Contact Pictures not displaying in texts...

At some point yesterday my contact pictures has stopped showing up in text messages. They still appear when calls are placed and in the actual contact information, but no longer are in texts. I have restarted my phone and also shut it off for over an hour to try to get them to reload. Any suggestions on how to fix this or why this may have happend. They were there yesterday morning then just stopped showing up...

Thank you for your reply. These were contact pictures that I had specifically gone in and set for contacts (I.E. for my brother there is a picture of my nephew as his contact picture). I had to delete the pictures from the contacts and then just re-assign them, seems to be working perfectly fine now. I'm sure it was just some sort of glitch.

Contact pictures not displaying in Lync 2011 for Mac

Using Lync 2011 for Mac I'm not seeing any contact pictures (including my own), though I can see them when signed into Lync 2013 on a Windows PC (7, 8.1, and 10 Technical Preview for Enterprises).
My company uses O365 hosted Exchange and on premise Lync Server.
I'm using OSX 10.10.1 (on a 2014 Air) and Lync for Mac 2011 14.0.10 (141024). I have AutoUpdate set to automatically check weekly and I manually checked (button at the bottom of Microsoft AutoUpdate) so I believe I'm running the current release.
Logging in with another user account on my same Mac/Lync install has the same issue
Another user account on their own Mac also has the same issue
It's also worth noting that the same issue arises when signing into Lync for Android and iOS as well, but not on Windows (Lync 2013).
Any thoughts? Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Also, my apologies for putting this question in this subforum, but I didn't see any main forum for Office for Mac or Lync 2011 or Lync for Mac at all. If there is such here on technet, please drop the link here and I'll move the thread.

On mobile, you have no control over how photos are displayed. Lync Mobile can only display photos retrieved from Active Directory or SharePoint, it cannot display a photo from a URL. If a user
is displaying a photo from a URL and there is a photo in AD, it will display the photo from AD. If there is no photo in AD, it will display no photo at all.
About Lync for Mac, as I know Lync 2011 for Mac does not support high resolution images. Only in Lync 2013,
In Lync 2013, when the user’s photo experience has been migrated to Exchange 2013 and they are using Lync 2013, high resolution photos can be used.
So please tell us where the photos are stored, we need more information to troubleshoot the issue.

Contact pictures not showing in text-messages section of HUB

I noticed a bug/mistake in the text-messages section in the hub.
When you are writing text message, contact pictures in the top left corner are showing only
for some contacts.
I don't know whats the reason for this.
Does anybody have this issue also - or does anybody know a solution?

Thanks for your feedback, do these contacts have pictures saved in the contacts profile? Or is the contacts picture linked from a social media account for example Twitter or Facebook?

Bbm contact pictures not displaying

i have a problem where i cant see my contacts' updated pictures and they can't see mine. i tried solving this by deleting and reinstalling blackberry messenger, but now i can't see even the old pics! it just shows the blackberry messenger default picture. PLEEEEASE can someone help me?

Contact name not displaying for texts/messages, only phone number does

When I turn on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.0.2) in the morning (I shut it off at night), any received text messages (iMessages or standard texts) only show the phone number of the person who sent the text and the standard tone for texts is heard, when it should display the name and play the special text tone I setup on specific contact records. It is not til after I use the Touch ID or enter my passcode that the name of the contact who sent the text displays AND the special text tone for that contact is heard. This not normal behavior. Even upon startup on my former iPhone (5), any texts received displayed the contact name and played the appropriate tone when the phone was turned on during the morning. HELP! I believe this is a bug; but, would like to have this confirmed. If it's a setting or combination of settings that I'm missing in iOS 8.0.2, please let me know.
My contacts have never been stored in iCloud nor do I plan to use iCloud.

Embedded fonts do not display (-) in text

Hi all,
I have embedded few fonts in my project.
Some of them do not display - in text. Those fonts also fails in winword, word is also not able to transcode - in those fonts.
In word it shows that block instead of -. Any idea how to display - for these type of fonts.
Fonts are GillSansST,HelvesticaST,SnellST.

I found that problem was with fonts it self only.
When fonts were generated - was not included in it.

Firefox page images do not display only text and links

New desktop (not this one) with windows 8.1 Pro, Firefox 29, Norton Internet security. When I go to many of the Firefox pages images do not display, only text and links. This is true for the "get add-ons" page. I can search for add-ons, but when I try to install one, the installation fails. Is there a security setting in windows or NIS that is blocking Firefox images and installations? The Firefox installation went smoothly without error. Other sites do not have this problem.

Wow! I never would have thought of that! My time settings were incorrect when I set up the PC, and I thought I set them. I did have the day, date, and time set correctly. But I did not have AM/PM set right. So, I was off by 12 hours. I corrected it and, voila, all works well.
I'm so happy now, because I can now get all the security extensions I've grown to love:

SuperFrench is found but this font can not display any text

"SuperFrench" font comes from Autodesk. this fonts's real file name is supef__.ttf
If it is placed in C:\Windows\Fonts folder then it is available for Windows native apps such as MS Excel.
Java GraphicsEnvironment finds "SuperFrench" font
but this font can not display any text.
This happens in both Java6(1.6.0_34) and Java7(1.7.0_06)

This font has some irreguler structure.

One contact can not recive my texts.

One contact can not recive my texts, he has a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T and I have an Iphone 5s with Verizon and IOS8. Other people with the iphone 5s, verizon and IOS8 can text him and he will reccive theirs. Why can he not recive mine? We both can still call each other and he can text me and I reccive them. The texts I send him never come back and say not delivered so I am assuming they are getting lost somewhere. Is this an AT&T problem or Verizon, also how can I fix this? I need a quick fix!!

You said that your iPhone is saying "Not Delivered" which means that for some reason your iPhone is trying to text him via the iMessage system as that is the only time that you'll get a "Not Delivered" "Delivered" or "Read" message sent back underneath the text that you recently sent. I also noticed that you said that your friend is using GS3. So if I'm thinking correctly, your iPhone think that your friend is using an iPhone as well. If you go into your settings and turn off iMessage then every text will be sent as SMS over the cell tower...then he should start receiving them. This is only a temporary fix unless you don't care to use the iMessage service anyway. Hope this sheds some light...

Slide Pictures not displaying in Presenter- only text

Hi. I have just published my first powerpoint 2007 presentation using Presenter. The pictures on the slides are not displaying in the main window. They are only visible in the thumbnails. Any suggestions for fixes gratefully recieved.

I am running Presenter 7.0.1
All the pictures are either PNG or JPEG
All the pictures are affected
The only way I could get the pictures to work was to resave all 147 pictures through powerpoint to my computer. A Colleague of mine made the presentation on their computer but they did not have presenter so they brought the presentation to my computer.
Was there a quicker way to embed the pictures?
Also how do I reduce the file size from 52MB to 20MB in the final PDF?

IPhone 6 contact picture blacks out after calling on the phone. This is a sort of a bug since all the others options are available just the contact picture is blacked out

Have you tried to delete the contact and then re add them?

For some reason, my blog pictures are not displaying. How can I get my pictures to display next to each entry on my Jazz interviews page? Right now, the only entry that has a picture is Guillermo Nojechowicz. Did you delete the placeholder frame on the blog entry page? If you inadvertently did so, and even if you place another picture on the blog entry page, that picture will not appear on the main blog page.
For the picture to appear on the main blog page, you need to place the picture directly into the placeholder frame on the blog entry page, eg, via drag and drop.
To fix the problem, you will need to make a new blog entry, and copy and paste the text, and drag the picture for the blog entry directly into the placeholder frame. To fix the date of the new entry, enter the date in long format, and it will be resorted correctly in the blog entry list.

My contacts do not display in the contacts section.

All of the information is present in call history and I can search my contacts when sending a text. This means that the contact info is there but just not displaying properly. This happened when I upgraded to 5.0. I have a backup file on iTunes but the backup time and date is more recent than the update. Any ideas?

I then logged onto iCloud at www.icloud.com after my contacts were there "thank God". I then made sure my phone was connected via wi-fi. Then when I brought up contacts the screen flashed on and off. I re-entered contacts and they were all displayed.
Sounds like a wierd glitch related to getting iCloud up and running.
