Contacting adobe/changing email/I need help!!!

Ok. This is all very complicated.
I bought photoshop student edition a couple of years ago (March 2013) through amazon.  I have since changed colleges and computers so I am trying to put photoshop on my new computer, however I can't get my serial number.  The email address that I registered my product with has since been deleted since I changed colleges so when I try to access anything on my adobe it asks me to confirm my email address which I can't do because it doesn't exist anymore.  I can't even change the email address without confirming the old one.  I had to use a different account to even post on this forum.  Here's what I have tried:
Looked for the box and CD but I must have lost them while moving.
Looked in past emails (emails from my student account were forwarded to my personal account) and could not find one with my serial number
Tried to login to the old account with the old email address and was't able to access my products without confirming my email address that doesn't exist anymore
Here's what I do have:
Emails from Amazon confirming my purchase
Email from Adobe saying 'get the most from your new Photoshop CS6 software.
Photoshop on my old computer, but it is currently broken so I would have to get the computer fixed to access it.
I really wish I could just call someone in Adobe to work this out but it looks like posting here is literally my only option.  If anyone could help I would reallllllllly appreciate it.

    That's going to be a ridiculous waste of money and energy.
    First of all, the current ATI drivers don't support multiple GPUs, so at the moment even a single 4870X2 would be only a 'normal' 4870 (which is quite a speed beast already). GFX drivers evolve rapidly, so things might look different next month, but when it comes to Linux and hardware there's one Golden Rule: stay away from the newest stuff and wait for proper support to get coded.
    I also wonder what power supply could possibly cope with the differences between idle and full load; that's way beyond 400W. But then, I'm one of those "quiet&green" types where >100W idle is already a bit much.
    I kind of understand that you want to get it done and not worry about hardware for the next 10 years or so, but that's simply not how the hardware world works and never did. At least not for the average consumer.

    As bregent says, the names of the variables you're assigning at the top of the script don't match the variables that you're adding to the $body.
    Another problem is that you're using lowercase for the $_POST array. For example, you have $_post['gt']. PHP is case-sensitive. It should be $_POST['gt'].
    Even when you get those problems sorted out, the script is extremely insecure because you're not checking any of the values submitted. In particular, you're assigning the value of the 'gt' input field to the From: header. This will lay the form wide open to attack by spammers. (Google for "email header injection" to understand the problem.)
    If you want to put a value from the form into the headers, you must first make sure it's safe. For example, I see that gt is meant to be an Xbox Live gamertag. Assuming it must contain only letters and numbers, you should sanitize it like this before inserting it into the headers:

  • Problem with changing flash content - Need help

    I need help in changing  the flash content. Here is my proble,
    1) I bought a flash template (I will call this Original) from a website and paid some money to customize my menu,logo and background color.
    2) After they finished it they sent me several files. Like 1) index.html, .swf, psd, .fla. In all the files .html,.swf (the video) and .psd I am seeing my customize changes (logo,menu and background color). But the .fla file they sent me is still shows everything from original template. It doesn't have my logo, menu or background color.
    3) I asked their technical support and they walk me through. a) Open the .fla file in flash pro. b) Change the content c) Hit Ctrl+Enter and it will export the new .swf file to the flash folder. d) Make sure I delete the video from flash folder and replace the name with the one I created.
         I did all these steps. But the problem is the .SWF that i generated is showing everything from the orignal template. It did change the content but I don't see any of my customize request. (Menu, logo or color)
    4) Then I open the index.html and I DID NOT see any of the changes in the content.
    My feeling is they did not provide me the correct .FLA file. I really need your help.
    My confusion is a) Have they provide me the correct .FLA file or I am doing something wrong. b) When I generated the new .swf video and renamed it properly why it didn't reflect in the index.html file.
    I am really going back and forth with them since last 15 days and its not going anywhere. I really appreciate any help.

    Unfortunately, if you have not enough knowledge about using Flash, and do not want to pay to have this done for you, the folks who did this for you are likely going to be the only ones who can help you resolve it.  They should be able to provide the edited fla and the new swf if they are in any way a credible/reliable business.... which at this point sounds like they are not.

    Where are you trying to login?  PSE7 didn't require to login anywhere buy#t if you created a photoshop.com account then it is gone forever.  Instead, Adobe now uses Revel but please tell us where are you trying to login.

  • Outlook contact sync changes email properties!!! How to stop that?

    Hi,
    when you modify or add a new contact on the iPhone, once you synch it with Outlook (2007 in my case), all iPhone contact emails properties are changed in outlook.
    I have set Outlook to default to send email in HTML, not in RTF:
    Tools->Options->Mail Format->Internet Format-> Convert to HTML Format
    This means it won't send RTF mails at all, first converting them to HTML messages.
    Outlook "offers" a way to override this setting directly in the contact form.
    If you open a contact in Outlook "Contacts" view, then double-click its email address. You get a dialog box called "E-mail Properties".
    By default, it will use "Let Outlook decide the best sending format" as the "internet format" mode. This comes from the default we have set above.
    Problem is that each contact modified in the iPhone resets this "Internet format" for that particular contact to "Send using Outlook Rich Text Format".
    This is ways stupid since when you send a formatted email to someone who doesn't have Outlook, then (s)he gets a plain text email and an attached "winmail.dat" file that is binary and containing the formatting and attachments, built-in pictures, etc...
    This file is recognized only by Outlook and can't be read if you don't have outlook or a utility to decode those files.
    Can Apple fix this and keep the "Internet format" settings as it is in Outlook?
    And if you create a new contact on the iPhone, then, when synching, use Outlook's default Internet format?
    Is there a workaround to this annoying problem?
    I know that Outlook is tricky, not the iPhone or iTunes, but we have to live with it.

    It sounds like you need to find your Apple ID email address and possibly reset the password as well. I have 2 articles that should help you get that accomplished. First to help find your ID:

    Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com) and click “Find your Apple ID”.
    Enter your first name, last name, current email address, and any prior email addresses that you might have used to create an Apple ID. Apple uses this information to search for Apple IDs.
    If no Apple IDs are found, follow the onscreen instructions to create an Apple ID.
    If one Apple ID is found, choose whether to receive an email from Apple or answer security questions. Both options will conclude by asking you to reset your Apple ID password. Follow the instructions provided.
    If multiple Apple IDs are found, select the one that matches your current email address. Then choose whether to receive an email from Apple or answer security questions. Both options will conclude by asking you to reset your Apple ID password. Follow the instructions provided.

    Click "Password and Security".
    In the "Choose a new password" section, click Change Password.
    Enter your old password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Click Save when done.
    The next time you use an Apple feature or service that uses Apple ID, you'll be asked to sign in with your new Apple ID password.

  • Can't open email and contacts after changing email address in iCloud

    I changed my email address in iTunes and iCloud and now I cannot open email and contacts.  The beachball appears and after about 2-3 minutes I get a message that the program cannot open.  I'm ready to throw my iMac out the window.  It is only a couple months old.

    Back up all data.
    Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
    Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
    When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.

  • Big email problems- need help asap

    I really hope someone out there can help me. I posted this same problem last night but I'm dying for some help. I 'm new to BB and can't set up my email account. We are a small company using Microsoft Exchange and access our email away from the office using Outlook web access. I'm going step by step doing everything it asks and when I'm done I get a message saying connection could not be established and to check that the server name is correct and that the server is available. I know the server name is correct because I use it on my laptop all the time to access my emails. Does anyone know how to check if the server is available? do I need some software I don't have? can I use the BIS to create an account and sync with my work outlook without having to change my email address. I'm very computer unsavoy and could use someone's knowledge. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Emailing multiple individual photos from iPhoto is causing the same image to be on different emails. Need help!

    I am using iPhoto to edit my pictures from my Canon 60d. As I edit the photos, I send them by email within iPhoto (using the Large setting) to several members of my family. Last night I sent about 20 different pictures with different descriptive titles in the email to multiple people. However, when they view them in their email on their iPhones, it is showing the first picture over and over again, no matter what the title of the email says the photo is. It is even stretching the picture to either landscape or portrait depending on the view of the different pics in each email themselves but is still showing the same pic no matter the orientation.
    I need to figure out if this is a bug with iPhoto and iPhone or if I need to do something different. You would think if you choose an image and email it, it would be THAT image. It only began within the last two weeks or so but it has been consistent when emailing multiple single photos. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

    I've seen this issue myself between iPhoto and an iOS device.  It appears to be an issue with the how the iOS device sees the email templates used by iPhoto '11's built in email feature.
    Suggestions:
    Let Apple know you have this issue: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html
    Go to iPhoto > Preferences > General > Email photos using > MailThis will bypass the email templates and send your images directly from the Apple Mail program.  You won't have the pretty templates, but the images will come through (which is the important part in my opinion).
    Keep your software up to date on your computer and on your iOS devices. (If / when a fix comes, that's how you'll get it.)

    Hoping someone can help. Have a HTC Droid DNA for a couple months and love it. No problems. About a week ago I took two pictures and was forwarding them to my gmail account([email protected] I accidentally sent them to [email protected] which is an account that does not exist. I received a notice "could not deliver mail" and two consecutive "droid" sound notifications. No problem I thought, just go into sent mail and delete but they are not there. I guess because they were not actually sent. Now for the past week, EVERY HOUR (that is the time I set for notifications-syncing) i get two consecutive droid sound notices. Extremely annoying.
    All mail functions for my gmail and aol accounts work fine before this happened and other than the annoying droid reminder every hour work fine after.
    I was hoping someone could help me solve this in some way. I am not very phone, tech literate so please explain any possible fix carefully.
    It was suggested that I clear the cache, that might fix the problem. I did that but unfortunately the problem remains. I would have thought this would (could) be a common problem (accidentally sending an email and attachment to a wrong non existent address).

    When the domains mail exchanger has a delivery problem it normally send that message to the sender alerting you to the problem.
    In the body of the message will be something like [email protected] could not be delivered, normally it will say the email address does not exist or will give a message of "we will attempt to deliver this message for 5,7, or 10 days"
    The domain if after these attempts will send you a final message of "Delivery to [email protected] has fail, we are sorry but we have gave up"  that will be the last message you should receive.
    I would send an email to [email protected] tell them to please stop the mx from sending you repeated bounce messages.
    takes them secounds to comply once they see your message.
    Of course that was in the old days, hopefully it has not changed.
