Contacting Adobe`s PSE 7 learning
After having installed PSE 7 I was able to open on the wellcome page
the little icon to get some hints and tricks as shown on this page.
Unfortunately I cannot anymore do so. The lttle black triangle on
the icon turns red as soon touched with the cursor.
I know I´m a bloody beginner and maybe the solution is simple.
Nevertheless I would appriciate a helpful advise very much.

Fortunately I am getting mails from Adobe email client. Could you try it again to confirm if it works for you know ?

I have thee Mac computers with Mac OS 10.6.8, one of which is a Mac Pro. No matter how many updates I install from Adobe, their Flash Player does not work on any of these 3 computers. I don't know how to contact Adobe Systems about this problem, but I think it is their responsibility to make sure that their so-called "universal" software works proplerly on a relatively recent operating system like OS 10.6.8 that is still in widespread use. When you install the updates, nothing happens -- not even an error message. What is the point of a universal player that is not universal? It works fine on my MacBook Pro with OS 9 Mavericks, but it does not work at all -- indeed, has never worked -- on my 3 Macs with OS 10.6.8. Has anyone contacted Adobe Systems to find out why the Flash Player does not work with OS 10.6.8 and what they plan to do about it?
Where are you getting Flash from?
Get the appropriate dmg installer here and then run it.

If it still won't install, do these two things: First uninstall any Flash by going into the second level Hard Drive Library>Internet Plug-ins, and trash the Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. Then boot into Safe Boot, Shift at the startup chime (give it much longer than a usual boot) and run the installer while booted in Safe Boot. -
I cannot open elements. I get a message to restart my computer and if this doesn't work to contact adobe. Numerous restarts have not worked and I have been trying for 3 days to reach Adobe with no luck. I cannot get through online and when calling the customer support phone number, I spent 2 1/2 hours listening to music on hold and gave up without ever hearing a human voice. This is ridiculous! Can anyone help? I really need to be able to use the software.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to add more email address's to the Contact Book in PSE 7. I follow the instructions and after entering the details click "ok" , the problem is that the address does not go into the Contact Book, it disapears somewhere into PSE 7 never to be seen again. I have gone over the help and tried to do this about 10 times now. I have updated PSE 7. Using Windows Vista, even tried in XP and still same issue.
I am using outlook 2003, when I import addresses into PSE 7 I make a new contact and the same it does not add email addresses to the contact book. This is driving me nuts as I have a few to add and when I send emails I have to manually type them in.
Is anyone slse having a simular issue?

GregMany people have reported problems with the contact book in PSE 6 and 7. The only solution appears to be to delete the contact book file, contacts.xml, as described in this tech note:

Rather than delete the file, you might move it to your desktop, in case this doesn't solve your problem. Also, PSE looks in more locations than described in the tech note for contacts.xml -- best to use Windows Explorer to search your entire hard drive for copies and move each copy to your desktop (with a different name). -
I've gotten an Error 150:30 message when try to start Elements 8.0 and asked to contact Adobe support. Trying to do that led me here.

I know it says Creative Suite, but PSE is based on the same code so a lot of the same fixes work for both. -

I figured this is a good way to get in contact with you, seeing how you are quite active in this forum.
This is regarding to the Adobe After Effects CS6: Learn by Video that you were a part of with Angie Taylor.
I have encountered a problem opening the .aep files in the "Project_Files" folder, I was prompted with the following error message "After Effects warning: 9 files are missing since you last saved this project."
When I try finding the missing images, it is not found in the folder or disc. Due to this problem, I cannot make full use of the video lessons.
I was wondering if you still have the images to the files in this video, and if so, would you kindly send it my way? I would be very grateful of your help.

i had to take my photoshop file into a hardrive because my dad was going to give me a new Mac and when things didn't work out and went back to my old one i use the time capsule thing to save everything before but didn't give me photoshop so i physically moved the file and tried to open it but then this error shows up
Please uninstall and reinstall the product.

How can I contact Adobe?
I have tried several times to get an answer to a question. I have an invasive pop up which claims to be from Creative cloud. Since i have not downloaded or updated anything i want to know if it is genuine before entering a password.
I now have four identical 'standard' emails with no answer and giving me no way to reply to the emails. The email claims there is no telephone number to contact me on in my profile but my number is listed there.
The email tells me to call an 800 number but since i am outside the usa , i cannot connect to this number.
The email tells me to go online and look for the support ticket but the ticket is not there so i cant progress it.
I originally send a mail to the phishing@ email address since i was worried this was what was happening. With no other way to respond, i send three further emails to the same address, one after each of the first three responses. I clearly advised that I have no way to contact support and provided a contact telephone number. I also requested a 001 US number so I could call Adobe. In each case, i simply got a standard email back without an answer and the same options to cantact adobe which do not work.
I now have an email telling me that my issue is resolved. This is a fantastic way to resolve issues. 1. ignore what your customer asks, 2. make it impossible for them to contact you. 3. dismiss their problem when they fail to overcome contact difficulties.
With no way to contact Adobe , it seems I may have to send an actual registered letter. Its the 21st century but I am reduced to this. At least i can guarantee that Adobe cannot claim they did not receive my contact as I will have the receipt.
i also tried 4 times to use your chat service and was cut off mysteriously three times. On the final occassion, i was advised I should create a brand new Adobe account and start again. Not very helpful.

I cannot create a catalog because everywhere I try on my computer, it comes up with cannot Lightroom cannot create a catalog on network volumes. And is there any way to contact Adobe directly? Would you be able to give me a phone number and/or email address?@@
The short and direct answer to your question about catalogs on a network drive is that you can't do that. The catalog must reside on a local drive.

I ordered the IX500 Scan Snap through Amazon and received the incorrect Adobe Acrobat XI Standard disc in Windows format instead of for my Mac. I contacted Amazon and they suggested I contact Scan Snap who suggests I contact Adobe for the correct disc. Please help.
Fujitsu delivers only Adobe Acrobat for Windows, not Mac.
