Contacting Apple UK for Warranty purposes

Can someone (or Apple) please tell me how to contact Apple UK to make a claim under the warranty scheme?
My MacBook has the 'screen flicker' problem which the whole world seems to know about, except Apple.
My MacBook is within the 1 year warranty, and I just want to get it fixed! I can find no form or online request tool to arrange this.

I currently have an apple ID that i have used for many years of ABC. This will hold all the apps and songs etc that i have purchased over the years. So i can currently download apps from app store using the new "purchased option" from the "Cloud".
I have just set up and wish to make a new account my main account for iCloud and all purchases. This is XYZ . How do i get all the purchase history and account actions from ABC apple id, to map across to the new XYZ apple id.
My objective is to log into my iphone on itunes, app store and icloud using the new XYZ apple id, but still be able to view and download any and all previous purchases held against the ABC apple id.
Can I/Apple port this account over so all history of purchases on ABC apple id, is now held against the new XYZ apple id.

RE all those that say it cannot be done or why do i want to or need to...
When my phone (on iOS 5) had the old/main apple ID logged in and used, the iCloud page where you can enable iCloud for apps, mail, notes etc - it would not allow me to turn on mail or notes for iCloud. Said i needed to create an iCloud/Mobileme address to use these features.
When i created new mobile/iCloud account today it worked fine for all iCloud options on my iPhone. Also, the emailed address for mobileme/icloud was more to my needs/liking.
The new mobileme/icloud ID created today cannot have my main email address added to it as it says my current/main apple id is that email address.
Any suggestions?

My mac is working fine. No noticeable problems. Then went onto netflix everything was working apart from the watching of the film and it popped up

Keep stock memory for warranty purposes

Someone told me to hold onto the stock memory for warranty purposes Is this true?I just upgraded to 2GB from 512MB This person told me if i ever had to have my Mac serviced I would need to reinstall the stock memory. think it is false from what i have seen in Mac - forums memory upgrade does not void the warranty.What do you think?

I myself have been asked by applecare to remove any third-party memory from my computers when troubleshooting. If you do not have the original ram, this can be tricky.

Just remember any research you perform here may be skewed by certain facts:

Our household has two IPhones, two IPod Touches, 1 IPad and 1 computer. we want to have it all under the same Apple ID for the purpose of Home Sharing, but my two kids iPODs cannot use their facetime or messaging becuase it shows they are on my iphone.

HELP! We have several Apple devices in our household (2 iPHOnes, 2 IPOD touch, 1 iPAD), and cannot get them to work correctly becuase my two children have to be under my creditcard and apple account. When I do this they cannot send me messages or facetime me, and when then try to do so with their friends it says my name and IPhone. Also, my husband and I want two seperate credit cards for iTUNEs but want to take advantage of the home share, but the one computer we have will not let us share. and had to have 2 apple ids created. WHy is this so confusing? Cant I reset everything under my Apple ID, and allow everyone to have their own email accounts and identity? what i meant was if i buy a brand new ipod on ebay and say it is faulty in the first 12 months will Apple repair it?
Yes, just make sure you do have that Proof or purchase on hand in that case to help validate your iPod's 1 year warranty.
If you need to have it serviced, simply explain to them that the iPod was purchase brand new through ebay and that you have your proof of purchase to help verify the date.

I have the same problem and I tried installing and unistalling Silverlight from my system but did not work. I had a chat with someone on Netflix and he told me that this is a Silverlight problem an Mac and the browser who use it, he refer me to use Google Chrome instead because don't need Silverlight and it worked. Now for Netflix on my Macbook I'll use Chrome.

Note that under the warranty,

It does not state they WILL NOT service in another country.
Likewise, nowhere does it state it MUST be serviced in country of purchase.

Create a NEW account for your son using these instructions. Note the the minimum age is 13. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Then use that ID for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings> iCloud
Settings>FaceTime
Continue to use the common ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores

How to contact Apple for Garage Band iPad bugs?

I looked around a little bit, but couldn't find a place to report Garage Band bugs or contact Apple support for Garage Band iPad. I wanted to notify Apple of the problem that bluetooth audio output in Garage Band does not work. (Yes I am aware of the latency, however, this would still appear to be a bug in Garage Band if a user has explicitly set audio output to bluetooth. Not all applications fo Garage Band require zero latency.)

Hi , i have renewed my iphone developer program for 99$ , But i used to get the message that "my account is expired please renew it" , later now my apps too disappeared in appstore.I have contacted apple support for more than 5 times, but no reply.What is happening.Can some one please explain please.

There are many devs who still have NO access to ANY part of the developer website.
Apple is aware of this (a dev support person telephoned me last week) but, so far, there is no fix or work-around.
It may be true that the developer site has access for SOME subscribers; it is NOT true that everyone is able to get resources shown as "online" on the status page -- many of us have ZERO access.
So, when Apple says 'this week' you have to balance that with the FACT that their assessment of the current status, ie. everyone has limited access now, is wrong/untruthful.
Anyone who doubts this should simply look at other posts in this forum -- lots of folks can't get into the site -- just an infinite loop from login to grey linen maintenance page and back.

I have been having issues with my apple id for over a month now. Apple Itunes support tells me its due to maintenance that they cant reset my password and I cant either thru the password site they created. I cant update apps or any thing related to my acc

I have contacted apple support for itunes many many times and no results. I can tell you there support group is not us based. One person I got was in germany I believe the other in Ireland. one went on vacation the other took over and now no emails at all on the status of my account thats been locked for over a month with no resolution in site. Isnt this a publicly traded company? Does anybody know how to get a hold of the board or someone above the service providers Im dealing with or a phone number? Emails are great but there no resolution from a person that can hide behind a computer screen.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo
