Contacting tech support

OK.....I'm not finding what I need in discussions, and I'm in an area (rural Hawaii) where I cannot get cell phone service (wireless internet is ok --- a bit iffy ......I need to talk to tech support via online chat or email.....I'm having major hard-drive issues; running very slow, can't access my primary user account; ran disk repair and got a lot of red high-lighted text messages --- cannot repair volume......although I have most everything backed-up, I need access to my user libraries (speciafically iTunes and iPhoto)......I just can't talk to anyone via phone.....what do I do???

He order 2 phone...one for himself, one for me. 1st the wrong address on the package..Fedex couldn't deliver...2nd...missing condo number Fedex couldn't deliver again...(2nd call to Verizon)...3rd package was finally deliver with 1 phone...missing my phone. Contacted verizon rep...reorder my phone again..but sorry we cannot give the same price as quoted on 21April...even though...its our mistake...Ok...Ok..what a surprise..but we can do this...after 65 minutes...found a price that was a little bit more...fine...just order the phone....I reordered phone on 28April...on the April 29...no email..so I can Verizon for the 4times in a few days..sorry your order was delay due to our Fraud dept. OK...talked to fraud dept...ok..account is good..will release phone and ship. OK...Next day, no email with deliver confimation. Contact Verizon 5 times now...sorry..your order was cancelled...YES...cancelled again...2nd time now...but we can reorder...OK...sorry but we cannot honor that price that was quoted..really...agent messed up...again...but we can do this for you....I don't understand...your mistake...ALL the times...
    Strange ...how my order gets cancelled twice by Verizon's mistake....yet you cannot honor prices that your agents quoted!!!
    I didn't reorder the phone....I cannot in good faith same with a company that does not stand behind their own mistakes...and worse...they make the poor customer pay for it...
    I will not be renewing my contact...its time to Cricket Wirless...which my sister-in-law loves for half the cost....

    I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
    VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
    1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
    2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.

    did you use the number by considering the opening times? (See screenshot)
    And you should use "For help with other issues, please see the support options on our Contact Customer Care page." Click through there and if "open" please use the chat, I for may part had the best experiences. I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

    To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another install. Does it go through this time?

  • How to REALLY contact Tech Support

    Tried for a week by Support Emails to contact Tech Support over an urgent issue but no Respponse—and no "paper trail" of my submissions.  Doea anone know of a way to REALLY contact someone in Tech Support?  Maybe a phone number, or a real-person email address?  Would really appreciate help.

    Whenever I try to buy music, it asks me for the security code of my credit card. I enter it, everything is correct, but it tells me to contact tech support to complete the transaction. I cannot find where to contact, and I never received an email back from the one I sent asking tech support directly. Can anyone help?

    Make sure you verify the billing address for your iTunes Store account. It needs to be the exact same as the credit card company. Meaning: if your street name is capitalized with your credit card you'll need to make sure it's capitalized on the iTunes Store account. They're that picky.

  • Impossible to contact tech support

    a big reason for my company's desire to cancel our "Creative Cloud" team contract is the complete lack of access to tech support.
    the fact that it is really expensive is almost balanced by the access to Adobe's excellent software.
    however, if Creative Cloud worked and the upload of video files wasn't so painfully slow, we might have more patience.
    following the cancelation directions leads me nowhere;  as, when I click on "my account", I do not get a screen with a "cancelation of account" tab, like I'm supposed to.
    haven't been able to find telephone contact info;  and, there are endless line-ups to talk to a real person.
    my recommendation is for Adobe to stick to what it does best;  which, is to create software.

    can't agree with you more, regards the absurdity of including all these useless documents, taking up bandwidth.
    I've become so "unprintable expletive" at Adobe, for the complete inability to contact support staff, regards "Creative Cloud".
    don't get me wrong, I love their software;  but, they need to increase their budget for hiring way more support staff.
    for a week, I've been trying to get confirmation of my request to cancel my company's "Creative Cloud Team" contract, within the first month;  so, we'll be eligible for the complete refund.
    earlier today, I finally got an email, giving me a phone number;  as, I couldn't find any contact info online.
    again, the only way I could talk to a real person was to contact sales, as they're always happy to take your money.
    then, I got referred to a pleasant guy, who desperately tried to talk me out of cancelling the account.
    when, he finally got it, that I was not changing my mind;  he transferred me to someone else, who was supposed to actually do the formal account cancellation.
    of course, I got put on hold for 10 minutes;  then, kicked off the line.
    so, I still haven't had any confirmation, that they have recognized my request to cancel.
    this "unprintable expletive" drives one crazy.

  • Need an easy way to contact tech support.

    Verizon is a big company.  We have 3 phones with Verizon.  Because of income reduction we closed internet and use it from another family member.  Now working 60 hours+ a week... the change was more practical.  We are Verizon customers, but did not know that email would disconnect without internet because we can sign into email from the Verizon cell phones.
    Now we seem to need the FIOS Technical Support Team, to ask if they can set-up a forwarding message from the old email.  Some day they will probably fix this communications disconnect.  Nobody would ever use their email if they thought it was to be disconnected when the customers do use other Verizon services.  There must be a solution.  People can't remember all the small details in times of distress.  I am sure Verizon realizes that people don't always have TV, Internet & home phone. 
    It is a matter of keeping the image of being the service provider of choice.  If there are no options, then Verizon suffers from not being valued service providers that the customer thinks they are.  People pay for a service (or 3-5 services, phones, TV, internet, multiple family members using and recommending Verizon!).  Then if no solutions are offered for email in times of trouble, it leaves a bad message.  How could that be?  How could Verizon not give options to fix problems from closing internet?  I don't believe this is possible yet.  Does anyone know a easy way to get Tech support?
    When times are better... would you go back if your service provider only helped you with part of your services?
    Please send any useful answers to this new problem.

    As "topdog" has stated, you can only have Verizon email if you subscribe to Verizon Internet service.  That's the nature of the system and nothing has changed in that regard for a very long time.  Also it's important to realize that your Verizon mobile phone service is provided by a separate company.  Verizon Wireless is the mobile phone company, and Verizon Communications is the Internet company.  Maybe that sounds strange, but once again that's the way this thing is organized.
    Based on the information you've supplied I'm not certain what your goal is.  You may want to consider setting up a free web-based email account such as Google Mail or Outlook.com.  In any case you will require some method to get online.  Perhaps your local library has Internet service that will allow you to achieve your goals.  Of course I'm curious about how you got online to post in these forums.  Maybe that's an interim solution until you get things squared away.  Good luck.

    Yes. Itunes support can help you out.  This is why they told you to contact them.  Do that.

  • I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 in April 2010.  Recently had to reinstall it from disk... no install issues, until I went to use.  Says I need to contact Tech Support.
