Contacts from icloud to sd card

i need to transfer my contacts from the cloud to an SD card. i have too many contacts and they wont all load in to my car bluetooth. I can load them to an sd card and store them in the car that way but i cant figure out how to move them. Also will the files be readable from the sd card?? Thanks

The backup of your iPod Touch would include your camera roll photos. Restoring the backup to another iPod Touch or iPhone would recover them. Photos will not be restored by restoring the backup to an iPad.
Note: Apple deletes iCloud backups after 180 days of inactivity so be sure to do this before then.

I just figured out how to restore contacts from icloud....
Try this if you already have the contacts tab turned on in iclouds on ur phone settings...& it still have no contacts:
Go to icloud.com - contacts
bottom left hand corner is the gear icon which is settings - then select all
This selects all your contacts then go to export as tv card or something like that
A window pops up asking u to save - save onto ur computer where u can access easily
go to ur email, compose new email & attach the saved contact list that u just saved onto ur computer
on ur phone open mail, then open ur email with the attached contacts
open the attached contacts - at the top it will say ' add all contacts' select that
then it will pop up 'create as new contacts' or 'merge contacts'
i selected create as new contacts as iphone 4 deleted all my contacts from my phone
after a while it downloaded all my contacts back onto my phone which I double checked by entering the contacts app from my iphone
so happy i got all my contacts back yay! i had over 400!!!

One thing I noticed though is for my name, it used to have an image of a person. That is gone now on my phone but on my computer. Is that only in iCloud?

Go to System Preferences iCloud pane. Sign In using your Apple ID. Make sure Contacts is checked to the right, along with anything else you want to keep synced.

Thank you for your suggestion. I backup on itunes. I went to itunes, deleted syncing my contacts, then re-synced them. But the Facetime capability option continues to be there on most (not all, for some curious reason) of my contacts. I am not sure I posed my question correctly. I want to be able to FT with my family, so don't want to delete the FT capability totally from my iphone and ipad. But I don't want all these other iphone calls from various contacts to ring on my ipad as FT calls. I want a way to select with whom I have FT capabilities. Any further suggestions? Check icloud.com to be sure you contact list is correct there. If it is, just go to Settings>iCloud on your device and turn Contacts to On to sync the contacts to your device. If contacts are already set to On and you still see duplicates, you may be viewing a duplicate contact group in addition to the iCloud contacts. Open Contacts, tap Groups, then tap any groups other than iCloud to uncheck them, then tap Done. See if the duplicates are still there.

Well, you can go into setting>mail, contacts, calendars>add new account or through iTunes you can plug your phone into your computer, open iTunes, select your device, then select info. I hope this helps. Au revoir!

If your contacts are on icloud.com, download them as a vCard as explained here: iCloud: Export contact information as a vCard. Then import them to your phone as explained in your manual. If you aren't able to, you can create a Gmail account and import the vCard to Gmail as explained here: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/183711?hl=en, then add the Gmail account to your phone and sync your contacts from Gmail.
If they aren't on icloud.com, I'm not sure how you would access them from a backup on a Samsung, even if there was a backup.

i have a problem i want to import all my contacts in my android phone,
when i export contact from icloud to vcf file
or vcard its show the only name for some contacts not
mobile numbers in it or blank contacts with name only,

the process i went thru was vigorous but it started by going to at&t and they sold me a flash drive for $15 and they transfered my numbers on there and then when i got home i had to go to att.com/support and type into the frequently asked questions, transfering contacts from sim to iphone and they gave me a program to download which extracted the numbers onto outlook and then i just synced my contacts from outlook but the at&t store will make it sound simpler than it seems
