My contacts no longer show up in messages on Macbook Pro. Just phone numbers. I can not seem to figure out how to fix this! Anyone know how?

Try to create a new Boolean pref <b>browser.shell.shortcutFavicons</b> and set the value to false.

Your only chance is setting it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards, which you already did.

every time I try to open itunes I get a message saying "runtime error. An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. I have already un- and re-installed it, but i get the same message as before. How do i fix this? I don't want to lose my music and would at least want to save that.

When I plug my iphone in to my laptop, it no longer prompts me to download my photos. How do I fix this?
Is the phone displaying the connect to iTunes picture on the screen instead of the normal unlock. If so, something may have crashed (big-time) resulting in a re-set.
Is there any chance that someone else is signed into iTunes on the computer at the moment rather than your normal iTunes account? That may cause this as well.
At this stage, you could try to manually back it up first (which would be a very good idea), but it sounds like you don't have much choice other than to restore or set it up as new.
Has it done this repeatedly? or is this the first time you've seen this? -

Apps are forever linked to the ID used to download them. The only way to fix this is to delete the apps in question and download them again with the new ID

Are you using the same apple ID and password?
it seems all is in order, but perhaps the password isn't valid.
if the reset didn't work, try signing out of iTunes and App Store, then back in.
have you tried going to App Store - purchased and tapping on the cloud icon for the apps you want? You will still be asked for your password. -

I need someone to tell me if this is even possible. When I log into my computer and want to select my wi-fi network, there is a list of about 20 networks available. These are my neighbors' networks and I don't want my computer to even recognize them.
