Contacts of iPad not pushed to cloud, icloud backup option positive
contacts of iPad with iCloud backup option cannot be found in contacts in the cloud with my PC. What is wrong?

Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

Just bought the new iPad (3rd generation) and want to download files backed up previously in iCloud by my old iPad 2. Have my iCloud Backup option switched on on the new iPad but no luck in transferring the files. So my files are stuck in iCloud. Any advice would be appreciated.
ThanksIf you have already set up the iPad and activated it - You have to restore from the iCloud backup which entails totally erasing the device and then setting it up again from the iCloud backup.

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

After inserting my credentials, the new icon of my new app appears on the screen. On this moment an error appears, in dutch "Verbinding met iTunes store mislukt" meaning, "Connection with iTunes store failed"

I have icloud on my Ipad and today it says icloud backup this ipad hasn't been backed up in weeks.Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in,locked, and connected to WiFi. You will need to set it up as a new phone, not from a backup, first. Then, after setup is complete, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and have at least 50% battery power. After then update downloads and installs, you can go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
This will let you go through the setup again, and this time you can choose your backup. -

You can recover Your music but not with original names.
1. Go to Your iPod hard disk
2. You must to see hidden files (if you don't see them go to in system explorer to Tools > Folder Options > View > and mark Show Hidden Files)
3. Go to folder named iPod_Control
4. Copy folder Music - this is Your music but not with originally names

I believe you will have to restore fully then delet what you dont want to keep on your phone.

iPad is locked up with iCloud backup window. The ignore and settings buttons do nothing. It is like the iPad is locked up
If you are unable to cancel or power down, try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost. -
IOS 5 ipad not backing up to icloud
I have given a friend a number of my older Apple devices that he likes to use with older IOS. Before the start of October, all of his devices were backing up to icloud with no problem. Suddenly, the 3 devices(iphone, ipad 1, and ipad 2) stopped backing up to icloud, but his iphone with IOS 6 is still backing up to icloud. I doubt there are many people out there still using IOS 5, but has anyone else experienced this problem? My feeling is that Apple is not supporting icloud backup for IOS 5 devices due to the fact his IOS 6 phone is working fine.
We have tried a number of fixes. We have removed the icloud account from his phone, tried using another icloud account, etc. We have deleted the backup of the ipad 1. Nothing has worked. The same error appear about 30 seconds after attempting an icloud backup. It says something to the effect of "an error has occurred. The icloud backup did not complete."
We don't want to erase one of the devices and go back to factory settings. My friend likes using IOS 5 and does not want to update the phones. Any ideas/solutions? Thanks in advance for the help.You can try this:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from the other accounts/groups) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section), set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap each of your accounts (Google, exchange, etc.) and turn off contacts syncing with these other accounts.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from the other groups back to your device and to iCloud.
(I'm not sure if this works with Facebook contacts or not.) -
Find my ipad not showing up on iCloud
Find My iPad is not showing up on iCloud, nor is Find My Mac. Find my iPhone is working beautifully. I have checked all the settings on each device, and that all are with the same AppleID. I did originally have the iPhone and the iPad with different IDs.
I'd appreciate any advice how to get this fixed. Not the only problem I have with iCloud, but this would be a start.
CheersI, too was confused about this. I signed into my iCloud account, and I see the icon for "Find my iPhone", but no icon for "Find my iPad". Apparently, when I go into "Find my iPhone", there is a sub-area where it lists my devices - it defaults to "All Devices" at the top is designated, but then, I can click on the "Devices" Radio button located at the top left corner, and it will list my iPhone and my iPad separately. I can then click on my iPad there. See if this doesn't resolve your problem. Apple made this interface confusing by allowing one icon in iCloud to represent all your devices, whether an iPad, iPod, or iPhone. Hope this helps!

HT4859 Are my iPad Notes backed up on iCloud?
iPad Notes are not included under Settings, Manage Storage, Backup Options. Does this mean you cannot back up your Notes on the iCloud? If you can, how do you access them on a PC?

How do I get iCloud Backup Options to display the list of apps on my iPad? It just spins forever.
I'm trying to set up iCloud backups for my iPad. I go into Manage Storage, selet my iPad from my list of iCloud enabled devices and then I get the Backup Info screen. Its supposed to list all of my applications so I can turn on/off backups on an app by app basis. Unfortunately it just spins forever and the Backup Options list never populates.
This works fine in my iPhone 4s, but not on my iPad.
I don't want to run a backup without doing this since I have a lot of data in a couple of apps and I don't want those backed up.
Is this an iOS bug on the iPad?Eventually the Settings app just crashes while waiting for the Backup Options list to populate.
When I try an actual backup of my iPad to iCloud it spins for a while and then crashes.
I only want to backup up a handful of my apps to iCloud but right now I can't even get it to show me the list of apps to turn on/off.

How properly maximize in jre 1.3? JFrame does it, I want to with JWindow.
I notice that a JFrame (in 1.3), when I click to maximize it, resizes only up to the task bar. Yet I cannot find anywhere in the code where it figures out the size of the taskbar. Does anyone know where this code is and how I'd do ti for a JWindow?
