Contacts order

I loaded my contacts from outlook and all showed up but they are listed by first names-----not by last names as in outlook. How do I get them in last name order ?

On your iPod, go into settings-> contacts. Then you can change the name by which they are sorted.

  • Contact / Order form in Rome ?

Hello everybody, how can I add a contact form or order form like this http://www.rosebud-europe.de/bestellung.html only much more better  in Rome ?
    Thanks for your answers, Lars

    Hi,
you cannot do that in Rome.
Export the global background of your site to keep the design if you want, or reshape it by CSS.
Create an html page containing the form and the design.
    Host it.
On your Rome Site, make a button with the action "go to url" for the event "on click". Copy/Paste the adress of your form.
    The simpliest method i guess.

  • Contact order: I sort first names/Last: I enter phone numbers by priority, Most used (home or mobile), then work, then fax, and save.  The next time I use the phone, the order has been changed to work fax, home, mobile.  Using hands free in auto is a trip

This is a pain when the phone re-sorts the order, when I need the most used number to be first using hands free in my car.   Who can get this corrected in the iphone software to leave the order in which I imput numbers alone.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now.  About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

  • Sort Order of Contacts

Hi, can someone help with this please..
On my Z10, the contacts order seems to make no sense. Here is an example of the order (with correct case present)
    alison williams
    Alison Berry
    Alison Maughan
    Alison Newton
    Alison Watson
    Alison Williams
As you can see the 2 allisons are not next to each other. I've check in Outlook and the names are exactly the same (with the exception of the case). Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
    Thanks
    John

In programming the developer has a choice whether to ignore capitalisation when comparing/sorting, I can't think of any reason to do it for a name, I can if sorting on Company name but not normal people names.
Perhaps a future update may change this or give the option to ignore capitals in Settings.

  • Nokia 8800 contact in first name sequence only?

I'm able to sync my Nokia 8800 with my powerbook, but is the contact order in first name sequence only? Is there any way to arrange it in Last Name basis?
Thanks in advance for your help.

i just noticed that of my 462 contacts, about 90% of them have the first name in the last name box and vice versa. i input each one of the contacts and have synced several times between my iphone, gmail and my 4 mac computers. i have seen that you can sort by first name or last name, but this is not a sorting issue. the first and last names have physically switched locations. i noticed this so i turned off mobile me and it did not sync with my iPhone. i think i will have to just reload the contacts on the one computer but i still don't understand what happened.

  • Source does not join to any fact source

I created a new dimension as follows:
    1) Mapped Source from OLTP to Physical Layer
    2) Created Alias for source
    3) Create physical "Few Foreign Key" join between new source table and existing table (key to key)
    4) Run consistency check with no issues.
    5) Create new Logical table
    6) Create new complex logical join between same two tables in Business Model
    7) Join is a Right Outer Join
    8) Run consistency check and receive the following warning message.
Can you please help me resolve? Thanks...
    WARNINGS:
    BUSINESS MODEL Marketing Contact List:
[39008] Logical dimension table OLTP Personal Communication has a source S_PER_COMM_ADDR that does not join to any fact source.

    I'm still a bit confused:
Here are the steps that I understand:
    1) Create Physical Alias Table (Personal Communication)
    2) Create Physical Join between Personal Communication and Contact
    3) Create Logical Table (Personal Communication) with physical source Personal Communication
    4) Create Business Model Join between Personal Communication and Contact (right outer with Contact on right)
If i save now i get the warning message as described at the beginning.
The Business Model look like this:_
OLTP = Source of table is OLTP database
DW = Source of table is Data Warehouse
    Personal Communication(OLTP Table)->Contacts(OLTP table)->Campaign Promotion(OLTP Table)->Contact Fact(DWTable)
In addition to the Contacts (OLTP) table that joins to Campaign Promotion the following other tables join to Campaign Promotion: Prospects (OLTP)
The Contact Fact table has 5 tables joined to it: Order, Service Request, Order Item Attr, Account, and Ordered Product
There are 5 Dimension Hierarchies (all created from the DW tables): Account, Contact, Order, Order Item Attr, and Ordered Product
I then try to recreate the steps indicated:
    5) Right click on the new Logical Table (Personal Communication). which generates another Dimension Hierarchy: ContactDim
Since the other logical tables created from OLTP sources do not have hierarchy dimensions created I'm not sure why I'm doing this here. If someone could explain I would appreciate it?
If I select the properties for ContactDim:
    a) The default root level = Contact Total
    b) Tables listed are: Prospects (OLTP), Campaign Promotion (OLTP), Contact (DW), Contacts (OLTP), and Personal Communication (OLTP)
If I expand the ContactDim dimension I have a Contact Total:
    Grand total level checked
Child Levels: Prospects (OLTP), Contacts (OLTP), Personal Communication (OLTP)
I then have sources for each of these below this with all fields listed and additional lists below that.
I'm stuck here and am not sure what to do. I really don't want any drill down capability but I want to elimenate the Warning message that I was getting before.
Thanks for any help that you can provide...

  • Customize page size in report builder 6i layout.

    hi all ,
I have developed a contact order report in report builder 6i ,which print its output on preprinted form (using DOT Matrix printer).
for example if output is giving 3 orders ,each order and its details should be printed on each preprinted form.
But when i given print from report builder 6i to dot matrix printer for every order one page is getting skipped .
Even i adjusted wide and height as 35 and in printer file also adjusted but even it is skipping one page for every order .
Even i adjusted wide 80 and height as 66 and it is skipping one page for every order.
Kindly help me how to customize page size in report Builder 6i.
    Thanks for all in advance.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. To get rid off that error, i did the following thing.
I set the width as 132, and height as 62 of header, main body and trailer section in report builder.
In Concurrent program window also, i set the column as 132 and rows as 62, and style as BAC.
When i submit the report through concurrent program, it's working fine.
Now i changed the width of the report to 200 and height to 66.
Now, i want to change the style to A4 in concurrent program window. I don't have A4 style in list of values. I went to SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR ---> INSTALL --> PRINTER --> TYPES. (Added A4 style to all types)
Now i changed the columns to 200 and rows to 66 and style as A4.
    Now, it's showing below error.
    ERROR: APP-FND-00314:INVALID PRINTER.
Again i selected BAC style and try to submit the program, it's giving different error.
REP-1219: 'Body' has no size - length or width is zero.
Could somebody help me to solve the issue. (Why it's giving above error after adding the A4 style to all types of printers) and why did i get the previous errors (REP-1212, Body fully not enclosed).
    Kindly help me, it's urgent.
    Thanks.

From my understanding your table that gets inserted is
KYIntranet.dbo.Contacts . And i guess company field in that table
needs to be checked for duplicates. So you can put the company
field as primary key for that table. Inserting the same company
name can result in a Primary key exception meaning that a duplicate
has been entered. By this way you can check for duplicates.
    <cftry>
    <cfquery>Insert SQL code</cfquery>
    <cfcatch>
<--Code to handle primary key exception-->
    </cfcatch>
    <cftry>

  • How to change component / actual used material during MIGO for Suncontract

    Hi
We have below scenario, need your expert help...
    1) As per BoM Material A- is produced from Mat B.
    2) Sub-contact Order is created with Mat A and Mat B is sent to Vendor with Mov type 541.
    3) In few cases Mat A can be produced with Mat C / mat D etc
    4) Now at the time of MIGO..we will come to know that which mat is used .
Question: -  Can I change component material at the time of MIGO. I mean can change component material from Mat-B  to Mat C etc.

    Hello Rajesh,
You need to change the component in Purchase order (ME22N). there is not separate table for this.
    - Go to ME22N transaction
    - Select the line item for final product
    - Go to Material tab and click on "Component" at rightside
    - Add new material number here
    - You can keep old material or delete it.
    Hope this helps.

  • Name sorting

    Hi,
I have CONTACT table, which contains Employees Details....
LAST_NAME is the column in that table...
    values are like this
    select last_name from contact order by last_name;
    AA
    AB
    AC
    Aa
    Ab
    Ac
Above is the output from the contact table.......
But My Client wants the sorting like this,
    select last_name from contact order by last_name;
it should give sorting order like this as per my client request......
    AA
    Aa
    AB
    Ab
    AC
    Ac
I know that, oracle do sorting based on ASCII values..
Can we do sorting like the above as my client requested..i think it is not possible...

    ya .....thanks for the reply.....
Front end application (siebel CRM) is using this table. users enters and sort the data using front end..
From Front end Application, user sorts the column last_name, then he should get the output like i said,
Just for example i have given, we dont know, user quries or sort on which column....10 columns are having varchar2 data type,
is there any parameter to set at Database level to get the output like the above???.
There might be so many tables having varchar2 data like the above, we can not give UPPER(column name) for the all columns of all tables....right...
How can i acheive this type of sorting???

    Hi Nadeem,
    our setup is like
                                                                vpn link
    call manager ------head office(router)----------------------------------brach router(gateway)------------------ip phone(branch)
    The call flow is
                                                                                                                  sip
    IP Phone---->brach GW-------------->call manager------------------>branch GW------------------->ITSP
there is no subscriber at branch side, so the outbound call should travel to call manager at head office and then get exit from branch gateway to ITSP through sip line.

  • Upgraded to Bronze Pack but do you really have to ...

I've had Vision from the beginning and have had TV and TV replay on a rolling monthly contract. Recently agreed new prices for Line rental, anytime calls and broadband and agreed to add a Bronze Pack with Film and Music. Phoned today to chase Vision and told a new 12 month contact order had to be raised for the Bronze Pack and I have to wait for the cooling off period to finish before they add the channels even though we are an existing customer. Is that the experience others are receiving - 6 days to add a pack?
Also checked progress of order online and it states I've ordered a self install gift pack including bronze. They aren't going to send me another box are they?

They might send you a new box. Your old one will be out of warranty, and you would be stuck if the old box went wrong just after you agreed to a new 12 month contract for a vision pack.

  • Utter Disappointment in BlackBerry (RIM) quality standards producing the Playbook

I owned a Blackberry Playbook for a little less a week, well really/technically I owned 6 different Playbooks in just under a week.
I had pixel problems with each and every Playbook, and had great service from the retail outlet, PC WORLD/CURRYS where they would exchange even for one faulty pixel.
I would be keen to know of others experiences, are there any people who know 100% they have a completely pixel defect free screen? I doubt it. I found a near perfect screen would always be spoilt by a dead or stuck pixel, even on one where it was not very noticeable it was there and ruined the product.
I spoke to Blackberry support on 3 different occasions, ease representative told me the screen "should" be perfect and if I exchanged the product I would be extremely unlucky to receive a PB with a faulty screen. Yes 6 out of 6 devices were faulty.
Its a shame as I really liked the interface, the size and usability of the device, but although I know I'm a hard task-master, I demand 100% defect free devices when they are brand new out of the box, if they have any defect, I expect a discount. 1/2 pixels being stuck/dead may not be considered a defect by RIM, but for me it is unacceptable and would really ruin my enjoyment of the product. Also I believe companies should have to display such policies clearly on the outside packaging as from my point of view, it is not a reasonable policy.
I am considering purchasing a PB direct form the BB store, but I fear that I will meet the same disappointment, and find myself in a return cycle through the post system which will become very tiresome.
Please post your experiences of buying your playbooks, gripes or commendations, unfortunately I currently don't have one as 6 faulty devices was too much, but I would be keen to see if it would be worth trying again.
    Thanks
    Andy

Ok, So I bought a Playbook from the BlackBerry Store, it arrived today, 1 dead pixel, 3 white specs, I think they are dust due to that they can be seem even when the screen is completely off. That's device number 7 that is faulty!
So I need to return it, who do I contact? I try the technical support line, the lady was pleasant but it took 15 minutes (total call length 30 mins) for her to go away to talk to her manager to see what they can do for me, to confirm they could do an advanced exchange.
I was emailed some terms and conditions that I am supposed to accept for this advanced exchange, but it references repair in these terms and conditions (which a second support person said is just their standard terms even for a new exchange), but my real problem lies with if I agree to the exchange, does this reset my cooling off period (distance selling regulations UK) which enables me to return a device with even 1 pixel defect or does it count as a Warranty exchange and therefore remove my standard Consumer Rights from being reset upon receiving the new item?
I sent a long email to the [email protected] which stated I had contacted the technical support, and I got a reply email (yes very timely) within a couple of hours which basically just says
    To whom it may concern,
Thank you for contacting order support. Have you already contacted technical support about this problem?
    Thank you,
    xxx.
    Order Support
    Shopblackberry.com
I have xxx for the representatives name, but it doesn't even reference my name given in my email, this is not good customer service.
I fear I will have to just get a refund as otherwise I can see myself being stuck with a device with defects I'm not happy with.
I also think that it is probably a rare few lucky people who receive defect free screens on their playbooks, as I have had 7 in a row it can hardly be just bad luck on my part can it...
    Disgruntled and dejected

  • Bug: Identity plate not added to printed output (or file)

I recently conducted an offsite photoshoot that required proofs to be printed with contact and ordering information, etc. I set up a series of custom 2-up print templates, with the email address as a watermark over each photo, and an 4x6 PNG background image with the contact/ordering information as an identity plate (set to "Render behind image"). This works beautifully in most circumstances, however, about 20% of the time, the proofs are printed without the watermark. This is quite frustrating because it wastes ink, paper, and more importantly, time.
I tried every combination of settings, formats, preset options, etc., and I cannot find any one particular reason for this error; and it seems to happen completely at random. In fact, if a proof prints with a missing background and I press the Print button again, it will print properly the second time (most of the time!).
I have even tried Print to File, but this method also suffers from the same problem -- although it seems to happen less frequenly. At least with this method, I can see if the background is missing before printing.
Note: This bug exists in both the latest release version, as well as the initial LR4 beta.

PS: Is there a more appropriate place to log bugs?

I tried drag and drop before.
In trying again, made the image smaller then the max high and it works now. (note: it's been awhile since I tried this, so the machine has had several updates to the OS and several reboots, so there is a possibility of something else, like a bad driver, getting fixed that resolved this issue)
