Contacts. The Note section has been lost.

I had a contact listing called "Passwords", where in the Note section, I had all of my crutial ID and Passwords.
I used it as late as a few days ago, but this morning when I signed on, the Contact "Passwords" was there, but the note section was blank!
How can I go back to an earlier backup to try and recover them?

If I do recover it, how can I "LOCK" a contact that prevents it from being changed without a few steps involved?

If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

Safari downloads: The network connection has been lost

I 'm downloading office 365 and the network connection is fine, but all the time the downloads folder tells me : " The network connection has been lost"

Based upon what you describe, I would assume that your program, while it is running, is initially small enough for the memory (RAM) in the FP-20XX but during the running of the program, it keeps consuming more memory until it runs out and crashes the module. With RT targets, you have to be very memory efficient; do not allow arrays to be built with unchecked size boundaries. The solution is to use good coding techniques, avoid unneccessarily large and complicated data types. Avoid unneccessary uses of read local variables or read global variables.
Alternatively, if you are using the Watchdog VI's. You may be failing to whack the watchdog often enough causing the module to reset itself.

CS4 "The connection to the remote host has been lost"

Suddenly I get the error message (CS4) when I try connecting to remote hosts: "The connection to the remote host has been lost. Click Refresh to reconnect." It is impossible to connect to ANY remote host.
This happens for all my sites, on remote servers in different countries, so it must be a DW problem. Please advice.

Have you tried using Passive mode:
Site Definition > Advanced > click the Passive FTP box and see if that works.

Can you confirm to me that the Books section has been discontinued in the latest release?

Until the latest update of iTunes, management from Mac to iPad was through iTunes.
Messy, and if taken away completely, then fine. Makes sense. I advised the same.
So now tell me how i can see the same draft book (ie not yet published, I am writiing one) that has successfully loaded into iBooks on the Mac over to iBooks on the iPad?
Reason: snce most people read books on tablets, not PC/Macs, and as writer/publisher I need to see it on the iPad too before publishing it. Or is, as seems to be the case here also, Apple is reducing product functionality - or has it "dropped the ball" again?

HT201460 We currently have Ipads set up with an Apple Configurator profile and the removal password has been lost. What options do we have to remove or alter the profile?

We have tried to alter the profile to push out a different password and to push out no password, but the the new settings do not copy over to the Ipad when connected via usb cable.
Any ideas?

You can try to reset and configure the iPad as a new device.
Have a look at recovery mode and DFU mode.

Uverse Signal Has Been Lost

We continue to have issues with the signal from AT&T, the TV (every tv not just one) will pixelate and then freeze and then we get the "Your signal has been lost" message. EVERY DAY. Technicians have come out and said they have fixed the issue by resplacing boxes, gateways, cables, the problem persists. Is anyone else having this issue? It is not new, it has happened ever since we have had u-verse for years. I am at my wits end paying for a service that I am not getting a good deal of the time. At this point I am seriously considering ditching AT&T for another carrier if a permanent solution cannot be found.

Visa write connection has been lost

When I tried to use visa write, sometimes I will get an "1073807194" error on VISA write. "Connection for the given session has been lost" The only way to get rid of the error is to reboot computer, but the communication only be good for a while, then I got the same error again.
Anyone know what it means? I searched the forum, back in 2001, someone post the same question, and the solution was to install NI VISA 2.5.2 But I am using LV8, NI VISA is 3.4 now.

I'm assuming that you are using VISA to communicate over TCP/IP. This error is indicating that a connection has been lost with the network. You can enable or disable this keep-alive checking using a VISA property node. Here's a link to the LabVIEW 8 Help information on how to use this:

Since rebooting fixes this issue, the problem may be with how Windows is handling this network. Is Windows reporting that the connection is being lost?

FTP-Remote connecton to host has been lost

I need this solve i tried at another computer and it worked! I tried passive ftp, i tried another ftp client and it worked!! There is something wrong with my dreamweaver cs5.5 it was working and suddntly it stoped :'( its been around a week i dont know what else to do..
i did system restore, installed again, deleted the site, try every posible combination with settings, changed the time out settings, etc etc etc :S

It sounds like you are unable to join your network and cannot see it in the Wi-Fi list in Settings. I would try the troubleshooting outlined in this article named:

Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
