Content area locked by a user and cannot be edited in EP

Hello,
Whenever i try to enter settings for a system to integrate it with EP and close the window in a particular login,after logging off once when i try to change the settings again,it gives the message "editing is locked by that user and cannot be edited,even after changing to edit mode.
Iam facing this problem since many days.Even after logging off many times,it doesn't allow to edit properties,and hence it becomes difficult to change even a single value.kindly help please.

The lock can be removed by administrator. Until then you will get such message. if you have system admin rights, then
Go to System administrator > Monitoring
In detailed navigation under portal > Object locking. click that and you will get to see the locked objects. press unlock and the lock will be released.

Found a solution...
• Go to your country's Apple Store website http://store.apple.com/
• Click on the Account button in the top-right corner
• Under Account Settings, click on Change your default shipping or billing info
• Sign in with your usual Apple ID and password
• The email address listed under Payment Information is the key
• Click on Edit next to Payment Information and change that email address to your preferred address

The only way you can ensure that only one transaction touches the data at any one time is to use a select .. for update nowait statement to select the rows to be updated.

Create a NEW account/ID using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. Go here - http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/ - and try contacting support. While I still show Lion in my purchases, I can't seem to download it again as I am currently running 10.8. But I made a backup of the install app so that I have both Lion and Mountain Lion installers. If you are able to download it again, make certain that you quit the install app and make a USB flash drive installer or DVD using Lion DiskMaker (which also works with Mountain Lion).
I'm curious as to what sort of problems you encountered when installing ML? Did you make the install? Or did it quit or something?

"'file.css' Is a remote file and cannot be edited", Dreamweaver 5.5

So I've done an hour or so of searching for the explanation and possible workaround for this issue I'm having in Dreamweaver 5.5. I've set up live view on the staging server with the company I work for, but every time I try to access certain files like the CSS for a site I'm working on it gives me the message, 'file.css' is a remote file and cannot be edited. From all the searching I've done most people's trouble is that the file is actually remotely located, but mine is not in this instance (its a relative link).
Also in my searches I've found an explanation something to the effect of, if you run on IIS you basically can't use this functionality with files above the file in the folder hierarchy (such as my css file, which is in the root while my html is in a folder which is in the root). Well, we are using IIS and I don't see any signs of us switching any time soon. This would be a pretty huge letdown if I couldn't use some kind of live CSS editor within Dreamweaver on IIS, and I guess I'm kind of surprised that it would come to that.
Does anyone have any kind of workaround for this situation? I'd really appreciate it.

For me it is, as I have only have a mac book and my main computer is a pc. So how this would be set-up on a mac I am not certain, I have used this kind of set-up when I was doing agency work though so it must be possible, but I have no idea how it was done, sorry!

I can't get Imessage to work on my phone number because the old number is there and it is grayed out and cannot be edited.
I can use it but not with my phone number, only with email.

The advisor should not have told you this for legal reasons. There is no way of tracking the iPhones just of finding out which SIM cards were used to activate them and if they were activated at all. Court can authorize Apple to release this information to the count. There is no legal way without involving a judge.

I need a Dreamweaver CS4 Sharpshooter's help:
I'm having an issue on the last two site files I have opened and it driving my crazy. I'm getting the yellow hilighted warning message. I open a file and where it states Source Code I get a numbers for example: 876948422.js then in the yellow highlighted it states: 876948422.js is a remote file and cannot be edited. [close] and this close looks like a clickable link.
I seen this on the first file last Friday and I freaked out because I have heard of bandits stealing traffic and comissions from affiliates and I though someone hi-jacked my page and was stealing my stuff because I have gotten zero results from all my sites with this style email Opin page while Google tracking software has been showing atleast a little activity on these sites.
So every web site that used that email Opin page I completely deleted. I even deleted them from my testing server on my local machine. I don't know if there is any software out there that can clean my machine of this kind of intruduer if that is what it is.
Now I just opened another file which I took into Dreamweaver. I copied all the code and did a paste and this file has the js file as well. What is going on here..... help!!!
It has the same file type with warning has someone completely taken over my machine through Dreamweaver or...

Unified photo library-projects in Aperture show up as empty events in iPhoto and cannot be edited

I have events showing up in iPhoto that used to contain images and now they are empty (black). When I try to drag the event to the trash I get the error message "This event contains Aperture photos that iPhoto does not support and cannot be put into the iPhoto Trash". But the photos all originally were from iPhoto and had been imported into iPhoto. What is wrong with my unified library? How can I fix this?

I've been tasked with creating forms to be sent to clients. Trick is, there's form data for the client to fill out and form data to be filled out here in the office (client number, for example). Is there anyway to setup a form such that we can enter the client number and then "lock it down" so that the client can't accidentally alter it when we send it to them?

There are several approaches, some more secure than others, so it really depends on your needs.
A simple approach is to use JavaScript to perform a test when the document loads. The test could look for a JavaScript variable that gets defined in a folder-level JavaScript file. You would install the JavaScript file on the machines of the users in your office. If the code that checks for this variable can't find it, then certain fields remained locked (readonly). Otherwise, they are activated (not readonly). To prevent simple mistakes, this is a reasonable approach.
There are variations on this theme (setting certain fields to readonly) that are not as automated, but you should get the idea.
You can also flatten certain fields after filling them, which converts them to regular page contents. While this would prevent folks from changing anything, it would also prevent you from subsequently changing anything or from exporting the data. This can be a bit more complicated to set up depending on the design of your form.

Photoshop CS3 - files are locked to 1 user after editing

Hi there,
Our setup is the following:
6 Mac OS X 10.5.8 clients with Adobe CS3. The images reside on a shred folder hosted on Mac OS X 10.5 Server. SC3 users are in an ACL group that has read/write permissions to all the shared files.
The issue we have is the following: One user opens an image and edits it in Photoshop, then saves changes and closes it. All other users who subsequently try to edit the file get the message "The file is locked. Use "get info" command in finder to unlock it". When you use the "get info" command as suggested - the "locked" tick box is greyed out and it says "you have read and write access to this file" - but you do not. The user who originally edited the file does not experience this issue, but everybody else does.
I first though it was an Mac permissions issue. So I tested by putting text documents in the abovementioned shared folder and then editing them as different users - no problems there, so it seems this issue is related to Photoshop.
Any advice on this problem would be appreciated. Also has anyone experienced the similar issue with CS5? As we are thinking about upgrading.

If you are opening files over a network or saving them to a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the event you are currently experiencing problems with one or more files. Working across a network is not supported.

Copy the CLOSED file from your server to your local hard disk, work on it, save it again to your local hard disk, close it, and copy the closed file back to the server.
Of course, the fact that Adobe does not support working across a network does not necessarily mean it won't work. It should.
Adobe's position is that there are too many variables in a network environment for them to guarantee that everything will work correctly in every network, especially given the fact that if something does not work properly, it's probably the network's fault, and Adobe has no way of troubleshooting your network.
If you can't work locally, you are on your own, and if something happens, you're on your own. If you must work from a server, make sure your network administrator is a competent professional.
When problems arise, a lot of valuable work can be lost.

Cannot update apps because of wrong user and cannot logout of wrong user

When I attempt to update my apps, I am prompted to login. However, the prompt shows my son's login and he has started a new account since because he forgot his password. When I synced my ipad the first time from my home computer, this issue has occured every since. Any suggestions?

Apps can only be updated by the Apple ID that purchased them. So if he has abandoned that Apple ID because he cannot remember the password, then those apps are lost to you as far as ever updating them goes. They cannot be switched to another Apple ID.
I suggest that you create your own user account on the computer that you use to sync your iPad and establish your own Apple ID with which to purchase the apps that you wish to use on your iPad. Then start over and restore the iPad to its factory settings and sync it to your Apple ID and your account.

Long press on the text you would like to select (tapping and holding) and then release after the magnifying glass shows up. This will select a single word. Then use the blue dots and drag them to select a region of test. Then press "copy". Open pages, and long press and release where you would like to paste. Then select "paste". That should paste the text.
If the text doesn't select within the browser, it might be an uncopyable format. Like if the text was within an image, naturally you would be unable to select it. The only thing to do there is long press the image and selecting "save image", adding it to your camera roll. Then you could insert the image within pages.

Close the photos app in the recents tray and then reboot the iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the Photos icon. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
