  • Why can't I find "content aware" in Photoshop Elements 12?

I am trying to remove a tower from a photo and do not have "content aware" on my drop down menu.

Using the spot healing brush in PSE12 does not leave a very professional appearance. Here is the photo I working with, as you can see, the tower is really close to the roof line and that is causing problems. I also tried to remove the electrical access box to the right side of the house and it left a spot that was again, not the professional appearance I am trying to achieve.

  • Photoshop Elements 13 Content Aware Fill Not Working

Hello, all. I am sort of new to Elements 13 and seem to have run into a bit of a blockade. I'm trying to eliminate a tree in the background of a photo with content aware fill capability; however, when I try this it loads as if it's working on it but when it's finished nothing has changed. I thought perhaps it wasn't prominent enough to recognize what to fill (which did seem unlikely), so I went ahead and tried it on something more isolated and still nothing is happening. I feel as though I must have something set incorrectly because a lot of my other tools aren't working either, but I can't imagine what it is I've done wrong.

When the editor gets weird, the first thing to do is to delete the preferences. Go the editor preferences>general, click this button and restart the editor:

  • I have CS5 design premium student and teacher edition, have never been able to receive any updates. And cannot find cetain features like Content Aware, Adobe Watermarks etc...Is there any way I can add these and other features

I have never been able to receive any updates. And cannot find cetain features like Content Aware, Adobe Watermarks etc...Is there any way I can add these and other features unavailable to me? Or do I have to upgrade the version I have? If so, how much would that be?

The only "content aware" feature in CS5 is the fill, so you are not missing anything with the updates because nothing more is there. And I honestly don't know what you mean by "Adobe watermarks" there is no such thing, but there is a series of scripts for such stuff.

  • How Content-Aware Fill can help with Video | Short and Suite | Adobe TV

Content-Aware fill in Photoshop is a powerful tool for generating clean plates in Premiere Pro. Karl Soule’ provides some examples.

Great idea that I can definitely apply to some video that has a similar (set of!) problems. Thanks Karl!

  • How to install content cd for Adobe Premiere Elements 10?

I am unable to install the content cd for Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Please help.

I removed the programs from my computer and reinstalled them. I installed
both Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Premiere Elements 10 from disk
    1. Then I installed all of the content folders from disk 4 (content).
When I open the Premiere Elements Program a dialogue box asked if I wanted
to add content, I checked yes and an internet site opened and I was able to
    download the content.
There must have been something wrong with my original installation of the
program as this didn't happen before.
Thank you so much for your assistance and your kind patience.

  • CS5 Content Aware Fill

Demos of the new Photoshop CS5 "content aware fill" feature on the Youtubes -- it looks impressive.
I know " Past performance is not necessarily indicative of  future results", but any guesses on when (or if) this feature would hit the PS Elements code stream?

This is looking like an advanced "must-have" type of feature so my guess is Adobe will keep it at the premium Photoshop level at least until CS6.
Note that Content Aware Scaling was introduced in Photoshop CS4, which came out at around the same time as Photoshop Elements 7 in the autumn of 2008 - but this other related feature wasn't added to Photoshop Elements 8 last fall.  Just a possible analogy.

  • Spot Healing - Content Aware

In the past I have used the spot healing brush in content aware mode to remove unwanted items from images.  Recently, instead if "erasing" the item, it is leaving a blurred streak.  Can anyone suggest a reason?
Using Photoshop CS6 extended - Mac.

Just purchased and installed Elements 9. Also have purchased Elements 6,7,CS2,CS5.
The content aware was the first tool I used, just to see if was as good as in CS5, CRASHED !
Who would have thought that people still operating with single core processors would buy this Adobe product?
2 thumbs up to your R&D department Adobe! Shouldn't this have been caught in a Beta version?
    How about buying mine back.....................

  • Content Aware Spot Healing Crashes

Just installed trial version. All went OK. Normal healing brush works fine but Spot Healing with Content Aware
crashes the entire program. Tried different images. Increased memory allocation to 99%. Scratch disks got 6GB to use from. I got 3GB RAM. Running XP SP2. My bet this is a bug in PSE 9. Any suggestions anyone?

  • Content aware move

I am having problems with content aware move when I use it on simple (uncluttered) images such as still life shots. For example I find that moving a wineglass on a table top introduces unwanted distortions and other artefacts. Are there some better guidelines for the use of this tool?
    a

Not in photoshop elements 11, but it has been added to photoshop elements 12.

  • Photoshop CS5 content-aware scale

Hi, I'm a photoshop CS5.1 64 bits user, I'm following the "Learn adobe photoshop CS5 by video" with the instructor  Kelly McCathran. Well, I need to know how to create two layers with different sizes to apply content-aware scale...I can't! I import a picture (4000x3000) from adobe bridge...When I create a layer with a different dimension (3000x2000) the picture (4000x3000) turns to (3000x2000)!!! What am I supposed to do?

With the smaller image appearing with the larger one in Photoshop, click on the smaller image in its Layers panel and drag it over the larger image.
Once the smaller image is sitting on top of the larger one in the Layers panel, you can change the size of the smaller image by using Edit > Transform > Scale.
Hold down the Shift key as you alter the scale, the image maintains proportion.
