Content based Routing Vs Message based Routing

Hi friends,
Can u plz differentiale Content based Routing and Message based Routing?

Hi,
Content based routing is when the receiver is determined based upon some value in message i.e for a field 'a' receiver is A but if its 'b' receiver is B.this is determined at runtime.
While message based is normal routing

    Hi Experts,
How to do Content and message based routing for webservices through Enterprise Portal?
    Regards
    Sara

    hi
Content based routing in XI can be done during
    1) Receiver Determinations (Integration Directory) --- Used for entering a condition for
forwarding a message to one or more receivers
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/26/5ccd3bb4560f01e10000000a11402f/content.htm
2)Interface Determinations (Integration Directory) --- Used for entering a condition for forwarding a message to multiple inbound interfaces
    3) Designing Integration Processes (ccBPM) (Integration Repository) --- Used for entering a condition for processing process steps (see Step Types)
At all the 3 places u will use the Condition editor,

  • Routing Message based on FileName

    Hi all,
I hav a scenario where I need to route the file based on the file name.
for eg: if the 10th char of the filename is 'A' then it has to be placed in Location 1
if the 10th char of the filename is 'B' then it has to be placed in location  2.
Both sender and receiver are file adapters.
I thought of using condition in Intrface Determination (Context object) , but got stuck since I have to comapare only the 10th char not all the characters since other characters are dynamic.
Note: This is a pass through Interface and no mapping is involved.
    Thanks,
    Siva

    Hi,
I am using Context Object functionality for routing purpose.
In XPath we can use SubString Function but we can not use the same Function in Context Object.
Is there any workaround for this.
    Thanks,

  • Cannot connect using Accessing the Router's Web-Based

I'm trying to update firmware, I have done all the step to access the router's web-based.. I connected DSL to the Ethernet port on the router, from the router I used another Ethernet cable to connect the router to my laptop.. I can't get an internet connection.  The reason why I'm doing the update I have been using WRT54G2 V1 with no problems, all at once I can't connect to the internet using the router.  I was told that I need to perform a firmware update.
    Thank you for the help

What' s the ip address and the default gateway are you getting on the computer ?
Connect the DSL modem to the Internet port of the router then use port number one on the router to connect the computer.
Click on Start > Run > type CMD hit Enter command promt window will appear on the screen.
In the command promt window tupe "ipconfig" hit Enter. Now you will see the ip address and the default gateway on the screen. Use the default gateway to open the setup page of the router.

    WRT54GX4 - Difficulties Accessing the Router's Web-Based Setup Page.
I have tried everything posted to the forums and the Knowledge Base for several weeks now with no luck.  I can power push router and gain access to router's web-base interface but only for a few minutes than it quits loading part way through and or does not load at all.  If I turn off the wireless side I can access the router at will with no problems. My warranty is almost over. I am at my wits end. I would like to get it replaced under warranty if I can. (^8

Thank you for your recommendations peanuts. (^8
I bought the router back in December 10, 2006.
I updated the firmware to v1.00.20 back in June 2007. After I did a successful firmware upgrade I reset the router to factory default settings and then reconfigured it. It has worked Ok till a couple of months ago.
I have read everything I can find here on the support forum and in the Knowledge Base several times.
I have tried changing all the different settings to the different recommendations posted here and in Knowledge Base with no success. Each time I would do a long reset back to factory defaults, let it soak for a few hours and then make one change at a time and let it soak.
I have been monitoring 6 other wireless AP(s) around me (none mine) for a couple of months too. None of them are strong enough to connect to. My SSID is different from them. I have tried all the channels. My router is passworded and MAC'd.
It is looking like it is time to call support and try to get a replacement under warranty while it is still in affect.

  • Error in router's web-based setup page (WRT54G V5)

    Hi,
My router’s web-based setup page is unable to load fully.
There seems to be an error with some document.setup.save file.
I have tried to reset my router but the router’s web-based setup page is still unable to load fully.
    Please help.
    Thanks.

Try Internet Explorer, it usually works.
    JavaScript must be enabled.
Temporarily turn off your computer's software firewall, and see if that corrects your problem.
    Hope this helps.

  • Collecting Message based on Delivery Id

    Hi,
We have an scenario to collect the messages based on delviery number, like customer sends the bulk order and SAP splits that order and create the delivery for each splitted orders .
    Eg.
    Sales Order     Batch Order
    PO#      1234
This Batch order is split in to multiple orders as below
    Order_1     Order_2     Order_3
    1234_A_C     1234_B_C     1234_C_C
    Delivery_1     Delivery_2     Delivery_3
    1     2     3
These deliveries are sent to PI as DESADV in differnet time frame.
    ->     DESADV# 1     DESADV# 2     DESADV# 3
    inbound time     10:30AM     11:00AM     11:20AM
    PO#     1234_A_C     1234_B_C     1234_C_C
    Outbound time     11:20AM     11:20AM     11:20AM
Now we need to collect all the DESADV for a single batch order and send it to customer as a single DESADV .
Can anyone help me how to handle this in PI.
Is there any BPM process there to collect the messages based on PO number (1234_A_C,1234_B_C,1234_C_C) for particular partner.
I know correleation id can be used but PO is not constant.
    Thanks
    Lakshmi S

you can use the BPM Pattern to achieve this functionality.

I am waiting on the read ready/write ready bits of the response register but the write ready bit is never 1! The device I am writing to is an E8491B. Thank you. Here are a couple of ideas that we can try.
1.Try some sample code of simpler ways of communicating with the board. There are some good example that you can search for on the NI webpage. Here are some links for examples in LabVIEW and C for performing message based reads and writes using viIn and viOut. It's not exactly the same, but it is very very similar.

    2. Another option is to use NI-Spy to troubleshoo
t your VXI module. See the following link for more info. http://www.ni.com/support/vxi/spy/spy.htm
    3. I think the best place to find support on this module would be with Agilent, the manufacturer of this board.

My Small Business Router has been sending me email messages. This is a RVS-4000 version 1.
I just want to understand what my Router is emailing me or telling me...
The last message I received from my RVS-4000 was:
Oct 30 13:44:09 - IPSEC EVENT: KLIPS device ipsec0 shut down.
IPSEC EVENT sounds important. Whatever it is... And what is a KLIPS device ipsec0 shutdown????
I have Log Levels 0-3 selected...
    Log Level
Setting which level log Router should recorder. Level from 0 ~ 7 means:
    0: LOG_EMERG(system is unusable)
1: LOG_ALERT(action must be taken immediately)
    2: LOG_CRIT(critical conditions)
    3: LOG_ERR(error conditions)
    4: LOG_WARNING(warning conditions)
    5: LOG_NOTICE(normal, but significant, condition)
    6: LOG_INFO(informational message)
    7: LOG_DEBUG(debug-level message)
So, when I get any messages... I'm a little concerned. Because the RVS-4000 thinks it's an Error or better.
What I would like from Cisco is the meaning of all level 3 or lower email messages my Router can send to me. So, that I can take the appropriate actions.
I know Cisco inhered these Small Business Routers. When they bought Linksys. However, they have not discontinued them totally and they are still for sale. And Cisco has released a new version 2 of the same Router. So I believe Cisco should support them as well.
Yes, I'm a pain to Cisco. However, I think you understand I'm being scared by my Routers messages to me... And would like some relief.

  • Polling messages based on priority in BPEL using JMS adapter

    Hi All,
Is it possible to poll the messages based on the priority in BPEL using JMS adapter?
I could set the priority for the messages but while polling it is picking the messages in FIFO(First in First out) order. But I want the messages to be picked on priority.Any help is appreciated.

Do you only want to pick up messeges with a certain priority? So anything larger than say priority 2?
You can try this: Oracle JCA Adapter for JMS - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0)
Message SelectorThis field is also optional. It filters messages based on header and property information. The message selector rule is a Boolean expression. If the expression is true, then the message is consumed. If the expression is false, then the message is rejected. For example, you can enter logic, such as:
JMSPriority > 3. Based on this, messages with a priority greater than 3 are consumed; all other messages are rejected.
JMSType = 'car' AND color = 'blue' AND weight > 2500
    Country in ('UK', 'US', 'France')

I use t-code CO01 to create Production order. At the first screen I select material 72 and plant HJW1 .At the Header creen,I input the data in the General tab and press return but the sap show the error message "No routing found".But I have create the routing for the material 72 and plant HJW1.I don't know why the sap found no routing. So my question was how to found the reason about why the sap can not found the routing and how to resolve this problem.Thank you.

    Hi,
Probably you would have created the routing today, with valid from todays date. But the order you are creating may be with start date in past and system is not able to find and valid routing for the day.
I would suggest you to remove both the Basic "Start" and "End" and change the scheduling type to "Current date Scheduling", now enter. If system still not finding the routing, use the function "Read PP Master data".

I've developed asynchronous BPEL services, which will post messages in AQ (Inbound), the same service will liston response from Out queue.
Currently my service is consuming all messages, i want to consume only relevant response message based on the correlation Id.

  • CCMS monitoring for SAPconnect based on Error Message Numbers

    Hi,
We are trying to use the CCMS monitoring to produce alerts for SAPconnect based specific Error Message Numbers for emails for example, however the monitoring function or data collection method for SAPconnect (BCOMAL_SXDS) does not provide that level of granularity.  Has anybody faced this same problem and can provide a recommendation for this?

    Hello,
You can see the message details in SE91.
In FI, you can control the message number in OBA5. Normally message numbers are issued like this
    AA165
First two digits (alpha) is called application area next digits are called message number.
Sometimes, you may not be able to see the messages in OBA5, in such case you need to go to OBMSG transaction code and include the message number to your application area, then you need to come to back to OBA5 to make it information / warning / switch off / error (as the case may be)
