when i try to bundle my documents it says:

what am i doing wron i use to do ok with the cs5 external content bundler.

Had the same problem, you need to delete your InDesign Preferences

Indesign problem using content bundler 'internal communication error'

Hi I have been working on a project using adobe Indesign Cs5 and digital content bundler beta version and have an error message that is preventing the bundling of a publication. "Internal communication error. For more information, see ErrorLog.txt in the application storage directory". On the forums it appears a solution was provided by Bob Levine but I cannot locate the thread where it was written.When I open the error log file it says ERROR UKNOWN PRODUCT
Any help would be most appreciated as i have been working on this content for quite some time.

Cheers Bob, I believe you but when I go to download it cuts out. I think there could be a problem with my pre release account. I will give it another go but I think I could be in for a long weekend )-: whats that saying, when it rains it pours. I will get this drop 11 even it kills me! Have a great day in the big apple.

If your referring to an issue with the "content bundler" i suggest asking in the pre-release forum.

I believe I was speaking about the Adobe Conetent Bundler's issue in MAC before. Just wondering if you guys have the same problem or not.
It keeps saying: Invalid value for parameter 'to' of method 'rasterizeDocumentPage'. Expected File, but received Document.
I would really appreciate if you could help me... It is frustrating to jumo into PC everytime I want to upload my project.

Adobe Content Bundler, unfortunately, works only to Dropv11 (may 2011).

Adobe Content Viewer problem. Please Help me...

Hi after updating online. Folio, I tried to update the trial version of the publication on my iPad but I get this message: "the issue isavailable for dowload, but new signing for an application version. Update the application from the App Store. "I went to the AppStore and was not any update of the Content Viewer ... I deleted the version on my iPad I downloaded again ... but without success gives me the same problem ... Please help me ... how can I do??

As discussed in numerous threads already, the new viewer has not been approved by Apple yet.
If you’re a pro or enterprise customer you can create your own viewer app. If not, you’ll have to wait or roll back to the older tools.

How to debug file content conversion problems?

Hi,
I'm trying to debug a file content conversion problem. I'm mapping a few nodes in an IDOC to a file of fixed length fields. I'm using the "<Node A>.fieldFixedLengths", "<Node B>.fieldFixedLengths", "<Node C>.fieldFixedLengths", etc. parameters to specify the fixed length records.
However, a certain node (for e.g. Node B) is causing a problem and if it is present in the IDOC, the output file does not get created. Upon checking the XI monitor, I notice that the file gets mapped correctly and thus the problem lies when the file adapter does the file content conversion. How do I debug this because there is no descriptive error in the XI log? If this node is not present, the file gets generated fine.

Hi,
If your SXMB_MONI shows, success status, then go to RWB->Message Monitoring->Message display tool and then check Audit log for the analysis,
So it wil help you debug the situation.
If there is no error, then check RWB->Component Monitoring->Adapter Monitoring for you file communciation channel..

Content protection problem

Hi. I've got that content protection problem when downloading from blackberry app world. Every time I try to download something, a message comes up that says, "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Client. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again,". I'm sure a lot of people had this problem and many of them have had their problem solved, but i've already tried solutions like disabling the encryption and doing the battery pull but the message still comes up.
Are there any other solutions that I can try?

Adobe Content Bundler for Mac

Hi everyone...
At work I have PC and Mac... I have started downloading all adobe publishing suite for PC and once I wanted to download the Mac version, there was nothing available...
Could you please help me to find mac software for Adobe publishing suite? Or if any of you guys still have the source files, I would really appreciate if you could email me at [email protected]

If your coming from the Pre-release.. the content bundler is still available to download from the pre-release site. It is an Adobe AIR application, thus it can run on both mac and PC. If your not coming from the pre-release you can access the download page from inside Indesign. When you open Indesign check the "folio builder" it will tell you if you have the plugin installed of if it needs to be downloaded. From there folio creation is extended onto the DPS dashboard or your Acrobat.com account. There is no "content bundler" in the final release of Adobe's Digital Publishing Suite-- it was from the pre-release.

Digital Publishing Suite is no longer on Adobe Labs. If you are using the tools that were provided through the public prerelease, they are likely out of date and you are recommended to try the content bundler provided within InDesign CS5.5. Others may be able to provide you with more support in the dps forum.

Extended Content type problem

Extended Content type problem
I want to extend the content type 'ExtendDocument' from 'Document'.
So I use 'Oracle Internet File System Manager' to create a new Class Object named 'EXTENDDOCUMENT', which is extend from 'DOCUMENT', and add a attribute 'EXTENDURL'.
This Class Object's bean class is 'ifs.beans.ExtendDocument' and server class is 'ifs.server.S_ExtendDocument'.
I create these 2 java class and put the class files to ORACLE_AS_HOME\ifs\cmsdk\custom_classes directory.
As I want to set the object type as 'ExtendDocument' when uploading a file which expend name is '*.wmv', so that need to change 2 default value 'ParserLookupByFileExtension' and 'IFS.PARSER.ObjectTypeLookupByFileExtension'
So I add 'name=wmv, datatype=STRING, value=oracle.ifs.beans.parsers.ClassSelectionParser' to ParserLookupByFileExtension.
And then add 'name=wmv, datatype=STRING, value=EXTENDDOCUMENT' to IFS.PARSER.ObjectTypeLookupByFileExtension.
After done above actions, i restart my oracle application.
I use CUP to upload a test file 'test.wmv' to CMSDK repository, and its type is 'EXTENDDOCUMENT'.
But if I use FTP or WebStarterApp application to upload 'test.wmv' file to CMSDK repository, then its type is 'DOCUMENT'.
Why and how to change to make FTP and WebStarterApp application can upload *.wmv file's type as 'EXTENDDOCUMENT'?

I would try doing it this way. Try including entries for the mime mappings in the deployment descriptor of the web application.

Drop 11 Content Bundler - iPad not showing updates ?

Using drop11 tools.
The content bundler works fine, and seems to upload the updated files.
The iPad app does not show any updates.
Any thoughts? Thanks.

The webpage you give as an example is very slow to load, possibly due to the animated ads and the top banner that can't make its mind up when to appear. It loads clumsily in Safari on my computer and Safari on my iPad so I'm not surprised it has trouble in the in-app browser.
It loads much faster once I've refreshed it a few times, in order to get it cached. But the first load is the deepest.

Does anyone know where is the Digital Content Bundler and Viewer that Adobe promised to release in the summer of 2010 for Apple Ipad so that people can create interactive digital magazines like the new Wired issue?

InDesign & Adobe Digital Content Bundler (Question about this products)

Hello Everyone!
I was searching for tools to create interactive presentations to my Ipad and found that creating .issue/.folio files and loading them with Adobe Content Viewer was a great way to do that.
I just downloaded the trial version of inDesign & Adobe digital content Bundler (from adobe labs) and loved the end results.
BUT...
Will this feature be discontinued as a stand alone and only be availabe as a part of digital publishing suite?
Will I be able to publish .issue/.folio using only Indesign to create my presentations?
Just to remember... i DON'T want to publish/sell my .issue/.folio bundles. I would like to create presentations using this tools and manually load them on my ipad.
Will that be possible?

The workflow for content bundler seems to be so much faster than folio builder. Will we still be able to use content bundler when the pre-release program ends?
