Content DB features not in OCS

Is there any plan/roadmap to reintegrate the additional features of Content DB into OCS Content Services?

have you tried re-starting OC4J_Content. in some instances this solves the issue. in any case, this should not happen in the production release. pls contact oracle support services for further investigation.

The headings under Tools are: "Pages", "Content", "Forms", "Recognize Text", "Protection", and "Sign & Certify". There's also a little icon in the upper right that lets me access some other headings under the Tools menu; those are: "Document Processing", "JavaScript", "Accessibility", and "Analyze".
I did think about the idea that maybe the Content Editing was a new feature of Acrobat XI, but I found some resources online (http://www.wikihow.com/Edit-Text-in-Adobe-Acrobat) that seem to indicate this was a feature on much earlier version (the link references Acrobat 8 at the bottom).
Really confused...

When I tried to login I am able to login but getting the following message:SP2-0575: Use of Oracle SQL feature not in SQL92 Entry Level.
After loging, when I tried to "SELECT SYSDATE FROM DUAL;" I am getting the following error.
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Can somebody please help me ?

this error may be related to glogin.sql files content, what are the outputs for these -

Exact same thing is happening to me. Couldn't find where to view the Itunes version number after a quick look. I hate the "simplified" interface by the way. On windows 8.1. Really starting to hate itunes, very buggy, and apple device locked down content (I'm looking at you TV shows and Movies) make it a pain to use.

N95 - MMMenu Feature Not Supported

I have recently bought an N95 and today I just tried to do a few basic changes to the settings and it's completely messed up my Multimedia Menu.
All I did was add a few applications to the multimedia menu like Web, Tools, Radio, etc. But after I added them it immediately crashed. None of the apps I'd added appeared on the menu, but you could still scroll through them, like the icons themselves were invisible.
Now when I press the Multimedia button all I get is an error saying 'MMMenu Feature Not Supported' and I can't access the menu at all. For a new phone, this is very annoying.
I have tried restoring the factory settings but to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this stupid thing working again?!

It seems you have somehow messed up the applications.
Goto the NSU page and update the firmware, or if there is no update, re-load your current version.
This will leave your phone contents as new.

In Portal Content admin Role "Portal content" folder is not displaying

I created a user in EP and assign Only Content admin Role. But in portal content area "Portal content "folder is not displaying.
Can someone help me the process steps to achieve it?

It is because the user has no proper permissions to the porta content folder.
you should give atleast read permission to the portal content folder to the content_admin role or to the users who have content admin role.
also make sure the end user check box is checked at the time of giving permissions.
Otherwise give eevryone group as read permisisons to the portal content folder. then you can see the portal content folder with read permissiosn only.

The Favourite Content Portlet could not be populated.

I am new in PORTAL, I made an Instant portlet which was working fine. But then started an error occuring when I view the Portal Page:
"The Favorite Content Portlet could not be populated. Error Message ."
This error is show in a dialog box when ever I view page or navigate to other tabs(subpages) of portal.
When I diagnose I got that this error is in "Main Navigator". If I delete the Main Navigator from Portal this error does not occur. But without Navigator subpages(tabs) cannot be visible.
This is the case when I make new INSTANT PORTAL.
Please Help urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.0.2.2) with the 3.0.9.8.2 patch (this patch should be
available for NT/2000 this week). Also, the database should be
running 8.1.7.1 (or later), as explained in the iAS release
notes.

"Content account is not defined" error while trying to checkin a document

Hi, all
I am running ECM integration samples included on SDK (included on file ContentIntegrationSuite_10gR3_20081218.zip, folder "oracle-cis-10g\samples\CodeExamples\src\java\com\stellent\cis\sdk\samples"), and I got the error "Content account is not defined. Unable to validate user security." when running the ChekinFile.java sample.
I could successfully run the ServerInfo.java with no problems, and I expected to run the other example as easily as that.
Is there any configuration I must change on ECM to run this sample?

Issue is caused with the way parameters are passed from CIS 8.x onwards where when not giving a parameter that is a required one then it has to be set to blank. Like in the case for dDocAccount setting the value to blank string (i.e. "") would successfully check in the document.
dDocAccount is a required additional paramter that needs to be supplied when checking in contents when UseAccounts=true is set in the config.cfg of the CS.
From the CS checkin page when not specifying the Account it is set as blank which is why the the checkin goes through fine.
This was not the case with CIS 7.6.1 where dDocAccount was not required to pass as parameter even if UseAccounts=true is set in the config.
In case checkins have to be done without giving the Account then add the code for setting the dDocAccount to a blank string (i.e. "") and then recompile the java code and execute the it.
Reason why CIS 7.6.1 did not show this behaviour is since CIS would set that (the value for account parameter) in the binder and pass it to the CS.

Content server is not running.

All,
I have rather peculiar issue. The external 10.1.3.1 content server is setup against EBS 12.1.3.The content server is running fine and I was able to upload content using it. I fail to upload content all of the sudden until EBS is bounced. Nothing changes on content server side and again it works for day or two and stops and throws "Content server is not running" error. Is there any EBS configuration that can cause this behavior? I do not even see the request being logged in default-web-access-<date>.log on content server that indicates that it is not even reaching content server. It works fine in TEST environment and in PROD it is behaving in this manner. This is a new setup.
Any pointers are appreciated.

The fact that bouncing EBS fixes the issue temporarily indicates that the problem is most likely on the EBS end, but we haven't encountered that specific issue. What OS are you using to host EBS? Are you purging the J2EE cache when you bounce the services?
Feel free to reach out to Anne or myself if you'd like to dive into this. We could test with an alternate content server to see if that helps isolate the problem.

I have made a master reset of my Nokia C5-00.After that I am unable to open my built in Facebook application.It's showing error as "Feature not supported". Because of it my facebook - mobile contact sync is also not enabled. How to resolve it ?

Error in Test Connection - Content Repository does not exist

Hi, I have created a content repository which points to our own external HTTP content server which is a DMS through transaction OAC0.
In transaction CSADMIN I can see our server's status as running, still it shows yellow icon "customizing missing" in CSADMIN and in transaction OAC0 whenver I click "Test Connection" it gives the message" Content Repository does not exist". CMS 106.

Enter the following fields in the u201CChange Content Repositories : Detailu201D :-
1) Content Rep. :- ZO (Content Repository Name)
2) Description :- Content Repository
3) Storage type :- HTTP content server.
4) Version no :- 0045
5) HTTP svr:p :- IP or machine name of application server on which DMS has been deployed : Web port of the application server on which DMS has been deployed.
1) Program :- sap/sapDocView.jsp
Save the created Content Repository by clicking on u201CSaveu201D. We are working on SAP 4.7 versionon a SAP development server and the content repository has not been transported after creation. Will not transporting be causing this error ?
