Content edit area is blank

After opening the program with a template ... i do not see any content in the edit area on clicking the thumbnail representing a page in the left pane.
If i try changing the orientation, i am able to see the content being rearranged to the new orinentation.
Clicking on the content area reveals nothing.
The content seems to be there as the tools seem to change relevantly based on the content being pointed at (assuming the content being present based on the thumbnail)

Can some one help me overcome this problem.

The fact that it flashes the correct rendered page indicates to me that iBA is doing what it should, or at least trying. But then when it is blanked, I wonder if something on your computer related to PDF handling, as an example, is jumping in.
I'm prone to think the issue is particular to your environment, but I don't want to start you on a goose chase, so I think you should contact Apple and make it their problem for now.

There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.

Contribute Locking out editable areas

I am having a very strange problem that I am hoping someone
can help me with. I have a site set up with a Dreamweaver template
in which the main content area is an editable area. When I open the
pages in Contribute it is still an editable area unless there is a
bullet list, then it is still in a green editable area box, but
gives me the "you can't edit this" mouse pointer and cannot be
edited. If I got in and remove the <ul> ... </ul> from
the html the area is editable again.
Any help would be wonderful, I am going crazy here.

I've bolded 3 items: the first is the template's end point for the editable region; the footer should not be editable. The 2 changes show in the empty <p> above the footer div, and the addition of style attribute in the "webguy" paragraph. Contribute should not have allowed those changes (I think they were made without the user even knowing about it). The blank <p> tag broke the layout, forcing the graphics abart and adding a blank line.

Content editing in Alui 6.5 Portal using Publisher 6.5

We currently use Alui Publisher 6.5 as our content store and all requests for content change go through Web Masters. We are now being asked to offer content editing to the end user via the Portal. I'm currently looking if Publisher 6.5 has any out of the box portlets that would allow a user to edit their content right in the Portal. Either by providing a edit icon for each portlet rendered on the page that when clicked will invoke Publisher wysiwyg editor. if someone has done something similar please let me know.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your requirements, but users can edit the published content portlets, without going to publisher explorer as long as they have the right permissions on publisher explorer and portlet. This can be simply done by clicking the pencil icon at the top right of the portlet and clicking edit.
You can test it like this:
1/ Create an announcement portlet (use the announcement portlet template)
2/ Add the portlet to my page or community.
3/ Click the pencil icon at the top right of the announcement portlet (if you hover over it it's called "Edit Administrative preferences".
4/ Click the Edit button next to configure this portlet.
5/ This will bring up a pop up with the rich text editor specifically for that portlet. Go ahead and edit, then click finish.
6/ The portlet will automatically republish and on page refresh the portlet will display the edited content.

I am trying to activate all the infobjects in BI 7 for the Plant maintenance, QM and CS. While simulating the activation, I get the message:
"Cannot install BI content, Objects are missing"

Content Editing Add Text Format (How do I change the default, currently/always "Minion Pro")

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, Creative Cloud Subscription
When I use Tools > Content Editing > Add Text
Under the "Format" section/box the font type default is "Minion Pro". It's always Minion Pro, irrespective of the font of the document I have open.
I've tried everything in the recommended help, including directly editing the Registry, but everything seems to be focused on the default text of the "comments."
What's the fix? Should I just make a copy of the font for Arial, rename it Minion Pro, and copy it over the existing Minion Pro (or reinstall the renamed Arial font or something)?

There does not seem to be a way to set the default. In fact, when I when to the edit text and selected some text, it came up in Times Roman and when switching to Add Text, the font was blank. Initially, it was Minion Pro as you suggested, but not after the edit text step. That probably does not help, but I suspect there is no default setting that you can use.

In a content editable page right clicking within a div highlights all content within the div

Open the following page in firefox. In a separate tab open another page, highlight some content and copy it. Move back to the original tab and try pasting the content. Whenever you right click in the area which is within the div tags the whole content between them gets highlighted.

I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do.

Can't find the content editing tool in Adobe Reader XI

The website lists XI as being able to edit content. I have checked all of the help topics and they say that it should be under tools. But all that is listed is: Export PDF, Create PDF, Send Files, and Store Files. Do I have to download the content editing tool? How/where do I do that?

strange enough some of the pre-installed apps on the N70 are on the memory card and not the phone memory. which means formatting the memory card will remove everything. it's difficult to get everything back but try these :
1- try to find what you need on the n70 support page

2- if you have the download app installed on your phone , run it and check for the app there.if not check the nokia download store. http://www.download.nokia.com/
3- if your mamory card is not the original provided with the phone, locate your old memory card. using a computer copy and paste the following folders from the old original one to the new one:

* private (copy the subdirectories only and not the whole folder)
4- if something is still missing after all this, i guess it's gone for good

Issue after Migration: ID and Content-ID are different in SOAP Payload

Hi Experts,
I am facing a strange issue in the PI landscape after the migration from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1.
The scenario is from R/3 system to TIBCO System (Proxy-to-SOAP). The TIBCO system receives the file in SOAP Format. The message is sent from PI via SOAP adapter to TIBCO System.
There is a attachment coming from the R/3 System along with the main message and the main payload/message has a "attachment-ID" as a field. Earlier what used to happen in XI 3.0 that the "Attachment-ID" used to equal to the "Content-ID" when the SOAP payload was generated at the TIBCO end. Now after migration, in PI 7.1 the "Attachment-ID" and "Content-ID" are different. We have control over the "Attachment-ID" as it is coming from the source payload but we do not have any control over the "Content-ID" as we are not creating it.
Can anyone of you please let me know how the SOAP Payload is created and how the content-ID gets populated in the Header of the SOAP Envelope? Also, can anyone help me to fix this issue? Is it something which needs to be handled by us or the BASIS Team?

I create my own SOAP Header if I apply the solution provided by you then will the rest of the details in the SOAP Header payload will change or do I need to customize it for myself? For e.g., there is a field named MessageId in the SOAP Header. If I write a Java Mapping, do I need to manually populate the MessageId field in the SOAP Header of my java code or will it be automatically populated?
My requirement is to change only the content ID of the SOAP Header Payload and the rest of the fields should remain the same as it is. Is it possible with the approach that you mentioned above?

My edits are not being accepted or saved

I am having issues with editing a PDF file, scanned from paper hardcopy and then edited in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I am able to edit fields either via Content>Edit Text, or also have tried using Recognize Text and OCR Suspects function on this document. I am able to find the highlighted text I want changed, make the changes by overtyping the values, but, when I the "Accept and Find" button, the old values reappear and my edits do not take or save. What am I missing?

You are very likely not using ClearScan as your OCR, but searchable image. The latter will always display the image and not the text that you have edited. At least that is a guess.

The headings under Tools are: "Pages", "Content", "Forms", "Recognize Text", "Protection", and "Sign & Certify". There's also a little icon in the upper right that lets me access some other headings under the Tools menu; those are: "Document Processing", "JavaScript", "Accessibility", and "Analyze".
I did think about the idea that maybe the Content Editing was a new feature of Acrobat XI, but I found some resources online (http://www.wikihow.com/Edit-Text-in-Adobe-Acrobat) that seem to indicate this was a feature on much earlier version (the link references Acrobat 8 at the bottom).

Add Editable Area to HEAD Tag?

I am working in DW CS 5.5.
My site has a base template and then a nested template for the Work pages.
I'm trying to make the items in the vertical menu bar of the Work page editable attributes. When I select Modify > Template > Make Editable Attribute then set Attribute to class, enter a label name and set type to Text I get this error message:
"There are no editable regions in the HEAD tag to insert the template property tag into. Please add an editable area to the HEAD tag in the base template and try again."
I'm confused because I do have an editable region in the head. What am I doing wrong?

Hi... Sorry for delay. I've been away working.
I have just completed another software update as prompted again, and I'm still having problems.
Nearly all my software won't open. It doesn't matter if it's relatively old software I brought over from my last Mac or new software I've purchased from the App store within the last year or two. It always says whatever software I'm trying to open has "quit unexpectedly"
My Mail, App store, Stickies and Safari seem to work, but most other things won't.
I've run a verify disk permissions and a repair disk permissions, but this message appears... Maybe it is a clue to the problem if you understand these things:
