Content Filter block attachment .scr/.cab etc... not working inside archive

Hi,
We have trouble that Content Filter for blocking attachments executable, scr, and cab is not working if .exe, .scr, or.cab are inside 7zip, zip or rar archive.
How deep inside attachment ESA goes, if any?
Antivirus config is set to 5 and some viruses passed like CryptoWall as .scr and .cab.
So, we are blocking that extension but this time they were inside archive.

I apologise for the inconvenience.
Currently if there are viral definitions within the attachment, the AV engine would be the first line of defence, if you for some reason notice some viral attachments bypassing your ESA, please open a TAC case so we can escalate the sample to Sophos for you to capture.
As per content filtering.
The scan depth on how deep it will go into a system is defined in 'scanconfig' in the CLI.
This will show your current recursion depth.
As per .cab and .7z attachments not being properly captured if .scr or .exe are inside it
Currently there are some Enh request to allow the unpacking/decompression of these archive files to capture things inside it, at the moment the request is still undergoing review.
As a temporary measure you can proactively send .7z and .cab files to the quarantine for your administrative review --
The ESA will however be able to seek the executable should it be shrouded inside the .rar/.gzip and .zip archives however.

If you mean, does Mozilla have paid staff you could phone or email, the answer is "No."
Is the problem with a feature of the Yahoo! mail web page itself, or the Yahoo! toolbar?
General advice:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* click the padlock or globe icon in the address bar > More Information > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].

Spam blocker in Outlook 2010 is not working.

I go into the program and add to the list of domains I want to block. It just does not work.
I am blocking them by going into Junk via opposite mouse button and then options and the Block Senders tab and then I click on add.
I add a domain as @donotwant.com click apply and then OK.   I see it in the list even after I close Outlook and go back in.
Yet the emails are still ending up in my junk folder from that sender!!! I have seen this problem mentioned by others on the web.
If this is a bug in 2010 then it should be fixed!! if I am doing something incorrectly, please inform me.   Is there a possible space being added to the end of the string by Microsoft that I can not see but is causing the problem?
(I can not believe that the programmer who wrote this stuff would not use a trim string command to avoid the issue)
(My gosh from a programming standpoint this should be easy for Outlook. Compare the list of blocked addresses to the incoming new emails and block the ones that match it on the list. I think a Junior High School programmer can handle it.
The kid would certainly Use an INString command to pull the domains that are blocked.)
Not blocking these is really annoying. I would appreciate any help offered.

Hi,
This is the default behavior for emails sent from blocked senders in case some users want to check the email in the Junk Email folder.
If you want to permanently delete emails from a domain senders, we can set an Outlook rule to do this. Please follow the steps below:
1. Click on Home tab > Rules >
Manage Rules & Alert
2. Click New Rule…
3. Select “Apply rule on message I send”, click Next button.
4. Tick the check box before “with specific words in the sender’s address” in the
Select condition(s) box. Click
specific words and type @domain.com (you need type @donotwant.com) in the box and click
Add button. Click OK.
5. Click Next.
6. Select the action “permanently delete it”. Click Next. Click Next.
7. Make sure the option “Turn on this rule” is selected. Click Finish.
Now, all emails from @domain.com will be permanently deleted.
In addition, we can consider to set block list on the server side to prevent the emails sending to your mailbox.

Does the error occur in OS X 10.9? If not, why not remain at OS X 10.9? Is it necessary to run OS X 10.10?
The general rule of thumb is that when you are running software that is no longer tested or supported on a new operating system, you have to prepare for anomalies like this. You may want to install a separate bootable hard drive with OS X 10.9 on it so you can continue running that software more reliably.

Sending E-mail with attachment within a loop not working.

I'm trying to send e-mails with attachment to multiple users with "subject & an attachment" within an ITAB loop.
SUBJECT for each mail to corresponding user is being sent properly.
But ATTACHMENT contents are not being sent properly.
1st ATTACHMENT contents are going to 2nd user(supposed to go to 1st user) & 2nd ATTACHMENT contents are going to 3rd user etc..
in almost all attempts, last ATTACHMENT contents within the loop were delivered properly to the last user.
As a test, I'm debugging by sending with same "SUBJECT" & "ATTACHMENT CONTENTS". still it's not working.
Following is the code for sending mail with same "SUBJECT" & "ATTACHMENT CONTENTS".
I even refreshed the file contents for each record within the ITAB. Greatly appreciate any help.
assume that ITAB has a field GROUP with values 501, 502, 503 & 504.

Now, it's working after I changed attachment file name (user name) with ITAB-GROUP.
but, I'm not clear on why it was not working even if the file name is same in every loop, as I'm unassigning the file contents and loading new contents at the start of each loop.

Enforcing attachment to process level not working

I am trying to attach attachments (doc, pdf etc) at process level from task form but it goes to task level some how. I was able to verify that by looking into WFATTACHMENT table.
UI side

I am making sure attachmentscope is going as 'BPM' not 'TASK' by binding to my own managed bean and set scope to process level.
This is working because if I do URL instead of desktop file then URL attaches to process level. I verified this too by looking into WFATTACHMENT table.
So not sure why
addAttachmentBean.uploadFile no matter what attaches pdf, doc etc attachment to task level and also notices that WFATTACHMENT table has row for this record with taskID as something like f76a60ad-53f2-40dc-ac75-af53d64854e4 instead of taskID as process instance Id like 4000001.
I am using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.6.0 PS5.
Attaching URL to process level from a task is working but from the same task attaching real doucment to process level goes to task level.
I am not using UCM.
I really appreciate any inside.

Finally, I was able to solve this issue.
Project was migrated from Oracle BPM PS4 to Oracle BPM PS5 so some how human tasks created in earlier version were not working in new version for new functionalities (adding attachment to process level). When I deleted these human tasks and recreated in newer version. Everything started working great.
I am not sure it is Oracle bug issue or what....

Content Area in a page Template should not be inside a h:form

In my template page I have some buttons which reside in a <h:form> tag. If I place a Content Area somewhere inside the <h:form> tag, the ACTION methods of the buttons DO NOT WORK!!!!

AFAIK there's no practical way to do what you require. Sorry. This is one of the many downsides to Framed sites. It also makes bookmarking and printing pages difficult. Not to mention user unfriendly from a web accessibility viewpoint. Re-think your need for Iframes throughout an entire website. The best websites use one complete page for each topic. Index, About Us, Contact Us, etc...

Gmail attach file icon does not work

Is there a way to fix this problem? I tried network.http.spdy.enabled to false. No go. I tried resetting all the settings in ie, per a suggestion somewhere, no go.
Safe mode - does not work.
This problem seems to have come from no where. I can drag files into gmail, but the attach file icon does nothing.
Attach file icon works in IE, but I am trying to use Firefox.
Is there a fix or do I need a new computer?

I also have this problem. It just started today out of the blue. Whenever I hit "attach file" in gmail, I never get a "file explorer" popup. Simply nothing happens.
* I'm running 31.0 on Mac 10.8.5.
* I have tried resetting firefox several times. I've tried restarting in safe mode multiple times. Nothing will allow the window to appear.
* I've tried various (old) fixes I found through searching (mostly involving about:config settings) but none worked.
* Drag and dropping files onto a note DOES work (but this is no solution!).
* I have cleared the cache several times but to no avail
* I don't have the stomach (or time) now to completely uninstall and re-install. Not yet anyway.
* This function works fine in Chrome and Safari
I finally went and UNCHECKED popup blocking. Now I get the file popup immediately! So it would seem that somehow Firefox is blocking the file "finder" interface as a popup. What gives?

Adobe Reader 'Attach to Email' is not working

I have a client that is running Windows 7 and when opening a PDF with Adobe Reader is unable to use the "Attach to Email" function. We tried this with Adobe X, Adobe 9.3, Adobe 9.4.2. None of these will work. An error occurs: "Acrobat is unable to connect to your email program." We get the same error on any of these versions. For some reason Adobe 9.3.4 upgrade does not install with 9.3, where I read in a resource discussion that this version should work ion Windows 7.
Adobe Reader X seems to be a known issue with Windows 7 for this problem. My client recently upgraded from Windows XP and did not have this problem on that OS. A current work-around is to save the PDF then attach it to an email, but she would greatly prefer to use the Attach to Email function within Adobe Reader without having to save the PDF and manually attach it.

I have the same issue using Acrobat X and Thunderbird 3.1.6 on Windows 7. Attach to email function is NOT working.
It worked when I had outlook 2007 installed, but I couldn't find where to change the setting to thunderbird.
I uninstalled outlook. Now the attach to email feature won't work at all.
Thunderbird is set to the default email client in windows . . . this is extremely annoying!!
File > Attach to email . . . It appears this feature doesn't work with any emails client except outlook??????
Attach to email worked on WinXP for Lotus Notes 8.5 email client (maybe an older Adobe Reader, version 9.4), but not after we upgraded to Win7. No Adobe Reader versions we have tried will work on Win7 for Lotus Notes.

Hi Everyone....I figured it out. Strangely, although I had NEVER used Liquify in PS CC 2014....I just realized that in Liquify Advanced Mode that the "SHOW MASK" option was on by default! I unchecked SHOW MASK. Everything is OK. Whew! Tks!

Control key copy and paste, etc., not working

I have just purchased a T440S Thinkpad. I am alarmed that Ctl + C and Ctl + V do not work. Also, I cannot use the Control key in combination with + and - to zoom in and zoom out. The Control key in combination with the letter i does not italicize a blocked word. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Will Lenovo technicians be able to provide a fix for this serious problem? David

Is this the case for both CTRL keys (you have a CTRL key on each side of the space key) or is one of them working?
If the right CTRL key is working and the left CTRL key isn't, are you sure you didn't swap the Fn and CTRL key in BIOS?

The graduated filter in my Lightroom 4 is not working properly.

When I highlight the area I want to change and start making adjustments (and the black dot is in the circle), the whole photo changes. I have used this tool successfully many times in the past and don't understand why it stopped working. Ideas?

The black dot is in the circle that shows where the graduation filter is being used. When I use any of the sliders to change what I highlighted with the graduated filter, it changes the whole photo, not just what I selected.

Block External email to DG not working

Hi,
I have enabled "Require that all Sender are authenticated" for a DG group to restrict external email coming to this address but it is not working.
I have tested this with different DG and have same issue.
Also when I restrict the DG to accept email from specified users in our domain it works fine internalyy and block it for usrs which are not in the list but still accept email from external domain.
Does this have anything to do with "Receiver connectors"?

Did you create a new distribution group to check if the issue persist?
Did this distribution group migrate from Exchange 2007 or former?
In previous versions of Exchange, by default, no recipients were configured to require all senders to be authenticated. Therefore, any distribution groups that we migrate from a previous version of Exchange won't have this restriction configured.

Hello, I have spent four days and half of those nights trying to get this accursed thing to properly install and run. The damned thing indicates that it was successfully installed, but would not work and all programes that needed it, kept telling me I needed to instal it. Also, it appeared in my installed program list, but had no file size against it.
I had an hour on line with my Norton Tecnician, having suggested to him that Norton may be blocking it. He allegedly diconnected Norton and tried it, then told me the problem was not Norton.
WRONG!
I uninstalled it again for the millionth time, opened my Norton 360 and temporarily turned my Anti-virus off for 15 minutes, I then installed flash again and immediately re-set my Norton. In my case:
PROBLEM SOLVED!!
ps; I was signed in ( my username showing at top of page), but this forum would not display any button to add a reply or start a thread.
SOLUTION: Signed in again. Crazy or what?
