Content filtering 2 Vlans with different policies

Anyone know of a product that will allow me to have 2 different policies (examples: whilelist for Vlan1 and categories for vlan2?) on an IOS router? None of the products I find have the ability to do this (websense, Netsweeper, M86, Etc..) Makes no sense. If Cisco would let me define more then one active content filter I should be able to direct traffic to two different filter servers and make this work. Even better we would like a single filter server to understand the Nat table and the traffic coming from a router so it can discern between vlan1 policy and vlan2 policy.

I'm not sure what you are saying, since when I run Windows XP in Sun's Virtual Box I put it on my second monitor, when I want to do something in it I mouse over to it, click and I'm there. When I finish doing whatever, I mouse back over to my primary monitor and click on whatever Mac program I want to use, and I'm there. Just like switching back and forth between one program and another, which seems to me to be about as convenient as anything could possibly be. What more do you want? It sounds like your emulation program has a keyboard shortcut you are using to switch between them, which doesn't sound particularly arduous either, and it may have a preference somewhere where the switching method can be defined. Since my VM supports mouse integration, I can even option-click out of XP into Mac, and the XP window hides altogether so I can use both monitors in Mac, as usual. To bring XP back I just click on its window in the Dock. I guess I just don't understand what you mean by "independently"--do you mean you want the guest OS to use both monitors?

Problem finding docs using content index in DB with different charactersets

Problem explanation:
DB version 10.2.0.1 SE on windows
database characterset AL32UTF8
I am creating following context index:
create index myindex on g(Content)
indextype is ctxsys.context

and with index as defined above queries find absolutely nothing for both latin and latvian texts.
As soon as I've added another column "cset" in the table and filled it up with AL32UTF8 I can find latin characters for the same cases as in db above.
Index in this case is as follows:

charset column cset');However the problem is that for latvian characters it can find only UTF-8 encoded text files, but not doc and xls files and that's absolutely not OK.

So the question is - is there any possibility somehow to create the content index that it is possible to find also latvian specific symbols in doc and xls files in DB with characterset BLT8CP921?
Of course the ultimate solution would be to recreate db with AL32UTF8 characterset but I'd like to avoid that if possible.

I have applied performance tuning steps, like JAVA_POOL_SIZE, SGA_MAX_SIZE, increase table spaces size and change some other DB parameters. After applied, problematic index has been created without error and application is running fine without any error. Many thanks for your prompt suggestion, by which I could narrow down my problem. So, as my problem has been resolved, so please close this thread.

in this case we don't have enough budget t get WLC device....mybe use the autonomous ap....i use the linksys wireless routes as AP that connect to switch and create the VLANs 10 and VLANs 20 in the switch 2960, the switch connect to router 1841 that will ensure vlan connect each other.

BBSM and Content Filtering

Is it possible to force web requests from a BBSM through an upstream (authenticated) web proxy running (which performs web filtering). I'm getting the impression that this isn't directly possible unless WCCP is utilised. The BBSM uses ISA server as its proxy server, but it's not clear whether this configuration can work in a chained proxy environment to provide filtered public access. Is this possible?

Thanks for helping. I have attached the config-file. (Username and pwd for PPPoE has been edited though).
The box came with firmware version 1.0.15. I upgraded to the latest version 1.1.42 in an attempt to solve the problem, but the behaviour is the same between these two versions wrt. the problem at hand.
When trying to open up web pages that I perceived as "haning" or "blocked", they appear to be working now.
Maybe that was "wrong user observation" :-) Nevertheless, the "Content Filtering" still has to be enabled to let anything at all through, so that observtaion is still valid. The default config is content filtering disabled. With this config, the firewall will not work "out of the box", and it is tricky to find why.
Another observation I made is that when making one PPPoE profile, it is not possible to open this for editing. It works when you have two or more profiles. But as long as you have only one profile, it can't opened for editing. The workaround is to make a second profile.

Server 1 and server 2 are communicating through ironport.( and also scanning)
Server 1 we have setup domain abc.lk and yy.abc.lk in same server, this reside on DMZ. same segment ironport is connected,
Server 2: we have setup separate server int.abc.lk which is resided on internal lan.
Server 1 and server 2 should have to communicate internally, but server2 should not communicate to outside the world (eg. [email protected])
How do I create "Outgoing Mail Policies, Outgoing content filters and the individual content filters?
Note: Now server 1 and server2 are communicating internal and also communicating external ([email protected]), I need server 2 not to communicate external ([email protected]) it should be block and also do not block server 2 communicating to server1

I think the simplest solution is to create a filter that allows server 2 (based on it's IP) to communicate with the internal domains, and drop the messages when they are targeted to any other domain
so:
filter source IP = servers
condition: message to: is NOT abc.lk or yy.abc.lk
action: drop message

How to asign some content filtering policies to a wan port ISA550

Hi, I have a Cisco ISA550, and we are trying to make some url's rules for the network. I have established a policie, with some content and url's, but now I need to asign them to a configurable wan port. What I have do is:
1. Go to firewall and open content filtering policies
2. Generate a new filtering policie. (named: diarios)
3. Load the policie with some URL (all are enabled with the tickets)
4. go to Policy to Zone Mapping and change the LAN zone. Now using "diarios"
5. Content filtering turned ON
6. Go to Advance settings and configure it.
everything saved and it works. But now I need to asign this rule only to wan port #3.
Can someone help me please?

Open the Trace Log panel in Scout - it shows you all the trace messages for the selected frames (in a console-like view). If you select all frames, you can see all trace messages for the entire session.

How do I use iTunes on one computer to manage two iPads with different contents?

I just bought an iPad Air 2 and want to use it with iTunes on my MacBook Pro. No problem so far! However, I want to continue to use my "old" iPad 2 for my wife and want to keep managing it as I always have using iTunes on my MacBook Pro. The thing is that I want to make it possible for the two iPads to have quite different content to allow for the different needs and tastes of my wife and me. How should I go about this?

I took a look at it but it seems to be aimed solely at "media" on an iPad, i.e. movies, music, TV shows etc. This is fine, but I also want to be able to deal with all the apps on each iPad too, so that when I connect each iPad to my MacBook through iTunes, the synching process works just like it always has for my first iPad (an IPad 2). I don't mean that I want all the apps on both iPads to be the same (my wife doesn't need all the apps that are on the iPad 2 at present), but I do want to be able to add/remove/update media and apps on each iPad, and update the iOS on each iPad.
Basically, I guess, I want a situation whereby when I plug in either of the iPads, iTunes recognizes each as a separate device and has a totally separate "library" (backup?) of music, movies, TV shows, etc. and — most importantly — apps. Is that possible?

Confused about synching multiple phones to the same computer with different content: itunes wants to erase everything??

I have had an i5 for some time, but my partner just bought one to replace her 3GS. We both synch to my itunes, and have been doing so for as long as I can recall. When we got her i5, we backed up her 3GS and reloaded the content into her i5. So far so good. Now, this couple of weeks later, I decided I wanted to put some of the movies, music, etc. that I have on my itunes library on her phone. I had previous installed some of the apps that I have there without trouble. However, when I tell my itunes to put movies (etc) onto her phone, it warns me (upon apply) that this phone has been sync'ed to another itunes, and that I can do what I am asking, but it will erase everything on the phone now! I cancelled this op at this point.
As far as I know neither of us has sync'ed her phone to any other itunes, although she has probably downloaded stuff directly into the phone using the onboard itunes. Is that what it's warning me about? Is there any way to either pull the content off the phone, or merge the content with what she had locally downloaded? If not, I'm willing to sacrifice the few things that she had locally loaded as long as it's not going to, for example, erase all her photos, and contacts, and everything else as well at the same time!
This is all rather confusing to me. It's actually rather confusing that one can synch multiple devices with different settings at all, and I'm extremely surprised that it works at all. Can someone clarify what's going on here? What I should/shouldn't do? What I can/can't do?

First make sure you have authorised the iTunes computer you are using for all of the associated apple ID's via the Store Menu>Authorise this computer and enter the apple ID and password used on the phone (repeat for as many apple ID's are in use on the phone).
Then right-click (or Control Click) on the name of the phone and select Transfer Purchases (this can also be found under File>Device>Transfer purchases). This will back up all of the purchases on the device to your computer, then when you sync with the phone it will put them back on even though it has just removed them.
Its a round about way of doing it but she shouldn't loose anything as long as the computer is authorised for all of the apple ID's used on the phone

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

Can you add to the Lightroom an ability to process several raw files with the same content but with different exposure into the single picture?
Base raw files can be given with exposure bracketing during shooting, for example.
The goal - to get maximum details in darks and lights (if we use the "ligths recovery" or "fill lights" we lose the quality because raw file just have no all required information).
The similar (but not the same, only the idea) thing - is High Dynamic Range Photography in Adobe Photoshop

The plugin LR/Enfuse does this already. And of course Photomatix have a plugin available for Lightroom. This essentially amounts to pixel editing, which is beyond the range of Lightroom's metadata editing.

here i have got a tricky situation on Idoc to File Scenario.
in my interface of an Idoc to file ,there is requirement to create multiple files with different file names but with same content based on one Idoc Segment.
which means there will be one Zsegment with two fields in the idoc,where one field with (content refers to the name which file name should start with .so lets say if this segment is repeated for 3 times then PI should create 3 files in the same directory with same content but with different file names (from the filed).
so here for now iam using one reciever file communication channel.
can any body give me the quick answer.

What do you mean by different names?
when i make proper setting in the Receiver Channel....on how to create the filename (what to append) like add Timestamp, counter, date, messageid.....even in this case you will ahve file with different names and that too from same File channel.
You can perform multi-mapping in XI/ PI and then your File channel will place the files in the target folder with relevant names. You cannot use Dynamic Configuration with Multi-Mapping!
If you intend to use different File channels, then do the configuration as required (normal)...even over here you can follow multi-mapping.
Do not use a BPM!

SharePoint 2010 - Create new site collection in existing web application with different existing content DB

I have a SharePoint 2010 root level site collection SC1 in web application WEBAPP1. I want to create copy of that site collection in same web application WEBAPP1. Apart from Import/Export, Restore/Backup options, will following approach work? If yes , how?
I took backup of content database of web application.
Restored database with different name
Mounted Content database to this WEBAPP1 by assigning new ID to DB
Created new site collection by using this newly mounted DB
Site collection gets created successfully but content does not appear.
Please guide if i can achieve desired functionality by using this approach.

It is because the Site GUID is identical, and each GUID can only be present on the farm once. You can use Backup-SPSite/Restore-SPSite (which is full-fidelity, unlike Export-SPWeb/Import-SPWeb), which will generate a new GUID for the restore Site Collection,
even in the same Web App.

Handling files with different sizes of content (please help)!

I have a written a program to tell customers how much certain apartments are to rent.
It asks the reader to input a floor number and the number of bedrooms in the apartment. I then returns the price.
The contents of the file look like this:
0 400 450 510
1 500 560 630
2 625 676 740
3 1000 1250 1600
the first column of numbers refer to the floor number (0-3) and the following columns relate to the prices of bedrooms. The first is 0 rooms, then 1 room, then 2 rooms.
So a one bedroom appartment on the 0th (ground) floor would be 450.
This program works perfectly for this set of data and returns the correct answer. What i want to try and do is make it work with different sets of data
e.g more floors and moree rooms. up to an unlimited number of both

Synching across ios devices with different content

Hello,
I am trying to assist a user at my company with synching his music content accross his devices using iTunes match.
I want to validate that music pulled from CD from his iOS devices will or will not be deleted.
Basically he does not have his home pc anymre that was used to download many songs from CD and put into iTunes. However, he has an iPad that contains those songs (as well as songs from iTunes) plus an iPod that may or may not contain music from CDs.
We have enabled itues match via his work computer and we saw that it uploaded his purchased songs to match, however when we turned on Match from the iPad, its say that it would replace the songs that were on the device. Our concern is that the music from the CD's will be lost and just replaced with his purchased music.
Essentially, we want the music from iTunes, Cds (on the ipad) and his iphone to all be stored and synced with iTunes Match accross all devices.

I'm asking because my daughter has lots of music and apps on an older device that were purchased using her mom's Apple ID, but is now ready to have her own account on her new device, but would like to keep the music she's accumulated.

How to show the contents of a dropdown list with different colors

I have a drop downlist on my dialog. I want to show each of its text attribute and its back ground with different color.
Suppose I am showing 4 strings in the dropdown like Name1, Name2, Name3 and Name4, then how to change the color of each name and its background.
Please let me know if it is possible.

A dropdown similar to the one shown in "Edit->Preferences->Grids->Colors" having our own text names instead of the default color names.
