Content Missing in Published Captive 7 File

I built a simulation in Captivate 5.5 and qwhen published it worked fine but I have now upgraded to Captivate 7 and saved the file under this version.
When publishing the file from Captivate 7 I find that a few screens are missing data epsecially backgrounds. Even if I preview in Web Browser mode the same bits are missing.
Can anyone please explain why this would be? I may be forced to go back to Captiavte 5.5.

I am using Master Slides throughout the course. One of the screens in question is in the simulation part of the course (all the screens that are dropping data are in the simulation part of the course but not all simualtion screens are dropping data). This screeni is using a blank master slide.

BI server missing BI Publisher

Hi,
I have just installed Business Intelligence 11.1.1.5.0 under Oracle Apps R12 on WIndows xp.
But the BI Publisher apear to be missing from the start programme menu and therefore unable to publisher anyr pd files.
Please any idea will help.

Thanks for the reply Tarmenel. Using the open layout templatae from BI Publisher Desktop should open the XML directly from the server. You are correct that if we downloaded the XML from the server and loaded it manually, it does work, but that's not the goal.
Rainer -- you were dead on. It worked before because the default parameters happened to return data at that time. We changed the default parameters as per your recommendations so data would appear and the fields are now there.

How do I publish Android APK files from CS5?

As far as I can understand you need three things to be able to publish Android APK files from CS5:
1. Air 2.5 or greater (I've downloaded and installed 2.7 beta)
2. Android SDK (I've downloaded and installed)
3. Flash CS5 Android Extension (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
That's right, the last thing you need is no longer available because Adobe is rolling it into the next Flash version. So because I didn't get in on the prerelease with the extension...I'm just out of luck? That can't be right. How do you create APK files from CS5 when you can't get the extension? All of the tutorials out there for creating Android content from CS5 use this simple extension that seems to make everything so easy. What is Adobe's answer for creating APKs out of CS5 if you weren't part of the prerelease? They don't have the extension available anymore so there must be a way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Single block schedule is not a valid publisher-subscriber schedule. In your schedule, AI.OUT acts as the publisher and publishes the data to the network. But there is no subscriber that receives this data. In other word, there is no valid publisher-subscriber VCR.
You need to try schedule that contains at least two blocks and connects each other. One or more VCR will be established.

Couple of things....
If you want to knock out the background in Photoshop and transfer that image (knocked out) to iWeb you'll need to save the file as a 'transparent' png file. In Photoshop select save for web • select png 24 • check the transparent box. Voila. drag that file into iweb and you'll have a knocked out image.
Also, for those experiencing quality problems, while not necessarily easy or ideal, convert your images to flash and post according to the very good instructions found here ( http://web.mac.com/catucker/InsideOutside/iWeb.html ).
Flash images don't suffer the same fate as 'regular' jpegs. The quality you'll get will rival what you see in Photoshop et al.

You change the generate folder and filename in the first field on the first page of the wizard. It must be a folder on your hard disk.
You change the publish folder in the last page of the wizard. Anywhere you like.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

How can I publish an ics file to a remote server from my calendar server?

I am running Lion Server and have Calendar Service up and running. I have an account with a couple of calendars, one of which I'd like to publish to a remote server, as an .ics file.
From an iCal client it is possible to publish local calendars, but not remote calendars (for which the only option seems to be to 'Share').
How can I can I publish an ics file to a remote server? Programatically, if necessary.

I have this working now.

Thanks!!! I had same error (with -49) and the mac had an external hard drive attached.. and it was doing a backup. Stopped, disconnected and the project exported!

It's really more of an HTML issue with the form itself than a Content Server issue.
<form name="cuxCheckinNewPG" method="get" action="<$HttpCgiPath$>">You can't submit files using a GET method. This attribute must be "POST".

Missing page while converting Postscript files to PDF using Distiller 9.

Due to some incorrect hexadecimal code in the post script, one of the pages is not getting created in the full pdf. So, we can say that the page is missing in the complete pdf file.
Here is my snapshot of the issue:
1. Offending command issue on a particular post script data is coming up due to some incorrect hexadecimal data.
2. If I run the postscript through Distiller 8, report is getting generated without any missing data.
3. Whereas, if I run it throught Distiller 9.1.3, Distiller is ignoring the page due to following warning.

So, either way, even if I upgrade my version of Acrobat from 9.1.3 to 9.3, issue doesnt go away. I think the new Acrobat Distiller is buggy and introducing new problems when compared to Acrobat Distiller 9.
1. Works fine Distiller 8.0
2. More problems with 9.1.3
3. Lesser problems with 9.3 but I cant upgrade to 9.3 unless i see all the missing page problem going away.
Can someone urgently look into this?

I am calling Distiller using command line.

report.dst contains the the names of the post script files.
(I have already contacted Distiller server forum and I was told to post the request in Acrobat forum)

My Idoc structure.
ISU_EL34
     IDOC 0 to unbounded
          E1ISU34 1 to unbounded
               ZSEGMENT 0 to 1
I have applied the content conversion for the length specific file as follows.
Recordset structure: VO,1,C1,1,S1,1,H1,1,D1,,D2,,U2,,UC,
Do I need to do any changes over here to satisfy the above file structure.
V0 and C1 occurs only once in a file.
for S1 I should have H1 compulsory and others are optional, but i need to create Idoc when D1 data is available only.
I'm able to read the total file with the above content conversion.
MY requirements:
1) I need to create the Idoc based on the occurance of D1 node. I'm using H1 data also in the idoc not S1.
2) My doubt is whether the content conversion I have provide is applicable to the structure I have prepared.
3) When I'm trying useOneAsMany function for the above ie H1 data should repeat in Idoc as and when D1 repeats.I'm failing the error is both queues are not contain same number of data..
Could anyone suggest how I should approach for the above scenario.

In which Im using the data of H1,D1,D2,U2 and UC for creating target Idoc.
Every H1 contains at least 1 D1 record, If D1 exists D2 ,U2 and UC may or may not exist.If exists those are in a sequence and should consider the data of them to create Idoc.
Idoc should be created for every D1.
Problem facing:
Do we have any mechanism to group the D1 records to the relevant header.since Im unable do this with content conversion.
I think bcz of above problem; some records (D2 & U2 & UC) data is populating in Idoc even there is no D2,U2 and Ucs.
