Content missing with the new framework
Hi Experts,
We have developed a Theme with New portal Framework page and applied to the portal for the end users, when we are assigned the super admin role to the same user is not displaying the Default Portal Content pages in the roles (like Content admin and System admin).
We have removed the detailed navigation iView in the new portal Framework page.(because we dont need it on the home page).
We are working on NW 2004s SR1 portal
Any help can be appreciated.

Hi Sudhir,
Check if you also removed TopLevelNavigationiView from your Frameworkpage.
As this is the entry point to Roles like Content admin and System admin.
If not compare DefaultFrameworkpage with your custom Frameworkpage, to find out the differences and fix them.

Does Captivate content work with the new standard, Experience API (xAPI)?
I have developed SCORM conformant courses, but my current customer-base does not use a Learning Management System (LMS). The eXperience API (xAPI) tracks user experiences using a Learning Record Store (LRS) rather than an LMS.
According to Adobe marketing, Captivate 8.01 (which I have) publishes content for use with xAPI. The Captivate help does not include any directions or assistance on xAPI.
Has anyone used Captivate products with xAPI and an LRS? Can you point me in a direction to find out more information on this??
My fear is that this will require far more programming experience (xAPI is open source) than I have.
Thanks for any suggestions!You can publish the Captivate project as xAPI output by going to Edit > Preferences > Quiz > Reporting and selecting TinCan from the Standard dropdown list.
However, Captivate can only track the same elements as that of a SCORM output even with TinCan.

my old pc was running low in memory and i don't have enough space to back up in order to instal iOS5. so i got a new pc, installed itunes on it but when i tried to sync my iphone on the new pc, it said it'll erase all contents on my iphone and sync with the new pc which has no contents. it says iphone can only sync with one machine.
can you pls helpSyncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your phone. Only if you back up your phone manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in iTunes and transferred your purchases.

You can also back up iTunes and restore it on your new computer How to back up your media in iTunes , but the iPhone will be erased anyway during the first sync. -
I have a honda civic with USB port which allows play back of my old iPhone 4 and 4s. With the new iPhone 5 the radio shows the phone is conected but does not show any music content. Any Suggestions?
You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

There are adapters available that convert micro cards into fullsize ones.
You will also need a USB card reader if you do not have one.

I missing photos after syncing with the new iTunes, are they in the cloud and can I get them back?

Help with Consuming a Webservice with the compact framework

i want to consume a SAP WebService within .NET in a smart device application. When I create the proxy, I get the following procedure in the .cs class:

When I compile the project I get the follwing error for each occurance of the "Form" Attribute :
"<b>'System.Xml.Serialization.XmlElementAttribute' does not contain a definition for 'Form'" </b>
When I try to consume this webservice with a "normal" kind of application, such as a windows-application, everything is ok.
But when trying to use it with the compact framework, the error occurs.
Is anyone outhere who can help me?

RegardingsIt seems that the "Form" property of the XmlElementAttribute was missing in Compact Framework 1.1. It does exist in Compact Framework 2.0.
You can try removing the "Form=System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaForm.Unqualified" entries from the proxy, but I'm not sure of it will still correctly work: For in-parameter it should be Ok to skip "Form=", but for out-paramters and result it could have the effect that no data is received.
In this case the best option may be to upgrade to Compact Framework 2.0. -

I have recently updated my computer since my old one broke and therefore had to download a new iTunes. When I came to add my iPod to this new iTunes, I was given no option to transfer the contents of my iPod library to this new iTunes and was forced to try 'sync'; when my old computer was repaired once we lost all of our data so I had to download a new iTunes then,all of my iPod downloads were transferred and I could easily reburn my CDs so I didn't think the wiping of my iPod would be a problem. When I clicked 'sync' it warned me that it would replace the contents of my iPod with the new iTunes library, as I said I didn't think this would be a problembut then it asked if it should transfer my recent iTunes downloads so I said 'yes'. The sync was completed but now I only have 4 downloaded songs and 5 albums which I burned to my new iTunes! I have lost all the music I bought, all the videos I bought and all the audiobooks I bought! (Luckily I still have my apps.) I tried to restore backup but realised that only covers calendars, contacts E.T.C and I checked my iTunes account and that shows all my downloads but I can't see a way to restore them or anything like that!
Please help! I am in despair as you can imagine how much moneys worth I have lost and am losing faith in AppleCorrect. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Have changed my apple Id to a new email address. its all working fine on my PC and also on come up with the new ID on my icloud page on my iphone but when i try to buy something from itunes etc on my phone, the log in box still contains the old id.

It doesn't sound like you "changed" your Apple ID, sounds like you created a new one. Bad idea. All content bought with an Apple ID is forever tied to that ID. The ID that bought the content is the only ID that can update the content. Apple does not merge IDs not does Apple transfer content from one ID to another. -
Can't get my Music off of my iPhone 4...
My computer died & had to get a new one, so now I cannot sync my iPhone 4 with the new computer, without losing all of my Music, because the only Music I have is on the iPhone 4 only, not on the computer. No Backup anywhere : (
If I choose to sync it tells me all of the Content that does not match the iTunes library on the computer will be erased, do you want to proceed & I have to say no.
How do I replace the music library on my Computer with the Music on the iPhone?
I got my pictures off because you can access them when you connect the iPhone using Windows 7 but you cannot see any of the music so you cannot access it when using windows so don't know what to do...
Help...The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer.
