I launched content player configuration page using the url "http://hostname:portnumber/lms/mediator/config".
Page got displayed but I am getting the script error " _htmlbMessageBar' is undefined " and " Object expected " in the browser status bar.
Also HTMLB components in the page like table, tab, buttons are not displayed.
Functions are working fine. Only the look and feel is not proper.

Have you correctly defined the call structure? Remember the client to be populated in the call structure should be the client where the CCM catalog resides. Also, the catalog id must match that of the published catalog in the CCM client, maybe paste the call structure in here so we can see how it looks.

Unable to play Content in Content Player: Proxy Authentication req
Hi All,
I have my repository manager
(LSOContent) created in portal.
I am able to upload content through
portal and also through Authoring
Environment. But when I try to play the
content in portal.
It shows the error.
Caused by com.sap.hcm.is.shared.repository.access.RepIOException: Error with Object: /LNetname/v1/IooMapping.txt, Http Error 407:Proxy Authentication Required
Also when I try to check the content
player configurations thru the url
http://sapepdev.intra.sasref.com.sa:500
00/lms/mediator/config
The check shows succesful to R3 but
says not ok to repository.
This is strange to me.
I even checked in Component
Monitoring,my repository manager does
not show any error and shows green.
I even tried with the sap standard
repository documents with the url
http://sapepdev.intra.sasref.com.sa:500
00/irj/go/km/docs/documents
Even for the standard one the check
shows NOT OK.
Could anyone please give an idea as what might be wrong here?
Thanks for the help

Hi All,
We are in the process of upgrading SAP to 6.0. We also upgrade our LSO from 300 to 600 including the Authoring Environment and the Content Management System. Now, after we publish the course via the Authoring Environment/Repository Explorer and try to play the course from our portal, it gives an error saying Incomplete or Incorrect Data. Here is the actual error

I have looked at the R/3 configuration and everything looks good there. Is there anything else that needs to be done for the LSO upgrade?
I did notice that a lot of people have posted the same issue in the forums, however I haven't seen the solution being posted. Any help/suggestions regarding this will be appreciated!
Thanks again.Hi Kavita,
In general, this issue can occur when the course is created in the learning portal and the course doesn't exist in the path of the CMS.
Please try the following:
1) Please try another course to see if this issue still happens.
2) Try restarting only the content player to see if this corrects the issue.

LSO Content Player Error - HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found
Hi All
Please could you assist.
I have published a course to my ISS CMS and configured the links in both ECC and J2EE lsm/mediator.
Result
Username='username', SystemName='HRD', Client='030', Host='22.22.22.22', Language='EN', SystemNumber='00', EnablePoolSharing='true', MaxConnection=50, AbapDebug=false:
CPCFG.RSURL = http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content/
CPCFG.REPUS = username
ServerURL=http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content/ ok!
I was able to successfully publish the course from the Authoring Environment to the CMS server.
When selecting the starting the course from the portal with content player i get the following error.
HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found
But the URL is referring to - http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator/courseview?sid=8685627505550088697845288091101&language=EN&sys=HRD&client=030&sap-accessibility=X
How does directory http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator get created when the content is in http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content ??
Secondly can I change this reference to my LSO600/Content directory.
Please advise with any information. Point will be awarded.
Regards
MaahirDear Maahir,
We are facing the same problem. We are pointing over CMS to IIS, instead of KM content of portal. We are successfully able to release and publish the course, then attach to a course participant also.
But. When participants logs into the portal and click on Start Now. It giving 404 file not found Error. Its the same error. All our Course and content pointed to CMS IIS Server Url.
When we did the content player config test, result is NOT OK. We have required R3 authorization and CMS user authorization also with admin rights. Content Player console is working in AE when we start up the course. Its showing the error.
So, it seems like content player is not working properly. Bcoz we are launching course from http://WEBDAV repository server maintained in back end system. Which is the IIS(CMS Server)for us. Do we need to maintain anything separately to launch a course from IIS Server on R3 and SAP Portal. Below sample URL from page.
http://Sever:port/lms/mediator/courseview = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Could you please us know, how did you resolve the issue and tell me the cause of this issue.
Thanks and Regards

Hi all,
I have a problem when I started a WBT course in SAP Learning Portal.
We are using the ECC 600.
The Content Player shows the error 404 Not Found.
I don't know how to check a log of this issue.
I was checking the config in the IMG, I was trying different optiones but nothing. I couldn't.
Could you help me please?
Regards,
JorgeHello,
Error 404 has many reasons try contacting your portal consultant.
this may be the reason
When communicating via HTTP, a server is required to respond to a request, such as a web browser's request for an HTML document (web page), with a numeric response code and an optional, mandatory, or disallowed (based upon the status code) message. In the code 404, the first "4" indicates a client error, such as a mistyped URL. The following two digits indicate the specific error encountered. HTTP's use of three-digit codes is similar to the use of such codes in earlier protocols such as FTP and NNTP.
At the HTTP level, a 404 response code is followed by a human-readable "reason phrase". The HTTP specification suggests the phrase "Not Found"[1] and many web servers by default issue an HTML page that includes both the 404 code and the "Not Found" phrase.
A 404 error is often returned when pages have been moved or deleted. In the first case, a better response is to return a 301 Moved Permanently response, which can be configured in most server configuration files, or through URL rewriting; in the second case, a 410 Gone should be returned. Because these two options require special server configuration, most websites do not make use of them.
404 errors should not be confused with DNS errors, which appear when the given URL refers to a server name that does not exist. A 404 error indicates that the server itself was found, but that the server was not able to retrieve the requested page. -
Content Player / Policy Configuration component login modules
Problem using Content Player u2013 HTTP 401 errors, not authorized
Because of security concerns, we have modified our login Policy Configuration component, u201Cticketu201D to no longer use the login module u201CBasicPasswordLoginModuleu201D. We use the login module u201CSAMLLoginModuleu201D instead and direct our users through our Shibboleth based identity provider.
We now are having a problem with the Content Player. We have configured it in http://<server>:<port>/lms/mediator/config with connection information including a username and password for both access to the ABAP system and the CMS user. We also have set SNC.
With the BasicPasswordLoginModule removed, we get HTTP 401 errors, not authorized. We see this in a pop-up window when we try to run a WBT course and we see it in the trace files.
When we put the BasicPasswordLoginModule back in place, we can access the course.
We are looking for a way to redirect the Content Player to a different Policy Configuration component that we can then allow to include the BasicPasswordLoginModule.
Is this possible?
Where is the configuration defined that directs the Content Player to use that default Policy Configuration component?
Can we change it to use a different Policy Configuration component?
Deb NugentIt appears that we cannot (or should not) redirect the login module for the Content Player to something other than the "ticket" login method. Since we require Content Player, we re-added the BasicLoginPassword Module to the "ticket" method of logon. We knew this would allow Content Player to work. We are using other / additional security measures to ensure no one is directly accessing our systems with username/password.
Thank-you all.

Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation-Error in Content Player
Dear Guys,
when I am playing the content in content player of Authering environment we get the following error "Unable to locate the LMS's API Implementation" ,
Should any API be implemented explicitly?
How can we resolve this error?
Regards,
Shamila.Hi Shamila!
As I mentioned, you need to consult your content developer to debug this issue. In the course content(i.e. flash file) there are references to the SCORM API. These when imported in to AE loose the reference. For instance, if you have something like this .. parent.api.<some scrom function> and the parent (window or frame) has the SCORM API. This reference might be getting broken when the course package is imported in to AE. The content developer need to make changes in the code to ensure the reference to the API is changed.
Please let me know if you require further guidance on this.

mahee.Hi,
You might have given the url of WebDav in ur Backend config for content player.U ll find this link in the properties of the directory in KM content on portal.
There is another link to the KM directory above ur webdav link. Use that URL in the backend config for contenet player.
content player -> specify CMS address
ur issue will be solved. -

RFC 2 FLAT "Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure" MessageTrans
Hello all,
I want to use MessageTransformBean to map an RFC Call to a FlatFile in Receiver Adapter. As it is not FTP I can't use FCC.
Everytime I start the processing I get the error:
com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.trans.TransformException: Error converting Message: 'java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure 'ns0:Z_FUNCTION' found in document', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)''; nested exception caused by: java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure 'ns0:Z_FUNCTION' found in document', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)'
I implemented everything according to [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/24/4cad3baabd4737bab64d0201bc0c6c/content.htm] guide (complex conversion for receiver cc).
I also tried to map the RFC to another XML structure, but the error was the same?
Any ideas?

'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure
Hi, my scenario is very simple, Proxy->PI->File and there is no mapping.
There is a report that sends all the data to PI with the proxy and that works OK, but when the file adapter must generate the file I get the following error:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure 'n:WU_MT_BP' found in document', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)'
The XML can't be wrong because the MT of the proxy service interface is the same that the MT of the file interface.
In the file content conversion I specified all the structures, with fieldFixedLenghts parameter and endSeparator = 'nl'... I checked those parameters too and they look OK too...>>Unknown structure 'n:WU_MT_BP
This looks clearly like a content conversion issue.
In file content conversion for recordset structure, have you specified WU_MT_BP?
Is this tag required or it shouldn't be coming in payload in first place.
It is possible that the occurrence of this tag is optional and you may be specified/not-specified content conversion parameters for it.
Thanks
Aamir
