Content removed from iTunes Store?

Around a month ago I was looking around the iTunes store, and found a few things I wanted. I didn't buy any of them, and just completely forgot about them till a day ago. So I go and search for the album and game I had seen, and they're no where to be found on the iTunes store. They just vanished into thin air. Some other things seem to be missing as well, but I can't put my finger on it...
So what did they do with them? Do they often remove content from the store? Or Am I just going crazy?

Things often get removed when the licensing arrangements change.
For instance last Novemeber, NBC stopped selling all their TV shows in iTS.
Also it is easy to make a wish list so you can get back to things quickly.
If they disappear from the wishlist, they've disappeared from the iTS.

I manage a band who has never been signed to a record label however, they had a distribution deal which has since expired and the company went under. Apparently they put a CD up of my band on iTunes Store and items look to have been purchased as the Popularity "meter" is maxed out on some. Well, if you didn't keep it in your iTunes library, on your computer, & then back that data up, you're out of luck if it's no longer available in the App store.
Apple warns to backup your purchases for this very reason.

Finding nemo removed from itunes store again??

I noticed Finding Nemo was available on december 4th. I went today to purchase and it was removed from itunes/not avaialbe & did not show up when searched.
Why did this take place?

Hi all,
I upgraded to iTunes 11 recently and have now purchased some additional content from the iTunes store. The files have been downloaded but do not show up in my library. A search yields some results but I cannot access the songs in my library nor can I add them to 'up next' although the option is available from the search results menu.
First thing I tried was to add them again manually but the problem persists. Any clues?

OK, I found a solution. Here it goes, just in case anybody else comes across this issue:
I deleted all the relevant entries from the iTunes Libary.xml AND iTunes Music Library.xml files (with iTunes closed, of course) and removed the files on the harddrive library structure to another location. I then restarted iTunes and added the album manually to my library again. In my case, I got iTunes to handle my library and the files were thus copied back to my old structure by the iTunes. To finish I reimported the album artwork and that was that.
Hope that I won't encounter this issue with future purchases under iTunes11, this workaround IS a bit of a hassle!

I recently moved podcast feed to a new site. From Podomatic to Wordpress.
Is it possible to have the old feed restored to the iTunes Store? So that the Store uploads episodes from Podomatic.

Reason for this request is that the old feed gained popularity on itunes and showed up under other similar podcasts as a suggestion to listeners.

Since the Store is using the Feedburner Feed, and that is working from the WordPress feed, you can go into Feedburner's settings and change it to using the Podomatic feed. The change will take a few days to show up in the Store though subscribers will see it immediately.
If you wanted the Store to work directly from the Podomatic feed rather than the Feedburner one, you would have to add a special tag to the Wordpress feed as explained in this page:

It's the Store page which is significant in this regard, not the feed from which it is drawn; there is no need to change the feed from that point of view, though I note that there are differenced between them so you may prefer the Podomatic version (however the large image included in each episode tag will not appear in iTunes).

Can't update apps or download content from itunes store

I have a large itunes library and I sync it with 2 ipads and one iphone.
But I can't download content i bought from itunes store or update my iphone/ipad apps.
It says (directly translated from swedish) : Can't download, xxx not authorized. Please check your internet connection.
I use a MBP with Maverick, iTunes and all other software on computer and phones are up to date.

TS1566 How to remove an incomplete download from itunes store on iPhone?

I have recently purchased an HD movie from itune store using my mobile. Being a 16 gb iphone4 with numerous other aps and playlists already cluttering the phone, I had no room for downloding the 4.8GB movie file on my phone. Hence I constantly see the movie being attempted be automatically downloaded which throws up an error.
I have already downloaded the movie on my home computer and do not wish to download the movie on my phone. And most certainly want the incomplete movie download to be deleted.
How do I do it. Is there any way apple can stop the file from reflecting on my phone?

You don't have any choice but to restore your phone. If the phone is still working, be sure to back up your contacts first. Since iTunes can't read your phone you can download the app My Contacts Backup, which will back up your contacts as an email attachment. Send this email to yourself; you can later open it on your phone and tap the attachment to re-import your contacts if necessary. When done, click on Restore (on the Summary tab) and let iTunes do its thing. Be careful to watch the progress information at the top of iTunes as well as your iPhone screen so that you do not interrupt the restore process until it is completes.

Podcast Removed from iTunes

My podcast has been removed from iTunes, and I don't know why.
If you were to do a Google search, you can easily find it, and the following link is provided:
itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/arc-light-stories/id404452832. However, if you open that link in iTunes you are told that the podcast no longer exists.
Is it permanently gone even though Google can still find this link?
The feed for the podcast is arclightstories.com/podcast/feed.xml, and it has been working fine.
I've been using Podcast Generator to create the feed and send it to iTunes.
Is there any way to restore it to the store without losing my subscribers?

Your podcast does appear to have been removed from the Store, There's no real way of knowing why - it might even be an error - a quick look at the feed suggests that it's unlikely that it's a matter of unacceptable content or copyright violation.
You could try emailing Support at podcasts 'at' apple.com but you likely won't get a helpful answer, in which case you will have to re-submit it as a new podcast. You will need to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted, and it's a good idea to keep the feed filename.
Your subscribers can still see your feed - the Store is not involved once they have subscribed - and you can move them to another feed by following the instructions here:

Not all audiobooks sync, even ones from itunes store!

I have a pile of audio books, some from the itunes store, some as mp3's converted to m4b, and some from audible.
I have free space on my iphone, all music is set to be synced, and when i click sync it transfers files, however some audiobooks dont sync.
I have like 13 in itunes, and only 9 sync, 1 i bought from itunes store syncs, and another i bought from the itunes store does not sync, along with some audible and some converted ones.
I recieve no error, when i go to my audiobook section of my iphone they are simply not there.
I can plug my phone back in and click sync, sometimes it then shows me it is syncing one of the ones that it didnt sync before, but this time my iphone itunes sais "No Content", and i have to unsync and resink my whole freaking libary.
Now these files that dont sync, are real, they work, and they used to sync before.
Anyone have any ideas why itunes is not syncing everything.

Reggie, are these audiobooks you purchased from iTunes, or that you ripped from CDs?
If they're from CDs, you may find them in your music (use the book title as the album title) rather than in the audiobook section.
