Content tab will not open

When trying to manage my pop-ups under the Content tab I'm finding that the tab will not open. All the other tabs will open, but when clicking Content, the previous tab's info stays on the screen and the Content tab's info (Pop-Up Blocker, etc) doesn't appear.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

When I attempt to open a new tab by clicking the "new tab" button on the tabs bar, the tab will not open. Can this be fixed and how?

When I open my Firefox browser, the normal 1 tab comes up. But when I attempt to open new tabs with the "new tabs" button, a new tab will not open. I have also tried right-clicking on the tabs toolbar but tabs will not open. The only way I can get a new tab to open is by right-clicking on a link and selecting the "open new tab" option in the right-click menu.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13 version. Disable that extension or un-install it.

Well, it is showing as being install in the version of Firefox that you posted here with.

Probably caused by an extension, or a couple of extensions that are in conflict with each other.

Maybe you should reset all preferences as there seem to be a lot that have been modified (e.g. network.http and plugin.expose_full_path should have the default value). If you haven't changed them yourself and don't know what they are about then you should leave them at the default.
You can delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.

Find tab will not open in FF25

After installing FF25 the find tab will not open. Cntrl +F or F3 does not open any find tab. Click on edit, scroll down to Find, click; nothing.
Even downloaded FindBar Tweak to no avail.
Using Win Vista.

I've been using Firefox for several years and just ran across a problem within the past two weeks. I usually have several tabs open at the same time while browsing the Internet. Suddenly, when I tried to open a new tab by clicking on the "+" tab at the top right of the screen, a new tab would not open. Then I tried clicking on "file + new tab" and a new tab still won't open. In addition to the above:
Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

Can't access mail, contacts, calendar tab will not open

I can not access my emails. I updated my password on my PC and tried to updated my password for my email account on my iPad but when I go to the account settings page and tap on "mail, contacts, calendar" tab it will not open. I have the original iPad and every since I downloaded iOS 5 I have had all sorts of glitches on my iPad... Frustrating...

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. There are two options to assist with the issue, Reset All Settings or backup and restore the device and setup as new.
To Reset All Settings on the device: Settings > General > Reset All Settings

Additional tab will not open for links

previously i have been able to click on a link, and the link would open in a new window or tab. but now whenever i try to open a link through a website, it will not open the link in a new window or new tab. how can i fix this?

Hi ArletteGH, I'm not sure which one of these is the better description of your issue:
If you Ctrl+click or middle-click a link:
* Firefox creates a new tab, loads the link in that tab, but the tab stays in the background rather than being made active (default behavior)
* Firefox creates a new tab, but doesn't actually fetch the page until you make the tab active
* Firefox creates a new tab, but the tab and address bar stay blank, as though the address never got transferred to the page

Tab will not open when I click on url or short url in TweetDeck after v6.02 udpate?

After updating to v6.02, when I click on a link in TweetDeck for Windows (v0.38.1), the url or short url will not open in a new tab.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

"compose" tab does not open. it stays on the last tab that was in effect before.

Please help! Looks like Mozilla customer service can not help me at all!!!!!! I need to know why I can not open a link to a new window. I can only open in my tab. I hate it. If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
