ContentAgent not found error OR qmasterd not running error in Compressor

Hi guys,
I have problems with Compressor 3.0.1 (related to qmaster i guess). i red many articles around about "qmasterd not running" or, "ContentAgent not found" error message on Compressor.
I tried to run it from apple qmaster in the preferences system but the same problem. i tried to launch qmasterd in command line ... no success. I erased anything with the name qmaster or compressor (preferences, Applications support, Receips, repaired authorisations, etc...) and made a brand new install from the original DVD).
Before doing that, compressor wasn't even lauching successfully. After this re-install, it is running but i get these errors from one or the other side. I can say that i erased all related files with attention but still do not understand what to do!
on my anotyher mac (intel based 2x3GHz dual core) everything is running fine.
Do someones know what can cause this ? what should i do ? i prefer a solution without beeing obliged to reinstall the whole config!!! oh no!
Thank you for your help, even a small one
Best Regards
Sam

I told myself: let's do it once again and this time ERASE ALL
In my last try, i had forgot to erase compressor.framework folder with all its contents.
Now, it is working just perfect, even the cluster between both computers

  • File Not Found Error running JSP demos

    I'm not sure what is going on, but it appears that every time I try to run a jsp, the server looks in the document root where it errors out with a file not found error. I've seen others with this type of problem but I haven't seen a solution. Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks.

    1: Double check the port number that your Tomcat Server is using. (TOMCAT_HOME/conf/server.xml).
    2: check you IP. This is not the 'localhost' IP (not sure if it is LAN or real IP). So it may change dynamically.
    3: Check for Firewalls. Also, since you are not using localhost, you will have to make sure you traverse all the firewalls built around your system. If you have a router (home), windows XP, or some other firewall, make sure the appropriate ports are opened. If you are behind a corporate firewall, or your ISP closes ports... your kinda out of luck until you find a way to cheat around them.
    2: Try just using just "/ValidateUser.jsp" as long as it is one the same domain as the Form. This will make it less likely to break, should your IP change.

    Quicktime gets a file not found error in running of set up.  tried downloading twice

    Hi Spex,
    I can import the VI Logger task OK (from another PC running VI Logger 2.0), but I can't run the task.  I've attached the file.  The "1 channel" task runs OK.  The "x-probe" task starts, takes 1 or 2 data points, then hangs for a few seconds, then pops up the "file not found" error. The data acquisition taks run OK, so I don't think they're the problem.
    This file I've attached includes 2 good data tasks ("1 channel" and xprobe"), 1 good VI Logger task ("1 channel"), and my non-working VI Logger task ("x-probe", which works fine on the PC it was exported from).
    I have also tried exporting the non-working VI Logger task on its own, and it still imports OK, but still doesn't run, and gives the same error.
    Thanks,
    Jake

  • "file not found" error in VI Logger when running an imported VI Logger task

    I'm having trouble getting all of my imported tasks to run in VI Logger.
    I'm using VI Logger 2.0, with an SCXI-1100.  The data acquisition tasks I import run fine.  One of the VI Logger tasks I've imported runs OK, but the other one gives an error:
    "Engine Error!
    Error Code = 7
    LabView: File not found.  The file may have been moved or deleted, or the file path might be incorrectly formatted for the OS."
    If I create a new VI Logger task, the new task works OK.  And my 1st VI Logger task to be imported works OK.  So I know my setup mostly works.  But our company has never been able to figure out importing tasks very well, so I'm looking for help.
    Question 1: What file is LabView looking for?  I've checked my Export path and database path, and they are identical in both the working task and the non-working task.
    Question 2: Where else might I look for the difference between the 2 VI Logger tasks?  Neither task uses any weird characters in the name, both have analog input channels and calculated channels.  And I've mixed and matched the data acquisition tasks with no change (the good VI Logger task will run with either data task, the bad VI Logger task won't run with either data task), so I'm pretty sure the problem is in the VI Logger task, and not the data task.  I've also tried importing the 2nd task on its own, as a separate import function, but that gave the same error.
    Thanks for the help in advance,
    Jake

  • File not found error on some computers running the same program

    Dim pList As System.Diagnostics.Process

    I have created a program which:
    opens a file
    reads the records and massages the records
    writes the records to a new file
    Launches a program that uses the resultant file.
    The program was written on Windows xp MCE using Visual Studio 10. The resulting program works fine.
    I places The executable and the input file onto a flashdrive, and then tested it on other machines.
    Two of the machines are both Win 7 Pro 64bit with .Net 4. On one machine it works great. On the other I get a "File not found" error when starting the second process. This is the failing code:
    The problem is with the Shell command. When I rewrite it as:
    it works on both machines
    So my question is: Why does exactly the same code (The same flashdrive was used on both machines) work on one machine and not the other (when both machenes appear to be at the same level)?
    In both cases I verify the file exists in the correct place before I try to start it.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
       John

    The use of F is just an example. I use:
    OutputPath = My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath 'Where app is run from (root)
        'Make sure the path ends in \
        If VB.Right(OutputPath, 1) <> "\" Then
          OutputPath = OutputPath & "\"
        End If
    to get the correct information.
    Then
      PTRName = OutputPath & "myprogram.exe"
    BTW "myprogram.exe" is not the correct name it is just an example.
    Sorry if this caused confusion
    However all of this is not the point. If:
     My.Computer.FileSystem.FileExists(PTRName)
    is true then the file is in the right place. Therefore:
    Retval = Shell(PTRName,4)
    must also work. However it does not on some machines.
    Is the problem in .Net, VB or VS because it is not in my code.
    I have also used a routine similar to you (in VB6) to find a particular volume, but used the volume label. That worked better in my case.

  • Jar not running is sarge and apache-ant  shows error of package not found

    Hello,
    First of all I am not a java programmer. I work in C/C++/C#.
    Currently I am dealing a game written in java (1.5) using netbeans 5.5.0 under windows xp. My target is to compile in my development machine and run in the clients machine. everything works fine in windows xp. I open the netbeans ide, load the necessary class libraries, build the project and run it. it runs without any problem.
    The problem begins when I run the same project from linux (fedora). it doest not run. It shows some error.
    <error platform="fedora 7">

    But when I open this same project in netbeans and resolve the dependencies with class libraries it works ok after compiling.
    I can run it from console (java -jar ...)

    then I tried using ant to compile.
    doing only `#ant compile` where build.xml resides does the compilation.
    after that I try to run it (by java -jar ...). again the above error shows up.
    What would I do?
    If I compile it with netbeans in machine A then it runs well in A but not in machine B.
    If I compile it with ANT in machine A then it doesn't run in A, no chance for machine B.

    There exist several targets which are by default empty and which can be
    used for execution of your tasks. These targets are usually executed
    before and after some main targets. They are:
    -pre-init: called before initialization of project properties
    -post-init: called after initialization of project properties
    -pre-compile: called before javac compilation
    -post-compile: called after javac compilation
    -pre-compile-single: called before javac compilation of single file
    -post-compile-single: called after javac compilation of single file
    -pre-compile-test: called before javac compilation of JUnit tests

    -pre-jar: called before JAR building
    -post-jar: called after JAR building
    -post-clean: called after cleaning build products
    (Targets beginning with '-' are not intended to be called on their own.)
    Example of inserting an obfuscator after compilation could look like this:
    <target name="-post-compile">
    <obfuscate>
    <fileset dir="${build.classes.dir}"/>
    </obfuscate>
    </target>
    For list of available properties check the imported
    nbproject/build-impl.xml file.
    Another way to customize the build is by overriding existing main targets.
    The targets of interest are:
    -init-macrodef-javac: defines macro for javac compilation
    -init-macrodef-junit: defines macro for junit execution
    -init-macrodef-debug: defines macro for class debugging
    -init-macrodef-java: defines macro for class execution
    -do-jar-with-manifest: JAR building (if you are using a manifest)
    -do-jar-without-manifest: JAR building (if you are not using a manifest)
    run: execution of project
    -javadoc-build: Javadoc generation
    test-report: JUnit report generation
    An example of overriding the target for project execution could look like this:
    <target name="run" depends="NetBeansApplication-impl.jar">
    <exec dir="bin" executable="launcher.exe">
    <arg file="${dist.jar}"/>
    </exec>
    </target>
    Notice that the overridden target depends on the jar target and not only on
    the compile target as the regular run target does. Again, for a list of available
    properties which you can use, check the target you are overriding in the
    nbproject/build-impl.xml file.
    -->
    <target name="-post-jar">
    <jar update="true" destfile="${dist.jar}">
    <zipfileset src="${libs.swing-layout.classpath}"/>

    Hello,
    I am trying to run my annotation processor using ant.
    I already built the processor, the javax.annotation.processor.Processor file is in the correct place with the correct content.
    The jar with the processor is in the classpath (i can see it in ant -v), but it does not process my classes. in fact, i get the warning:
    warning: Annotation processing without compilation requested but no processors were found.Do i have to specify -processor or -processorpath or can i just leave it to the default classpath scanning?When -processor is not given, a service loader is used to find the annotation processors (if any). In addition to the class files of the process, to allow your processor to be found as a service, make sure you've also provided the needed META-INF data in the jar file. The general service file format is described in
    http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/util/ServiceLoader.html
    That said, I'd recommend setting an explicit processor path separate from your general classpath.

  • MiniWAS not running error: Xuser not found

    Hi I have installed succefully Miniwas in my PC, It work perfectly during couple of months, then suddenly I tried to start application and I could not, I got this error during start batch
    C:\miniWAS> set DBBAME=WA1
    C:\miniWAS> x_server
    18641 Error:XSERVER is already running!
    C:\miniWAS> dbmcli -U db_warm
    Error! Xuser not found
    Error: Database WA1 not started!

    Hi Carlos,
    when you or a script that starts the SAP System
    starts the database with command "dbmcli -U db_warm"
    the MaxDB/SAPDB uses a mechanism to look up so called xusers with entry name "default" to find a user with which the SAP system can connect to the database. this list is OS user dependent. Meaning that if you do a "c:>xuser list" on the command prompt for user OSUserA there are user maintained whereas when you are logged in with OSUserB and do the same thing there are no users maintained meaning you end up with an empty list displaying nothing.
    So my first guess would be that you do not start the system with the user you have installed the miniSAP system because the list is only maintained for the user you did installed the system with.
    If this is the case try to start the system with the OS
    user you have used while installation of. If the current user is the installation user you have lost for some reason the xuser list entries. Then you have to rebuild this by hand with command
    xuser -d <dbname> -n <dbhost> -u <Schema>,<Schema_Password>
    -U DEFAULT -S SAPR3 -t 0 -l 0 set
    of course therefore you have to know the user and password inside the Database to make SAP connect to it.
    Another option would be to install the Database Manager Gui from http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/sap_db_software.htm do a backup of your database. Then throw away the complete system. do a reinstallation of the MiniSAP and then recover the database over the new installed one. This will reset you to have a running system with all the stuff you have done inside the system before
    hope that is of help to you
    Regards Ingo

  • Have an xpcom not found error, reinstall executable does not run!

    I am on Windows Vista, German version.
    I deleted an old folder which I thought wasn't used - unfortunately, it was the Firefox folder, and only some files were deleted. Ever since, I keep getting the error "xpcom not found" when I try to run firefox.
    I tried to download a fresh copy of the installable. When I run it, it asks me whether I wish to run it as the current user, or another one. If I click on "current user", then nothing happens. Nothing at all.
    If I click on the user "administrator", along with my Windows password, then it says my credentials are invalid. I have no other user on my laptop; my current user has administrator rights.
    What do I do, please?

    Hello,
    Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
    '''Note:''' You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
    #Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
    #After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
    #Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    #*'''Windows:'''
    #**C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    #**C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
    #*'''Mac:''' Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
    #*'''Linux:''' If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see [[Installing Firefox on Linux]]. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop Firefox download page], simply remove the folder ''firefox'' in your home directory.
    #Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    ##Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    ##Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
    Please report back to see if this helped you!
    Thank you.

  • Qmasterd not running error message

    I am running FCPS 2 Compressor 3.0.5 and I haven't rendered anything out for about a month.  But now when I try to start up the Qmaster services it tells me that the qmasterd is not running  and to consult my manual for information...I have read and tried a number of solutions and still can't get it up and running.  The only thing that is making me wonder why it isn't working is that I have installed a trial of Avid and also of Premeire Pro.  Could these have screwed up my Qmaster?  If so what is the solution or where can I find the solution online....
    Thanks,
    Holly

    I told myself: let's do it once again and this time ERASE ALL
    In my last try, i had forgot to erase compressor.framework folder with all its contents.
    Now, it is working just perfect, even the cluster between both computers

  • I have a nidaq32.dll not found error. If i have already tried replacing the visa32.dll what else can i try?

    I am working with VB6 on an application involving a PCI-6711 Analog output card. I now am in the phase of working on the install file. I have developed this application on an XP machine, and i am trying to install it on a Windows 2000 machine, but i get a "nidaq32.dll file not found" error when i try to run my program on the 2000 machine. I have looked in the System32 folder and nidaq32.dll is in fact in the folder. I am wondering if my install file (created using INNO installer) didn't register the file correctly, of if it has to do with the driver i am using on the PC. I have NIDAQ 6.9.3 installed on the 2000 machine and NIDAQ 7.2 installed on my XP machine.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Gerry

    Hello GVanhorn,
    The problem seems to be that you have different drivers in the systems. You might want to use the same version of the driver in both machine since that will install the same version of the nidaq32.dll.

  • After closing the Firefox browser, a message appears "Severe error: Cannot load resource file; can not run". What could be wrong?

    The message: "Severe Error; Can 't load resourse file; can not run" appears after closing Firefox4. All other applications on my pc do not have this problem.

    I've found text of this error in npdjvu.dll plugin, remove it and error seems to disappear.

  • File not found error from scheduler

    Hi,
            We have a scheduler file with .cfa extension  in the cf scheduler  which trigger some mails to certain recipients on execution.
    At the bottom option fo the scheduled task, we have checked the option to 'save output to file' and has given the file
    path. On direct execution of the given url, the  file is executed successfully and mails are fired.
    But while trying to execute the same via scheduler it is not firing the mails. On investigation of the output file,
    found the error message 'File not found'.
    Is it possible that the file get  executed when directly browsing the url and shows 'file not found' error
    while executing via cf scheduler?(CF 8 is used.)

    To be more specific,
    the url format given in the cf admin scheduler is like this:
    "http://www.domainname.com/myfolder/myfile.cfa"
    A file path to log the output is also given to publish.
