Contents Menu not displaying
Hi all, I am having trouble viewing a flash help file. I
saved the file to a CD and it works perfect on my PC, but when I go
to another PC the contents menu is missing when I try to access the
file. Has anyone had this problem before? or know what I can do to
correct it?
I adjusted the security with the Flash player and with the
internet settings but nothing seemed to work. I have XP on my
computer and the others have 2000. Can that be the problem?
Any comments or help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Vanessa
thanks everybody. Did take 30 sec and it works! So,
what I did is:
1/ Open the wf_startpage.js file
2/ Search for "fhs" : you locate 'flashhelp_default.fhs"; (or
another selected skin)
2/ change the extension to xml: you now have
"flashhelp_default.xml" (or another selected skin)
4/ search for the flashhelp_default.fhs file itself and
rename it as "flashhelp_default.xml"
It was easy and successful in my case. Tanks again.
Tara!

my skygo content will not display on my TV when I stream from my iPad and have mirror function enabled. It will stream other video content. I get a message that HDMI out is not supported by the application and a black screen. I do hear the sound of the program being streamed. Can the block be overcome?
I Believe the sky app blocks Airplay.

Footer content is not displayed in SAPscript.
hello friends,
The main window content that has to be diaplayed is more than the size of the main window. Hence the contents that fit the main window size are displayed. Eventually my footer content is not displaying. What cud be the possible reason?
Please guide me.
Thanks.

AlchemiHmm..... Do you have an element in your FOOTER Window?
/E ELEMENT_NAME
If so, are you doing a WRITE_FORM against this in your print program?
CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
exporting
element = 'ELEMENT_NAME'.

DW CS4 Horizontal Spry drop down menu not displaying correctly in Internet Explorer 8
Hi,
I have created a horizontal Spry drop down menu in Dreamweaver CS4 with my own background images. I have done various modifications to the CSS script to accommodate the style and feel needed; including making the main buttons' height twice the size of the sub menu buttons and some alignments. It seems to work different depending which browser is used.
It works well in Google Chrome.
It works well in Firefox with the exception that if any of the buttons are clicked, thereafter a thin black line is diplayed horizontally across center of the top main buttons when the mouse rolls over them. I would like to correct this but is not nearly as bad as the problem I'm having in Internet Explorer 8.
Here is my biggest concern and I would greatly appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this matter.
Once opened in Internet Explorer 8 the main navigation buttons appear as they should. IE8 prompts me the following: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options..". Once I allow IE8 to run scripts or ActiveX controls, the background image disappears and only shows on any menu or submenu button when the mouse rolls over that particular button. Can someone please help.
The menu can be seen at work by clicking on this link:

SpryMenuBar.js
This file handles the JavaScript for Spry Menu Bar. You should have no need
to edit this file. Some highlights of the MenuBar object is that timers are
used to keep submenus from showing up until the user has hovered over the parent
menu item for some time, as well as a timer for when they leave a submenu to keep
showing that submenu until the timer fires.

Thanks in advance for any of your help.
Jose H.Hello Nancy,
I was troubleshooting For the next 8 hours after my post here and eventually I got it right, I uploaded the files to the test server and at the time did not have the chance to post the solution here. This is why, as you saw, it is working correctly now. Both the CSS and HTML files needed modifications. While working on the code I had to run IE8, Chrome and Firefox simultaneously and refresh all three after every change in the code because what would fix the problem in one would cause a problem for the other.
In addition to the problems listed in my original post, there were also other graphical issues in IE8, such as; the main menu buttons without sub-menus would only display at half their size vertically. The border around the buttons would not display despite that the background images were rendered in Photoshop as flattened JPEGs with boarders as part of the background image. Being so, I removed all borders from the CSS script.
By the way.. the IE8 security measure did pop up while working from the server.
Anyhow for those of you who are experiencing similar problems you can take a look at the working code bellow and compare it to the initial code. I've included detail comments on every line I have changed, modified or added.
Good luck.. as I know it can become a complicated task when creating custom Spry menus.

Content does not display when page first opened
Hi All;
I have a contenta are/region which I have divided into multiple tabbed areas. I have two main tabs that divide the content into two major topics. Within each of these main areas I have added 4 to five tabs. One set for example holds a calendar, another tab a news release area and a third a content area for holding multiple folders of a department's documentation. The problem I am encountering is that when I first bring up the page all I see are the tabs and no matter what tab area is exposed the content within it is not displayed. For example, I start with the Calendar tab active (the calendar does not display). I then click on to say the document area, which displays all of its content's correctly. When I return to the calendar tab the calendar is displayed. My question... how can I ensure that the calendar (or any other tabbed area's content is displayed when the user first brings up the page?
PS. This is a hot topic since I will be demoing my pages to my managers next week in an effort to convince them that Oracle Portal is the way to go.When I email the page to our server, the href links are missing.
You email the page to the server? What does that mean?

All of the other pages on the website look correct. Thank you.
Look at the source on that page. There is virtually no styling on it....

Pls Help! My content does not display!!
Hi
The customised content i have cretaed does not display.
I created an URL iview. I created a page and added the iview to the pager. I then cretaed a role, within the role editor i created a folder(Test) and then added the page to the role. I assigned myself the role.
Opened up a new session, Test does not exists in the navigation bar.
How do i get it to display ?Hi,
You must make either the role, or the folder that you've created inside of it, an entry point.
When you are looking at your role in the editor (where you add pages, iviews etc to your role) you will see on the right hand side of the page some propeties. Select 'Show All' and then change 'Entry Point = No' to 'Entry Point = Yes'. Or you can select your folder, press the 'Properties' button, now the properties on the right hand side are for the folder inside the role, not the role. Here you can make the folder the entry point if you like.
Everything inside an entry point is visible, whether or not it's own 'Entry Point' property is selected as 'Yes'. This means that if you make the role and 'Entry Point' everything that you add to the role will be visible.
I hope it helps,
Patrick. -
Related Content does not display on the name change page
Hi all,
Currently, i am doing some research for the related content. I find that delivery configuration has been on the Name Change component (self service). Then I do the security configuration but the related content option does not display on the name change component. No idea which step next i should take.
Please advise.
Any reference or docs is also welcomed.
DennisHi,
What do you mean by my two nodes are all local.
Are you trying to use Related Content within one environment?
Make sure you have an authentication domain set on your webprofile and that your hosts file reflects this.
Make sure there is no proxy or firewall in the way.
Make sure Integration Broker is setup correctly.
Try pinging your server including the authentication domain.
Try looking for log files in the application server and errorLog.html in the Webserv folder. -
Context Menu not displayed in KM for users except Administrator
Hi Experts
Can you please suggest where the permission should be given in order to make context menu visible for users who are not super-administrators but are content admin?
We are facing issue with context menu not shown at all to the users.
Please suggest.
Regards
ShailyHi Shaily,
You may need to look into the permissions on your Layout set and Resource renderer in use.
This thread will help you navigate and do the required changes.

Horizontal Menu Not Displaying Right in IE (Shocker!)
Can someone look and see why my menu wont display correctly in IE. I've used the same feature on other sights with no problems. I may have jacked up the code when tweaking the design. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

AppleTV menu not displaying.
I'm running the HDMI cable from my theatre system as I don't yet have a HD TV. The AppleTV light is on. Problem I'm having is the menu will not display. As I wasn't sure what 'input' to use, I tried them all and nothing! The theatre system display is on 'auxillary' Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
The reason that I was asking is that it sounds as though you are expecting the HDMI from the Apple TV to be converted for component from the theatre system. This isn't possible, purchasing another cable won't help.

I've created a web site and uploaded it to the FTP server to check it works OK and I've found the home page menu doesn't display correctly, but every other page is OK.
The drop down 'sub-menu' is getting clogged up in it's layout.
See here:
all the other pages display correctly and look like this:
Because the menu is generated by Muse as a widget, (I've just edited colours etc) why should 1 page display differently to the others?
I have this in the Master file, so I'm not making duplicate menus on each seperate page... the one widget serves all the pages.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot.If you have inserted the menu on the Master page, then ideally it should appear even and remain unselectable/uneditable on all of the content pages.
Does the menu appear distorted in Design mode for the homepage too or only when you preview in browser/after publish?
I believe you're using the "All Pages" menu type and by looking at the screenshots, it appears that the Products menu item is overlapping the Education menu item. Did you try making a copy or delete the menu and re-insert in Master page? Can you do a Select All on the Home page and check if you don't have an identical but mis-aligned manual menu overlapping the original menu?
If the problem persists, can you share a link to the website for us to have a look?
Thanks,

In-Broswer editing devices menu not displaying
I recently published my site to Business Catalyst and when I go into Editing mode the devices menu no longer displays. I have a mobile and a desk top site and have been able to edit the site a few weeks ago. I double checked that I had all the proper settings to be able to edit the site in the browser and still the Devices menu is not showing up. I have tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox to rule out the chance it was a browser issue, but it was not. I am not sure what is up with the editing mode at this point.
According to this location...
http://www.igains.in/wp-content/themes/iGains/style.css
You currently have the css set as...
@media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
.main-navigation {display: none !important;}
body {margin-top:-42px !important;}
div.heading h1 {font-size: 7.5vmin !important;}
div.heading h2 {font-size: 5vmin !important;}
div.heading p {font-size: 3.5vmin !important;}
h1.header, body.archive h1.archive-title {font-size: 5vmin !important; }
.archive-header {/* background:none !important; */}
Which turns off the nav container holding your menu, in any viewport under 768 pixels.
I don't know enough about WP to tell you where to fix that though. Someone should be able to point you in the right direction. -
Flash content will not display with Player: 10.3.183.7
Hello,
I helped to design a website last year in Flash based off a template purchased from myflashxml.com. Up until the latest version of flash 10.3, all seemed to work ok. As soon as upgrading to 10.3, we see the shift up to the left on the intro and then no content displayed on the actual website (two different flash files).
I understand the issue with the shifting to the left, but I cannot seem to figure out the problem with the second flash file not loading anything, just simply a blank black screen. I have uninstalled 10.3 using the uninstaller, installed archived versions of flash player and the archived versions work properly, even on IE9. As soon as I upgrade the latest flash version, I begin to see the same issues.
I am currently running a few different computers with a few different setups. I have tried this on multiple machines with the following setups:
All are Intel processors.
Windows 7 Professional 64bit (icore5)
IE8, IE9, Firefox
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit (core 2 duo)
IE8, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari
Windows 7 Professional 64bit (core 2 duo)
IE8, Firefox
If anyone has any suggestions as to what to try, I am completely open. Please let me know if you need more information.Could you send the swf's that aren't loading to [email protected]? I'll take a look and see if I can spot any issues.
Thanks,
Chirs
