Continously get an alert: "URL is not valid and cannot be loaded."

Every time I open a new page I see this error. Could it be connected to the Google Chrome add-on? I see that add-on the first few times I open a new tab then it disappears and I start getting this error.

Tried to open Private browsing and get message "the url is not valid and cannot be loaded"

up graded Firefox directly from older version to latest version and problem cropped up. Latest version on my laptop which is out of service and in shop works fine and on my net book works fine. Should I have done it in steps?

Keep getting error "this url is not valid and cannot be loaded" in web sites, links, favorites.

While trying to open links in email, or on websites I get this error alert. Also happening when trying to open links to web pages in favorites. Does not happen when using IE 8. I'm using Windows XP, and Norton 360

New tabs keep opening spontaneously and I get the messsageThe URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.

This usually happens whenever I right click for a new tab or click a link. The unwanted tab always has the URL http://xn--3!1 -fua0do447bmv6g/#%C5%93%C3%8E%06%E2%80%99Ucr%C2%B7%C3%80 and I am constantly having to close these tabs.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I keep getting the alert window that says, "the url is not valid and cannot be loaded"

My computer is "online" but whenever I try to get on a website, the "Alert" box pops up in the middle of my screen saying, "the URL is not valid and cannot be loaded". This is only happening on Mozilla Firefox, I am able to use Internet Explorer without any problems. I do prefer to use Mozilla Firefox as my browser though.

I get continously "THE URL IS NOT VALID AND CANNOT BE LOADED" whereve I am, my homepage or sites I have been using always

Since I downloaded the last Firefox version 3.6 15, no matter where I am, I am back in my homepage and I get the message "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded", usually I can go back to the site I was in and keep doing whatever I was doing, but often it will happen again.
This is happening in both my computer, laptop and desktop, one has windows XP, the other one has windows 7.

i get the same message, "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded.".
i've narrowed it down a bit more.
i've got a freshly installed firefox US 9.0.1 on a freshly installed windows xp pro sp3 US (fully patched). a freshly installed separate firefox 3 install is on this machine too, but that does not seem relevant.
the problem only occurs when i load https-urls with invalid certificates (eg self-signed) in the case that i use a firefox with a non-default profile.
so the "default" profile displays a "this page cannot be trusted" screen as expected, i can open the url. but in a different firefox instance/profile, when going to the same https url, i get the error popup. the firefox profile/instance is started like this: firefox.exe -P dev -no-remote.
i have reinstalled firefox 9 & 3 because of this issue. the problem stayed. i didn't remember whether i could load the https url with the default before the reinstall. perhaps i couldn't...

I can no longer use Firefox. EVERY PAGE I attempt to load produces the following message alert: "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded"
I have already cleared everything in my browser, rebooted my computer and absolutely nothing works. This just started happening constantly today.

Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

It's not that I'm typing anything in wrong, it's when I first open Firefox or a new tab. Instead of displaying the firefox page showing my recently viewed websites it's just an invalid URL. Why would I be blocked from this page?
