Continual Rotating Screen

I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and the screen is constantly rotating unless I hold down the rotation button below the screen. I have looked all over my computer but to be honest I'm not sure what to look for to stop this from happening.
To paint a better picture of what is happening, imagine your computer screen rotating in a circle as if you were hitting the rotate button on a picture you're editing. It just won't stop.
If you have had this issue or you know how to fix it I would really appreciate the help before I toss my computer in the freshly fallen snow.
Yes I have restarted. I have also tried unplugging it, switching the user, checking for viruses...etc.

Swipe up to get control centre and tap the rotation lock icon.

Good afternoon! The camera of my Xperia Z3 "turned" as if I were in screen rotation mode. However, even when I disable this rotation, the camera continues "turned" and, when I take a picture and visualize it, it is small and positioned only on the screen side. Would PC Companion resolve this issue

You can rotate a screen shot, by opening it, (Preview is the default) un the menu bar Tools click rotate.
If you mean convert if from landscape to portrait, none that I know of.

I am getting a continued BLUE screen on my iPhone 5s, and it restarting a lot, I don´t understand what is wrong with it.
Has this happened to anybody here?

Same problem here, Im running the latest version of iOS 7 on my iphone 5S (ipod 5S) bricked lol. It was working fine and then a mates baby grabbed my phone and dropped it (not very high) then it went off so i turned it on and BAM i got the grey backround with the apple logo on it so, I waited, Then it went to BSOD and got stuck in that loop, I then done a manual reset I was able to turn it off thats all. I tried restore in recovery mode with the latest itunes it come up with Unknown Error, error code (14) (something to do with unreconizable USB) tried many diffrent USB ports but sadly nothing, I then tried DFU mode with itunes still not working. Im really stuck on this one I need some assitance PLEASE! HELP!

Why my ipad have problem with the rotation screen

i have a problem with the rotation screen is locked, i try everything but nothing is happening help

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

REPORT: Bug in OS X's anti-aliasing w/ rotated screen

This is a fairly substantial bug. This may not be the ideal place to post it, but could someone tell me where to submit this so Apple will take notice?
A friend and I both have Mac Pros w/ ATI X1900 displays. This video card supports screen rotation in the OS X Displays control panel. So he went out and grabbed a rotating 1600x1200 Samsung (4:3) display to set next to his 30" Apple Cinema Display (both 1600 pixels tall, when the Samsung is in portrait orientation - a good match).

He has his 'Font smoothing style' in the Appearances prefs pane set to "Medium - best for flat panel." This setting uses subpixeling, providing up to 3x the horizontal resolution of the screen's native pixel width. (More about sub-pixeling here: http://www.grc.com/cleartype.htm )
Sub-pixeling depends upon the orientation of the RGB elements of each sub-pixel cluster that makes up a pixel. When a screen is rotated 90-degrees, the RGB "stripes" run horizontal, not vertical. As can be seen from the below images, where the first image (ONE) shows the rotated Samsung and the second image (TWO) shows the standard orientation Apple Cinema 30", OS X's sub-pixeling does NOT take into account the new orientation of the sub-pixel clusters, resulting in a rather bold and crude rendering of text on the rotated first (ONE) image:

Apple needs to correct this so that people don't have to abandon sub-pixeling and use 'Standard' (greyscale) anti-aliasing. Microsoft takes sub-pixel cluster orientation into account with Windows Mobile (CE) on the Pocket PC's. Surely Apple can get this working with rotated screens under OS X.

Rotate screen - help!! N95 not 8gb

When i play my music (and slide my phone down to do it), my nokia automatically rotates to landscape which is cool, but then when i close it it doesn't rotate back unless i slide up to reveal the keypad and then back down again. Now i have tried to download rotateMe using all this symbian signed business but have had no luck - i'm probably too thick in fairness! Is there any settings on my phone to sort it out so it goes back to portrait screen without sliding up and down? Or even better a freeware application which automatically turns to landscape and back to portrait when you turn the phone which unlike rotateMe you don't have to get signed????

N95 8gb Auto Rotate Screen

Hello,
I just downloaded the newest firmware for the n95 8gb.
I had the heard that the newest firmware allows for auto rotate screen from portrait to landscape and vice versa.
Is this true and if so how do I enable this feature?

Check I've said having an RM-421 phone. That's the N95-4 or N95 NAM. The N95-2 is RM-320.

Rotate screen won't stay - device - mini iPad

when i switch between apps i have to go to device to rotate screen each time.

Try closing the mail app and reboot the iPad. Lock the screen again and see of it works.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.

Elements Trial will not let me use the program. Buy or continue trial screen closes Elements down. What can be causing this?

My copy of Elements came with a trial copy of Premiere Elements. I have not been able to use this program as every time I open it, before I can add files to the library, the Buy Now or Continue Trial screen pops up. When I choose to Continue Trial, the window closes and Premiere Elements remains closed.
What am I doing wrong?

What version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are you using or attempting to use and what computer operating system is involved?
Have you or anyone else installed that Premiere Elements tryout previously, even if for less than 30 days of use?
What do you mean by "add files to the library" in a step apparently just prior to the typical Buy Now or Continue Trial dialog?

No "rotate screen" button in Notebook G 700 with Windows 7, how to enable?

Hi,
there are no "rotate screen" buttons/options in my new Notebook Lenovo G 700 (Windows 7).
When I go to the "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel", the "Rotation"-Option is missing.
I read that the option maybe is disabled by the manufacturer.
When I start the Notebook with Linux Ubuntu from an USB-Stick, rotation works fine. So the hardware works.
The Lenovo support tells me to set the Notebook back to factory settings. I did not this yet.
I try some tweaks in the registry, but no success.
Any ideas how to enable "screen rotation" under Windows 7?
I need it to rotate an external monitor.

hi Frank,
That's weird that the Intel Video Driver from the lenovo site didn't install and the one from the Intel website installed fine. Try running the setup.exe file one more time located in the c:\drivers\Intel Video Driver folder and observe (this folder also has a readme.txt file for the minimum requirements to install the driver).
Also, you mentioned you tried some registry tweaks to enable the rotation, have you tried to enable these settings under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class ?
Settings:
Display1_EnableRotation - set to 1 (dword 32bit)
Display1_RotationCaps - set to 7 (dword 32bit)

I just did an update to my IPad and would like to know how to rotate screen from portrait to landscape. Thank you

Lock the screen orientation.
Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center, then tap .
The orientation lock icon appears in the status bar when the screen orientation is locked.
You can also set the Side Switch to lock the screen orientation instead of silencing sound effects and notifications. Go to Settings > General, and under “Use Side Switch to,” tap Lock Rotation.

I update my iPad to iOS 7.1.2 and then I cannot rotate screen.

i Look through the 'setting' and restart my device but they doesn't work.

Just curious. What size is your iPhone 6? They come with 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. There is no 32 GB model.

Xperia Z - Auto update of a patch and phone is now full of bugs- Rotation Screen is also a mess

My Experience with Xperia Z was going absolutely amazing. One of the best phones in a long time. A small patch yesterday poooped for updating in Sony Updates. Usually walkman and albums get updated but this was titled system update and said that it improves battery life and user experience.
Long story short after the update, the phone is the worst Ive had. Its gotten slow, lock screen does not wake up and the worst of all.. The Rotation screen is a mess.
Even when the phone is straight it roatetes and stays there.. !!
and I cant even play the games cause all the readings are wrong.
Ive tried to reset it but it doesnt work.. Ive also updated VIA Sony PC COmpanion but apparently that was the latest updated.
Any Ideas how this can be fixed..
One of the best phones is now one of the worst.. All due to a small patch from Sony itself...!!..

I agree, updated yesterday and it's glitchy as **bleep**. Trash can stays on screen screen rotates intermittently and I have lost all capability to tether. This is my home network as well so I'm stuffed for pc Internet and my ps3.
