How do you get videos from your computer onto iTunes?
Short movie clips, like homemade movie type things off of windows media player. So that they can go onto my ipod.

How do I get a five point solid star using character map ?
I can not retrieve a five point solid star from the " character map ". I have tried all the fonts that have a star ,and, when I paste, I get a different character ,but, no star. I tried the system of getting characters using the " ALT KEY " and number pad on the right side of the keyboard, but, here again, when I type in the code for a solid star ( 9733 in the list I retrieved from the internet ) a different character pops up. I have Vista, and use Firefox. I tried using " IE " but still have the same problem. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you

I am trying to use the "This solved my question - 10 points" an the "This helped me - 5 points" but they are NOT doing anything. How do I award the points ?
Are you talking about the "Legend" panel at the right of the window?
Those text are just help texts explaining the reputation points. You can only award points, if you are the original poster of a question. Who asked that you are bothered or not ..if you are not then why to follow you ? i am really sorry to feel that and expressing this feeling that the mostly posted thread reagarding points issue here is not advisable by him but what make him to show his attitude towards me :).I'm sorry if you felt it was aggressive or threatening as it wasn't and I certainly can't see how it could be threatening.
From a Buddhist perspective, and other Eastern teachings, we have to remember that the perception of anger, agression, arrogance and any other emotion comes from the person perceiving it. These emotional perceptions are not the true Self, but are dillusions of the mind created from past experience, and do not exist in the present moment.
Bearing in mind it was not apparent that you thought the forum software was at fault, was it really arrogant to question why you appeared to be bothered by the fact you hadn't received points for your assistance on the forum, considering the purpose of the forum is not about receiving points but about offering assistance?. Since the points system was introduced it has become the practice of some (not all, and not necessarily yourself) to make untested and incorrect responses quickly to someone's issue stating that "the is the correct answer" in order to try and gain points and increase their position on the forums. It has introduced an unnecessary competition on the forum and, whilst competition is healthy, it is introducing a lot of incorrect answers within threads (I know we all get it wrong occassionally, but it is noticably messier than the previous forum, at least I've noticed that). IMHO, the forum would be better without any ranking shown at all, perhaps just showing a persons points accrued next to any posts they make so that people reading it can see how well a person has contributed. It is the ranking system ("top users in forum") that is causing the unhealthy competition and messiness of wrong answers. ;)

Add positive and negative point system.
SDN SAP forum is using point system effectively.
It shows who got maximum point this week, who got maximum
point this month, till today who got maximum points.
Points are give by people who ask questions based on correct
answer. If answer is correct, 1 point is awarded.
wrong answer and arrogant answer -1 point.
We need to recognize people who help others. This will be a

I think this is wrong for the following simple reasons:

I HATE my new MACBOOK PRO, it will not let me open any PDF files and I downloaded the ADOBE READER three freaking times and it keeps saying that all the files are corrupt or damaged. I would rather have my 2008 Dell at this point. what is wrong with this thing
Perhaps the PDF files are corrupted.
Hit the command key and spacebar, a blue Spotlight in the upper right hand corner appears, now type Preview and press return on the Preview program.
Now you can try opening the PDF's from the file menu and see what's going on.
If they are corrupted, perhaps they are trojans from your Windows PC or gotten from a bad location online.
Download the free ClamXav and run a scan on the possibly infected folder. -

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (Although the procedure is for Vista and 7 and you've got XP, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

In pages, when I get to the end of a line, the text refuses to start again in the left, it continues on the right and goes down the page, anyone know a solution?
Does this occur in all of your Pages documents? Are you certain that you haven't formatted the type to run flush right? (Align right I mean - sorry old typographer lingo). Look at the ruler at the top and check the Align setting.
Have you tried quitting Pages completely and the restart the iPad?
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
ibooks author is continuously deleting pages from my book until i'm left with nothing, does anyone know why this is or have the same problem?

Please have a look at this Re: Inexisting BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST in our SAP system IDES. There are 4 * 6 points rewarded, which is nice, but not correct at all.

Don't know if it's sync or icloud but I have started getting thousands of ithmb files in my pictures library each day. I can't open them and I have to continually delete them. Anyone else have this problem?

When i plugged my ipod into the computer it started to make buzzing and screeching noises. It became hot so i removed it and then the screen froze while it continued to make these noises. I have never had anything like this happen. (never gotten it wet or had it exposed to extreme temperatures) It is also unresponsive to any buttons on the ipod and it didn't show up when i plugged it into my computer. What do I do? Also if it is unfixable could i get a free one from apple?

After Goods Issuance of Stock Transfer Order:
I did a capturing and posting of Excise Invoice referencing the Goods
Issuance Material Document (of STO) using transaction J1IS. Excise
Document is created succesfully and displayed in the pop up message,
but FI document is not displayed in the pop up message (but it actually
got created in the system).
The pop up message looks like this:
"Excise invoice 001020026 generated. FI document is ."
Is there a SAP note to enable the FI document number to be displayed in
the pop up message?
