Continuos crash of Adobe FP plug in???

Why does my pc crash so much on FB? I have adobe FP 12 and FP plug in why do I need the plug in?? what happens when I remove the plug in

There are two "plug-ins" for Flash Player on Windows (3 if you count Chrome which has its own called PepperFlash)
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Depending on what browser you use (you didn't specify) you need one or the other. I recommend having BOTH, even if you don't use IE. There are things in Office that look for the ActiveX plug-in. Powerpoint when you embed video, for instance... looks for the ActiveX plug-in first.

No matter the website or browser i use. I keep getting this error message when trying to play any video. 'the adobe flash plug in has crashed' I had had theis prolbem well over a month, i have updated flash player and firefox. no change.

I have sent nearly a hundred crash reports. no change. adobe want money with no guarantee it can fix the problem. no matter the browser or website. the video never plays. I have update virus and anti-spam software. no other error message than the unhappy lego brick with error message stating adobe flash plug in has crashed. I have place a -1 in delay or some config in adobe. No change.

I'm not sure that you saw the error msg. included in the kb, but it discusses removing .msi files from previous installations of DM.   Post back and let us know how it goes.

How can I stop adobe flash plug in from crashing so many times?

I am using a netbook with Windows 7 starter. When I browse the net, and use well known websites such as ebay etc, I notice that adobe flash plug in crashes a lot. Why does this happen, and how can I fix this?

I am running windows vista for business (32 bit), using firefox, when I try to play a sample from audible.co.uk the browser hangs and then I get the message, "adobe flash plug in has crashed". I have tried uninstalling the flash player and reinstalling to no avail. It also crashes using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Try uninstalling the currently installled Flash plugin (required for most YouTube content) then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches

Adobe plash plug in crashes when I try to attach a picture from My Pictures

I am trying to attach a picture from My Pictures folder to an email. When I press attach files, it disappears quickly and I see the message that my "Adobe Flash Plug-in has crashed.

Yes, as long as it is words, but when I want to do a picture it refuses. The pictures library is part of Window 7. The help program just said to be sure it was connected, power was on to it, unplug and replug, then restart my computer. I did all that. I prints photos that are in other programs. When I first started with 7 I didn't understand how it worked and some pictures were posted in documents. Those pictures print. Windows 7 seems to put the pictures where ever it wants them. I have Picasso on my computer and it doesn't pick up any of the pictures in the pictures library. So I still can't get Firefox to print pictures.

Adobe Flash plug in still crashing after attempting both solutions posted here. Works for a day then crashes again.

My Adobe Flash plug in is still crashing. I first attempted the Update Flash. It worked for a day before it started crashing again. So I went back to the page and attempted the 2nd solution of downgrading flash to 10.3. Again it worked for a day or two but now is giving me the same issue. I am getting extremely frustrated.

Thank you. I uninstalled both and reinstalled 11.5. It is working currently. Hopefully it will continue!

Okay, my Firefox has crashed apparently. So it says 'The Adobe Flash plug-in has crashed'. Okay, so what do I do? I tried fixing it on my own, scene I am usually good with this kind of problems, and what I researched it tells me to click the little 'send crash report' link. I am Adobe After Effects CS6 11.0.4 on a windows 7 64 bit PC with 16gb of ram. I encounter this error: crash occurred while invoking plug-in Classic 3D when rendering. There was a similar thread stating there exists a fix for this issue for After Effects CC 12.2.1 . That fix does not work for version 11.0.4 Does a similar fix exist for version 11.0.4? Or can we have this fix created for version 11.0.4?

The Adobe download site for AE shows that I am on the latest version. I also ran the check updates from AE. It also stated that I am on the latest version. (Adobe - After Effects : For Windows ) What is the latest version that you are referencing?

What I suggest you do here is to use Adobe's uninstaller tool to uninstall Flash first of all: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Then reboot, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and reinstall it.
I notice too that you have an outdated version of Shockwave For Director. You can update that via http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/

It seems it doesn't matter as since update for my plug ins firefox as a whole as slowed way way down and running resources like crazy. Need to fix this. I have been checking around for answers and dont seem to find an easy solution or update to fix this so ff is fast again. It also doesnt seem to be just when on a page with flash on it. It slows all pages down. Once have like 3 pages / tabs open. Fast computer to so this should be fast as heck like it normally is. Thats one main reason for firefox. Cause it runs fast but now slow as can be as of 3 days ago. I updated flash, all plugins and extensions but still slow.
Anybody have any fixes for this and my like posted issue please share. I will be creating a thread myself on this as well so can post there to if dont mind.
