Contract Alert in SRM 7.0

Dear ,Experts :
I work in SRM 7.0 SP 09 .contract management .
I do the configuration about the contract alert management .
1, define the transaction type ,and assign the Event Schema .
2,Define the "Define Events","Define Event Schema',"Define Recipient of Notifications" under SPRO -Event and Event Schema for Alert Management
3,And  do the configuration  in SRPO -SAP Web Application Server-Application Server-Generic Business Tools-Alert Management:
A ,Define Connection to Central Alert Server
   B, Central Alert Server Configuration
   C, Define Alert Categories
4,Active the workflow WS10400022
I run the progran :BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK ,and get the expired contract number ,and the   Message type-" NOTIFIC"
5 ,Active the smartforms :BBP_OUT_EXCEPTION
But I can't find any mails  in the SOST  , OR there is something wrong with my configuration ?
BestRegards !
Alex !

Hi Alex,
Have you debugged the BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK program?.
Also, can you confirm what type of alert category you have used (alert, message or notification) as I have seen it work ok with alert, but not tried the others so they may not work.
Best regards,
Nick

  • Contract Creation in SRM 7.0 classic scenario

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 EHP 4 and CLM 2. We are creating contracts in SAP CLM and pushing into as Global outline agreement.
    Question is  -
    1)  Can we  create  contracts in SRM 7.0 Classic scenario ?
    2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
    3) How  we can  transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
What are the mandatory fields required to transfer the CLM contracts contracts to ECC  outline agreement -  I know ,Vendor, Purchase org, Pur grp, company code are required - is product catagory is also a mandatory field.
    Rgds/Pawan

    Hi Pawan,
Please find the answered for your questions:
    Question is -
    1) Can we create contracts in SRM 7.0 Classic scenario ?
Mitesh: Yes we can very well create in Classic Scenario as well in SRM 7.0.SC can be pushed to SOCO based on the Prod Category configuration in SPRO.From SOCO PO, Contract and RFX can be created for SC.
    2) Instead of transfering the ECC outline agreement to SRM , can we directly use ECC outline agreement as a source of supply in SRM while creating a SC.
Mitesh: I dont think we can use ECC outline agreement as source of supply in SRM while creating SC.Contract replication in SRM 7.0 with EHP 4 ECC is eSOA based and ONLY Outbound to SRM (inbound to ECC).Contract cannot be replicated from ECC to SRM.
    3) How we can transfer the SAP CLM 2.0 contracts into SRM 7.0 and use a source of supply there while creating a SC ( Considereing that these CLM contratcs are also transfered to ECC as a outline agreement)
+Mitesh: Standard intergeration of CLM/ESO to SRM 7.0 is very much there in roadmap for future releases of SRM/ESO.+
+As of now there is a consulting solution available to integerate ECC and ESO/CLM.+
+This logic can be leveraged to integrate ESO/CLM to SMR 7.0 (or lower version) requiring Developement effort from SRM functional,SRM technical,PI, Basis,ESO and java consultants.+
+Such contracts can be forced to be used as Source of Supply or alternatively replicated to ECC Via standard repliation scenario.+
    Hope this helps.

    Mitesh

  • Contract Alert for Auto/Manual Renewal goes to the Salesperson

We just upgraded from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10 and find that the salesrep under the vendor contact for a contract gets the renewal notification. Thus, our salesrep across the business get this notification which never used to occur in 11.5.9, though the setups between the instances are the same.
Following seems to be the order for the notification hierarchy:
Following is the order in which the person to whom the notification is sent is derive
    d.
    1. Salesrep if defined on the contract
    2. Vendor contact user name from OKS: Vendor Contact Role profile option
    3. Contract admin user name from OKS: Notify Contract Administrator profile option
    4. Contract approver's user name from OKC: Contract Approver profile option
I have 2 questions on this issue:
    1. What makes the notification recipient different in 11.5.10?
    2. If this is standard functionality, how can I stop this notification from being sent? Can I change the setups and make this work?
    Appreciate your response and help!
    Thanks,
    Simar

I think you have to customize the Contract Alert workflow which sends the notification.

  • Issue with Contract Replication from SRM to MDM  - XML structure

    Hi
We are having an issue with trnsfering a contract to MDM. We have released the contract for update to MDM in the contract through the distribute to catalog option. An XML is generated in SRM that gets sucessfully passed to PI through Catalogupdatenotification_out. In PI the XML fails in the Interface Determination step. the issue that has been noticed is that the XML that is generated in SRM does not contain product category or product ID which is basically what the condition mapping in PI checks for. The conditions in PI were setup as per SAP.
But now the XML fails in PI because it does not find a combination for Catalog type code = 03 and product category. Please find the XML structure in SRM and you will see that it does not have a product category even though the contract has one.

    Dear Krupa,
Thank you for your quick reply.
So we should consider the scenario where SRM is the central repository for the contracts, and all the changes done in SRM should be replicated to ERP.
In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Central contract functionality in SRM 7.0?

    Dear Experts,
I would like to have few clarifications about central contract functionality in SRM 7.0.
As per understanding, from SRM 7.0, there is no two separate documents like local contract and GOA (global outline agreement--contract for backend ERP systems). Now, SRM have only one document -Central contract to be used in sourcing for various backend systems as well as the SRM system itself.
Now, my question is as below:
Since the central contract is released into various backend ERP systems, do the backend requisitions needed to be transferred to SRM system to use the central contract as a source of supply . or the backend requisitions can be assigned to the central contract in the ERP system systems itself (without sending it to SRM system ) and released to suppliers?
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Hi,
From ERP 6.0 EhP4, ERP transactions can look at SRM central contracts.

  • How to create contract in SAP-SRM via a bespoke?

    Hi All,
I got one requirement to create contract in SAP-SRM via a bespoke interface from the sourcing workbench.
How to create contract in SRM via a bespoke?
Even I don't know what is a bespoke. I belong to SAP bw platform
    kindly give me the solution.
    Thanx in advance,
    Ravi.

    Hi
    <b>Bespoke</b> <u>means</u> <b><u>Customer development</u></b>.
So you can create Shopping carts, either automatically via logging to SRM portal or programmatically using Bespoke developments / programs.
<b>BAPI Function module -  'BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL' is used to create shopping cart from portal with other function modules.</b>
<u>Also you can use RFC BBP_PD_SC_CREATE function module for Creating Shopping Cart.</u>

  • SRM Contract alert management Workflow - WS10400022 Agents determination

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to implement Alert management for SRM Contracts that are expired/ or the threshold is exceeded.
All the necessary configs are done and the event linkage is also done for the workflow Template WS10400022.
The task used in this workflow TS10407926, for agent determination, used the expression &Agents_0001.Agents&
This container value is neither passed from the event linkage binding.
Can anyone explain how this agent determination is done for this workflow?
Your replies are very much appreciated
    Cheers,
    Prem.

    Hello,
OK, i did not see the event linkage between event and workflow...
Currently, &Agents_0001.Agents& is not populated with data coming from the event:
Event is managed by BBP_EV_API_EVENTS_SAVE function modul, and inside this FM by CL_BBP_EVENTS class.
Maybe you should open an OSS message and check all OSS notes dealing with BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK report.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Contract Alerts Notification Emails

    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to alter the system generated content of the alert emails.
We've configured the SRM 5.0 system to produce the desired contract notification alerts using BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK. The alerts contain our custom text plus the standard SAP text.
In the alert body, the system adds a section called 'Possible Subsequent Activities'  which is then followed by a URL for the ITS plus BBP_CTR_EXT_WF/!?client=100&sap-client=100&language=EN&sap-language=EN&~DisconnectOnClose=1&CONTRACT_ID=
Has anyone been able to figure out how to either hide that section or blank out the URL?
    Regards,
    Jerry Martinek

    Hi Jerry
Looking at your message, I understand that you already know this. But ..pl check again.
In SRM50, BBP_CONTRACT_CHECK works along with SRM alert management functionality for few alerts. You need to configure alert schema/events etc and assign alert schema to your contract transaction type. Worst case scenario, you may want to influence the URL from smartform BBP_OUT_EXCEPTION itself!
Pl check this link to see how the alerts work:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm50/helpdata/en/42/c8aaddd9cc6bb3e10000000a1553f6/content.htm
    Check note 984184 also.

  • SRM -- MDM -- ECC integration for central contract management for SRM 7.0

    Hi there,
I am questioned by a client with respect to the possibility of the following scenario -
    1. There are several SAP back end systems in place.
    2. SRM 7.0 will be implemented as single sourcing system.
    3. The SAP back end systems carry different material master codes for the same material and this will remain the same and no cleaning effort to have a unique code across all systems is going to be done.
    4. If we use MDM in the mix - will it be possible for the SRM system to act as a central contracting solution and create a central contract with the unique material code in MDM.
    5. On distribution of this contract across to individual SAP back end system the back end should map the MDM code to correct material code in that respective system.
Any insights with respect to if this is possible with some enhancements or not at all possible will be highly appreciated.

  • Event FOR contract  Changed in SRM

    Hi frnds
I am using business object BUS2000113 FOR SRM .
I want to know which event gets triggred when the contract is released .
I have used ChangeVersionSaved & saved events but still i m not able to triger my workflow .
    Can you plz help .
    Thansk

I think the Saved event gets triggered. Please check whether the linkage is activated and the start condition is configured in SWB_COND. Also make sure you are properly creating a contract. It would be good if you first check the contract and then create it.
    Thanks

  • Create Purchasing Contracts on SAP SRM system

    Hi all,
I need to know how can I create purchasing contracts on SRM system: I must do it only through web portal or can I create them through SRM Transactions? What are the transactions which allow me to do this?
    Thanks in advance, best regards,
    Maria

    Hi Maria,
In addition to what Masa has replied, the system does not allow the transaction to be processed in GUI once it is classified as Easy web transaction.
BBP_CTR_MAIN is the transaction for Processing contracts. You can maintain the transaction using SE93 txn code.
If you click on display button you can see that the transaction is classified as Easy web transaction by activating the radio button.Once this setting is deactivated the transaction can be processed in GUI.
You can test the transaction by clicking on the Test icon on the menu bar.
Hope this makes you more clear.
    Award points for helpful answers.

  • Additional Tab in Contract Header for SRM 7

    Hello,
I have a requirement to add custom tabs into the Contract in SRM 7 (latest version)
So I added custom fields in the header structure via config, the fields are visible in BBP_PDHSC. Also I did add additional tab into the contract using FPM configuration where I have attached the custom webdynpro component to it.
Now the issue is the custom field values doesn't get updated into the system. The CLL layer class /SAPSRM/CL_CH_WD_BOM_CTR method submit_update doesn't get triggered for the custom fields whereas it gets triggered for standard fields. Also I noticed that the mt_mapper table has the /SAPSRM/WDC_CTR_DODC_H_BD as deactive..
I think I am missing something in my custom component but cannot figure it. Could anyone please help me out with the update of custom fields into teh system..
    Thank you..

  • How Product category contract replicate from SRM to ECC?

    HI, dear experts:
I  work with SRM 7.0.   I have reliazed that  contract with product ID replicated to ECC , it is a standar way.   But the contract without Product ID  ,only product category and description    cann't be replicated to ECC.    why?   how I do ?
Please tell me ,thanks very much.
    Jesse.

    Hi, Muthu
I made e some change in ECC .  and  the error info is "Combination item category W /account assignment category U not defined" in BD87  .
item category  'W'  is material group  in ECC.
    how will i do ?
       thank you
    Hi, Muthu
I made the setting  in ECC to permit 'Combination item category W /account assignment category U',  and the contract can reach the ECC.    in ECC, the contract item category is 'W'  (material group).      actually,  in ECC ,material group contract  can be created wihtout 'W'.    the MM consultant also don't  except  'W' as item category, should as empty.   Will I do some change in SRM .  how to do ?
    thank you again
    Hi, Muthu
By testing, I found the situation:
when creating contract,  in item,  if  I select  Item Category  as 'Product Category' , then I can't input  'Product ID' ,'Unit',  'Price', etc.   I can only input main info  such as 'Target Quantity'  'Target Value'  etc.
when the contract is generated in ECC.     the item category is 'W'  , Target Quantity is empty, Price is empty,  the Target value that is input in SRM    is disapeared,   in other words, this kind of contract don't have price (value) .
          is it normal?
my business expect  it is like with product ID.  can this be realized?
detail 'W' can be known from url:

  • Badis for Central Contract Replication from SRM to ECC

    hi
    experts
i am working on a scenario of replicating the central contract from SRM 0.7  to ECC via XI/PI
let me know what are the Badis to be implemented in ECC for the Same
    looking forward for your  reply

    Hi,
You do not need any Badi in ECC to distribute central contract to your backend system.
if your ECC system is on ECC 6.0 enpk 4.0 or more,
you can directly distribute your central contract from SRM to ECC system using standard ESOA services.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan
