Contract block

I have to create a contract in va41 and save it.Then it has to be approved by a specific user.
How can I make this condition ?
I have created a status profile and assigned it to document type but while creating contract its showing an error

Thanks for your reply, but I have tried those options too, still getting error at the header level.I might have missed some settings .
Can you provide me the list of activites(Transactions and action in every transaction) for making a contract block with statuses.
Used Transactions :BS02,BS52,VOV8,SU01.
Please provide valuable inputs.

User status profile for Contract block in SAP SD

We have a business requirement. Let me explain this first.
Requirement is that every contract which is created by any user should be blocked. Some authorized users can release them. Sale order can not be created until the sale order is released.
Once the contract is released it should allow to create sale order. But after releasing contract if there is any change in quantity or net value or payment term etc. It should go in block status again and again those authorized user should release it for further processing.
I have done following things so far.
I have created status profile Z_SD_CON and assigned this in contract type in VOV8. I have also created "Authorization Key" Z0000001 and assigned in user master. But when i crated contract type CQ. It gave me following error.
Status profile Z_SD_CON is not allowed for "Sales order header"
Message no. BS020
Diagnosis
Status profile Z_SD_CON may not be used for object type 'Sales order header'.
Procedure
Use another status profile or allow the use of status profile Z_SD_CON by object type 'Sales order header'.
Please suggest.

Hi,
You can control by defining various Statuses (Individual status of an object) . Once you selected the check box in object type come back and select each status and click on details (f2) now click on New entries (f5) system will show you the Business transactions. Here you can give the Influence and next action for each business transaction.
Like this way you can define en number of status profiles and assign to your document types as per your requirement.
TIP:
1.Authorization object for status profile is : B_USERSTAT
2. you can define the authorization groups also (t code:BS52) to assign against each status
The above both you can assign in user profile (role) ask your basis people to help on this.
Example: Suppose if you defined authorization group as Z123 & assigned against REAL status. Then the user who have the authorization for object B_USERSTAT & group as Z123 can only release the sales order.

puposes is nobody should be able to put sales order for that material.

Create Sales Status in SPRO > Logistics - General > Material Master > Settings for Key Fields > Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution > Define Sales Statuses > Here you can put blocks in following;
Block f.inquiry
Block f.quotat.
Block for order
Block prod.prop
Block sched.agr
BlckValContract
Block contract
Block f.returns
Free delivery
Block delivery
Block cred.memo
Block DebitMemo
Delivery block
And use this key in Material master Sales: Sales org 1 view, in field
X-distr.chain status (If you want to block it for sales for all distribution chains.)OR
DChain-spec. status (if only for the specific dist. cahin)

Waiting for Activation i have an iphone 3g. iphone is from my old contract and i have given it to my girlfriend. she then went to the O2 store and they gave her a new sim card which is compatable with iphone 3g. O2 have told me the phone is not blocked.

" fault code,,,,,waiting for activation, this may take some time,,,,," O2 gave my gf the contract and the new sim card to go into my old iphone 3g which was with O2 previous, O2 have assured us that the phone's imei number is not blocked, they have also said the sim is activated and there is no reason why the phone should not work. the phone is out of date warranty. the sim card does work in other handsets, also my sim from my iphone 3gs does not work in the iphone 3g. i have spent hours litterally on the phone to O2 and now to apple, but because i am out of warranty apple want £25 just to even listen to me over the phone. someone please help me. i am getting very frustrated for hopefully what might be an easy fix for someone. i have done all the resets that are possibly humainly possible, i have done all the resores you can do, have sync'd on many occasions all to come up with the same fault. i am still getting O2 in the top left corner but with no bars and when trying to call it fails imediately. wifi is fine, it works as an ipod.

ONLY AT&T can legally/legitimately unlock it. No one else at all.

Block and Unrelease PO & Contract

Dears,
The client requirement is that they want to block completely PO and contract after release. If there is any change (after printing), then the releaser can unrelease the PO or contract so that the Buyer can able to make the change. Any idea how to this.

We know that release indicator 1 is for 'cannot be changed', but the requirement is that if there is any change after printing, the Manager wants to release the PO/contract so that Buyer can change it, and the Manager will re-release the same.

Block on contract billing - Historical block

Dear experts,
I'd like to know if there is a way to have an "historical" block on contract for billing.
My purpose is to have something like the DFKKLOCKS for invoicing to let the contract be billed for a period, until it reaches the first block.
For example:
Contract A, block 1 for period 01/01/2014 - 31/12/9999
I'd like to bill it until 31/12/2013.

Service contract - Billing block

Dear Guru's
i am doing the service contract with standard document type WV.But my client requirment is,he wants to block the individual line item wise in VA41 and Release in VA42 by individual line item and do billing in VF01.
could anybody tell me how to configure the same. i am using the Billing plan Periodic .

You can achieve same using status profile conifg at item level, i did same for my service contract for order creation block ( IW31) and Billing block,
try with status profile , i hope its help you to block Service items in sales contract.

Is it possible to selectively block re-explode BOM in Sub-contracting PO ?

In our business scenario, sometimes we are directly adding PO components in the Sub-contracting PO in addition to the existing components that have come in through BOM. After saving and somedays later when the user goes to edit PO through ME22N, since the components button & re-explode BOM button are very close, users by mistake press re-explode BOm and also save the PO. The directly added components go out and hence not consumed while GR. Is it possible to selectively block the re-explode BOM through PO user exit or any other method?

Some amount of user training should help.
If not discuss with your abaper if badi - ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST can be used or you can find user exits with a search using MM06E*

Problem with blocking of the stock by the contract

Can you please tell me, why the line 20 in my Contract 12505100 is still blocking the stock, while we cancelled this line?? It is visible in the transaction MD04.

I work in SRM 5.0 and I need to create a contract in backend R3 from a quot in SRM
I need that positions of my future contract in R3 are blocked
Do you know if filling the parameter IT_PDEXT_ITEMS-DEL_IND = S or with other mark in the badi BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE, the contract positions are blocked?

If u set the IT_PDEXT_ITEMS-DEL_IND = X then contract will be created and it will be deleted.
Yes u can do this in BADI BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE.

We have also done this. we have done by doing some modifications in the user exit of MIGO by the help of abaper. the program will select the field validity end date from EKKO& compare the same with system date & if the current date is greater an error message will pop up.

Insert Billing Block if Contract is Changed

Dear Experts,
We have Rental Contract / Service Conract scenario where we create a Contract with BIlling Plan & create Invoice eveny month thru VF04.
We now have a requirement to insert Billing Block when the Conract is Created. This is easily achieved by inserting BIlling Block in VOV8 & removing activity no. 43 (Release) in Authorization object - V_VBAK_AAT
Now the requirement is to Insert Billing Block in the Contract if some key fields like Payment Terms, Prices are changed.
Can someone please suggest on how to insert this Billing Block if the Contract is changed.

See I think I can achieve it with applying User Exit (probably USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION) but the client is insisting on implementing Workflows.
Can anyone suggest whether Workflows would help me insert BIlling Block in Contract if the Contract is changed?
Also Please tell me which is a easier option to implement - Workflows or Userexit???

Blocking Sales Order through contract

Hi Experts,
We have a business requirement where in we have to block sales order at item level if we put a block in sales contract item level.
I have tried using reason for rejection in contract but still system let me create a sales order and proceed with delivery with a reason for rejection in contract at item level, I get a warning message though..

For one thing, true call blocking (ie. where the call NEVER actually connects through to your number) can only be done by the service provider at their switches.
The best a device can do is allow the call to connect, and then use the caller ID information to compare that to a list of allowed and a list of disallowed caller IDs. That is a feature known as blacklisting, but it is not the same as actually blocking a call completely.
So as suggested, contact your carrier and ask what they can do for you.
