Contract Connection reports in LMS 3.2

I'm attempting to run this report and it's not recognizing my id/password.
However on my old server which is running LMS 3.1 this report runs fine. I'm not mistyping my id/password I have confirmed that I'm not. See screenshot of error is this a bug?

This is a known issue. Development is working on it to correct the Cisco.com side so it reports the correct contracts. As of now, there is no workaround within LMS.

    Just wondering if this is a bug or a feature request...
    When doing contract connection reports, my various smartnet contracts show up. But I can only ever select one contract at a time to run a report against.
    Is it possible to be able to select all contracts to run agasint all devices, this way I can see from one report that all my devices are covererd under any of my contracts.

    You may get more detail by enabling debug logging for Contract Connection.
    RME > Admin > System Preferences > Application Log Level Settings
    Set ContractConnection to Debug
    Retry then check the log at NMSROOT\log\contractcon.log
    ...don't forget to turn off Debug when finished

    I have a problem in my RME CiscoWorks.
    I need generate reports with the Contract Connection of RME 4.3 "Contract Connection Reports", but, I get the following error message:
    CCX0005:You do not have Cisco Services contracts registered to your Cisco.com user ID. Register your contracts with the Cisco Service Contract Center and try again. For more information, refer to Contract Connection FAQ in the Appendix of User Guide for Resource Manager Essentials .
    however, I have in my account (cisco.com/Cisco Service Contract Center) several contracts registered. This same account is used on RME.
    what can be the problem?

    Essentially you should upgrade you LMS to version 3.2.1 where this issue should be fixed, as LMS older versions has some bugs due to which it happened.

  • LMS 4.2.3 Contract Connection has contracts but no devices in the report

    I am performing an assessment tht includes maintenance contract information. My client entered his CCO credentials and over a dozen contracts appeared in the window. When I select just one or all of them I get no records on the report. He is able to open Cisco TAC cases on all devices and I have all of the serial numbers in the inventory so what am I missing?

    In order for the device to allow SNMPv3 vlan context-based queries to be processed, the
    following must be added to the configuration for EVERY vlan that you want user tracking to
    collect information on:
    “snmp-server group v3 context vlan-X” (where X
    is the vlan number)
    Perform the following on the switch to help show which vlans require this command:
    "show snmp context"
    Solution: Configure the switch to allow vlan context queries.

    Single Contract Details report is a very huge report it is split into tabs. Navigation between these tabs is possible with a menu bar at the top of the report. Each tab has its own name and located there as a link. By clicking on it the tab is shown.
    This report is a special type of report name as drill down report. Due to the Crystal limitation that a report can only contain one sub report, AOL used java component to call single contract report

    This is the only report of this type in AOL which is using the drill down functionality in crystal and now we are investigating the performance issue for this report, we have checked all possible area (java, crystal report) where we can improve the performance for this report.
    We thought if we can replace the java component with crystal and directly crystal report will connect to single contract report using hyperlink, it may increase the performance but due to the Crystal limitation that a report can only contain one sub report we are not able to do this approach.

    How can I create a report were I can see if a contract has been changed or cancelled? I use VA45 to see contracts, I would like to run a report to see if there has been any changes on the contracts of if they have been cancelled, thank you soooooo much if you can help me

  • Adobe Connect as an LMS and Adobe Captivate html 5

    We are using Adobe Connect as an LMS.
    We can create and publish Adobe Captivate modules as html 5,
    Our problem is iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) can't access the courses through adobe Connect's courses and content because it is flash based and not supported by iOS.
    The result is we have html 5, we can publish it to Adobe Connect, iOS devices can use the link to run the course, but we can't use it with the Adobe Connect Course displays.
    Has any found a way to do that?

    Thank  you for your request. I asked my developer for moire information - here are his clarifications for my question:

    Technically it's Adobe Connect itself and a curriculum on Adobe Connect that are giving us the problem. I just borrowed an iPad and tried to login to Adobe Connect. I can't even login - it tells me I need to download Flash.
    So the issue doesn't have anything to do with Captivate, it's Adobe Connect. We don't need to share any content - just try to login to Adobe Connect and you get stopped right there.
    The real issue is
    iOS users can't access HTML5 content on Adobe Connect because they can't login to Adobe Connect - that requires Flash. That means Adobe Connect isn't acting as an LMS, it's just a web server holding two kinds of content that you can link to. How can we login to Adobe Connect from an iOS device to see the list of curricula and access the courses they contain as an LMS with reporting, etc.?

    Question:  Using Adobe Acrobat - Is it possible to execute JavaScript to report to LMS to track pdf was viewed?
    What I would like to do is to create a pdf with an Acknowledgement button that when click will report (via JavaScript) to the LMS (Learning Management System) that the end user viewed/acknowledged the pdf.
    Can this be down with JavaScript in this fashion?

    Thanks, (My fault, as I should have specified this.) Due to legacy reasons I need to use ie, and so I can't use the PrintPdf firefox plugin. So from reading the rest of that thread, the best method does seem to be to get hold of a copy of acrobat, and add a Print() script in each file, and open it in a new tab.
    At least it gives me somethigin to try anyway :-)

    I found a link on the captivate blog that talks about captivates reports scores and not the percentage. Although I have captivate version 5.5. I would like to report the percentage of this module instead of the score. do I still need to download the patch inorder to report a percentage?

  • Limiting SSH connections on Prime LMS

    Is there a way to limit number of concurrent SSH connections that Prime LMS 4.2 makes to devices? Periodically it occupies all of VTY lines. I know I can restrict access to particular VTY lines by 'access-class' command, but I'd rather want to limit number of simultaneous connections on Prime LMS. Is it possible?

    On Prime it is not possible to limit the number of opened connections. However, there is an issue with Prime 4.2 that some type of jobs are not releasing SSH connections ( "CSCsy22242    ConfigMgmtServer leaves TCP sockets open to security context devices"). You will need to install SP1 for Prime 4.2 (will be available withing 2-3 weeks on cisco.com) to fix this issue.

  • Branched scenario with passing score required will not report in LMS (Connect)

    I have a couple scenario modules as a part of a large curriculum assembled in Connect. The problem is that some of the Captivate files won't report correctly in Connect.  I've tried multiple things to troubleshoot.  All projects upload to the server successfully.  The only thing that the projects that won't report correctly have in common is that they all use the advanced answer option and were developed in 5.5 and were moved to 6.0 when the changover happened.  Other files in the curriculum that were developed in 5.5 have had no issue with the upgrade. I assume the problem is a new setting that 6.0 now has that wasn't available in 5.5 but can't figure out what it is.
    Some modules use advanced answers with the action of "continue" and "show feedback message" checked.
    Some modules use advanced answers to branch by using "jump to slide" where they see a whole feedback slide (no feedback message selected).  Then, the feedback slide has a button on it that will report the score desired for that answer (the best way I could figure out how to make it do what I wanted it to do in 5.5). 
    ...Either way when the module uses advanced answers the project will not report correctly.
    I have a passing score required on these modules.  When going through the project, the whole thing works great.  The quiz review slide at the end will tell you that you got 13/13 or whatever the final score is.  The projects are set to close upon clicking the continue button on the last slide.  Upon close, you're brought back to Connect and the curriculum page will say that you had 1/Unlimited attempts and score is N/A.
    Why won't the score report? I'm very confused by this.  Any help/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

    Additional information;
    The Micro-cell never is handed a DHCP IP address by the RV320, so it seems the Micro-cell cannot continue with its boot-up - only gets to power light and intermittent blinking internet / network light. Conversely, when Micro-cell is connected to one of other routers listed in this post it receives a DHCP lease within a minute and continues to successfully boot-up and connect to AT&T service, therefore all its status lights go solid green.

    My company is going to be using adobe captivate for its online training for our distributors. Is adobe connect the best when to monitor scores and tests for that? What is the cost on this as well?

    That question is more difficult to answer than it may seem. Connect does a great job of tracking and monitoring scores with Captivate content, but it shouldn't be called an LMS... Maybe LMS light is a better term.
    Captivate should report well to any LMS though, so the better question is do you need an LMS, and how big is your budget for an LMS? I won't get into pricing here, as that is not a forum appropriate conversation, and you shouldn't say your budge here .
    I'll contact you off forum and we can discuss how Connect may or may not fit into your plans for Captivate.
