Contract Creation in SAP SRM

Hi,
We are on SRM 5.0 and intend to use contract management functionality. Please let us know if :
1)we can create local contracts in Classic and Extended classic scenarios
2) Can we create GOA in both the scenarios
3) Can we distribute GOA to ECC system in both the scenarios.
Thanks,
Venky

1)we can create local contracts in Classic and Extended classic scenarios
Local contract is only Extended classic .Local contract is not link with ECC system .
2) Can we create GOA in both the scenarios
yes. GOA is not source of supply.  Only ECC contract is a source of supply.
3) Can we distribute GOA to ECC system in both the scenarios.
Yes.

  • Technical Help on creation of an Object in SAP SRM 4.0

Being on SAP SRM 4.0, we currently have a requirement for creation of Need Definition( Basically a build up for the contract ). Need being collected from the Backend systems need to be validated and approved by Buyers & Lead Buyers in the SRM system.
Technically, this task is broken down to below tasks.
    1) Creation of need definition screen - Basically a template where a need can be created with Items, Sub Items and other related information
    2) Selection Screen for Buyers and Lead Buyers - This enables the the Buyers to select the Need Definition assigned to them based on the status.
    3) Report - List of all the Need Definition( Item and Sub Item)satisfying the selection of step 2. with the possibility to navigate to the Need Definition screen ( Step 1) upon selection.
    Now the question is,
what technology is recommended for the above Tasks? We thought it would be BSP but do you guys have any suggestions...
Do we have any issues in displaying the report in BSP? please let me know
Remember we are version 4.0 of SRM.
    Thanks in Advance..
    Mohan.

Even though I don't have much knowledge on BSP, it should be a good option. Since SAP has used BSP to develop new screens in SRM 5.0.

  • SAP SRM Contracts Vs SAP CLM Contract

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Can you guys please tell me the difference between SAP SRM Contracts and SAP CLM Contracts.
In which factors SAP CLM serves better than SAP SRM??
Why SAP CLM came into existence when we have SRM Contracts? What are the draw back and what is not achieved with SRM Contracts?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hello Sanjay
There are many differences, SAP CLM Contract run in Sourcing and SAP SRM Contracts run in SRM.
    Advantages CLM Contracts:
    - Establish a contract as a result of a project
    - build the draft agreement from a template
    -   - Create your own folder structure to organize your contract attachments
        - Transfer quickly attachments between the different folders
    -   - Download easily multiple attachments with a single click
    - Administrator can create new customer fields (extensions) and customer tables (extension collections) for all      master agreements or specific master agreements
         - New customer fields are immediately available in the UI and as a search parameters
          - All is done via configuration, therefore no upgrade issues
         - Generation of contract document out of master agreement
         - Template Library with approved legal contract templates for quick contract generation
         -  Possibility to provide end user with flexibility to modify the provided content from the template during contract creation
          - Adjust contract by adding or removing of clauses and sections to the content provided by the selected contract template
          - Multiple content options (alternative clause content) available to provide end user with controlled flexibility
          - Automated transfer of master agreement meta data into generated contact document
          - Creation and transfer of line item table into contract document
    -     - Creation of a unique barcode on the contract header
          - Contract negotiation with clause changes in MS Word are tracked in the contract repository
          - Change of meta data like Agreement Effective Date in MS Word possible and transfer back to master agreement in repository
          - etc
The are the possibility to integrate CLM contract to SRM Contracts

  • SRM 7.01 Backend Contracts creation with XI/PI ESOA Service

Hello, we are implementing SRM 7.01 PPS with Extended Classic Scenario. We need to create contracts backend contracts ( ECC) from RFX RESPONSE at SRM. As we have ECC 6.0 EHP 5 we have to use Esoa services. The problem is that we have set up PI but no contract is created at ECC ( not even in SRM) when we pressed button "  create contracts" from rfx response even thought the message at SRM is " contracts XXXXXX created" I think we are missing some customizing in ECC.
We have already implemented badi BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
I read note 1268821 who explains that we have to activate business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 in ECC but I think this only apply for "CENTRAL CONTRACTS" and we dont want to use central contracts. We just want to creates contracts at ECC from rfx response in SRM. I couldn´t find any documentation about this, just for Central Contracts or backend contracts creation (through idocs) . Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Best Regards
    Liam

The first interface that try to get out from SRM was " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1", thus based on this interface we made the configuration on PI. So, after pressing button " create contract" on srm if we execute tx SXI_MONITOR in SRM we found the interface " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1" and in the backend system ( ECC) at tv SXI_MONITOR we found interface PurchasingContractERPRequest_In_V1 for this contract with black and white flag ( processed successfully) but no contract created in ECC not even SRM.
Anyway we have checked that inbound proxy  is executed but we dont see any contract created
Is this the right Interface? We are missing something?
Best regads and thanks again for your help!

  • SRM contract creation date

    Hi, y'all
Reckon where contract creation date is in SRM?  What table is it on?
I've Googled and Googled.  Can't find a clue.
Any documentation on the tables in SRM?
    Thanks.

    Hi Perry,
    How about table CRMD_ORDERADM_H?
You should be able to find the creation date time of SRM document in this table.
Please let me know if I have any misunderstanding of your query.

  • How to create contract in SAP-SRM via a bespoke?

    Hi All,
I got one requirement to create contract in SAP-SRM via a bespoke interface from the sourcing workbench.
How to create contract in SRM via a bespoke?
Even I don't know what is a bespoke. I belong to SAP bw platform
    kindly give me the solution.
    Thanx in advance,
    Ravi.

    Hi
    <b>Bespoke</b> <u>means</u> <b><u>Customer development</u></b>.
So you can create Shopping carts, either automatically via logging to SRM portal or programmatically using Bespoke developments / programs.
<b>BAPI Function module -  'BBP_PD_SC_CREATE_EXTERNAL' is used to create shopping cart from portal with other function modules.</b>
<u>Also you can use RFC BBP_PD_SC_CREATE function module for Creating Shopping Cart.</u>

  • Idoc settings for Backend Contract creation in SRM 5.0

    Hello,
Im working on SRM 5.0 (HP 11) and want to create a Backend contract in R/3 (46C) directly.
I do not need Local Contracts or GOAs en SRM!
As I interprete the config guide for Sourcing (page 59 and 70-75, the scenario I need uses the BADIs:
    BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS   (determining Back End System)
BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE (for Mapping SRM settings with R/3)
I also understand that the Idoc configuration only needs to be done in the backend!!?  (page 73 / 74)
    Trx: WE42 and WE20.
Is this correct? Or do I have to maintain also the the IDOCs config in the SRM system?
    Thanks for any clue.

  • Material creation process in SRM-MDM

    Dear All,
I am new to SRM. Please correct me about material creation procedure in SRM if I am wrong:
Normally in classic/extended classic scenario, material first created in MM and then it replicated to SRM. Base on configuration setting for number range, system either create the product ID same as material number number in SRM when it replicated into SRM. In final steps, the product information will upload into MDM either XI integration or manually via excel upload.
    My question:
+ Is it possible to automatic create product without XI via T.Code - MDMGX in MDM.
+ If the replicated product ID of SRM is different then MM material number, which number we should consider for creating product
       MDM.
    Thanks in advance.
    BR
    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,
Answer1) You can only replicate Product Groups, Currencies and Unit of Measures through t-code MDMGX. XI/PI is required for Contract and Product Catalogs.
Answer 2) If the replicated product ID of SRM is different then MM material number, you should enter MM material number and in External Web Service Configuration for that internal catalog, uncheck  "Do not check Product" indicator so that SRM will not check the Product ID and when item goes to backend system, it will have correct MM material number.

  • PO creation Indicator in SRM

    Hi Experts,
I have a question for you?
Where can i find the PO creation indicator in SRM?
We are in Extended Classic scenario. POs are created from Shopping carts either manually by Purchaser from SOCO or autmatically by the system for catalog items & for items with Contract.
I want to know whether there are any status indicators for a PO in SRM from which i could know whether the PO was created manually or automatically...similar to the field we have in EKKO for a R/3 PO.
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers - Aakash

    Hello Aakash,
You can determine whether PO hasbeen created automatically from a preceeding document or created manually at line item level only. If the PO is created from a preceeding documents like shopping cart then the fields SRC_GUID and SRC_OBJECT_TYPE of the table BBP_PDIGP will be filled. If the PO is created manually then these fields will be empty.
Hope this will answer your question.

  • Multiple contract creation in ECC from a single GOA

    Hi Experts,
I am working on a solution regarding to GOA in SRM - Contract in ECC creation and i am wondering about the following scenario:
Create 1 GOA in SRM 5.0 for a central/global purchasing organization and when the appropriate BADI going to transfer it into ECC, it creates contracts for all company codes.
At my current client they use GOA but until now they created 1 GOA for a specific p.org and the BADI transferred (and created) contract in ECC for the specific company code (they donu2019t have kind of central/global purch organization unit in ppoma). In the future they would like to create GOAs which are usable for all companies, but instead of creating (and changing) them manually (N GOA in SRM for N contract in ECC) they want to have an automatism.
Does any of you have any experience on this? That would be really good if you can share with me some high level overview about concept.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Best Regards,
    Attila

    Hi,
Let me correct if i am right:
    - Central Contract -> new concept of SRM 7.0. 1 contract which is visible and usable from ECC and SRM as well. (not available in SRM 5.0 - agree)
    - GOA -> it exist in SRM 5.0 for sure! (we are currenlty using it for ECC procurement).
The solution what you are mentioned is good...but as you said only for SRM 70...we are in SRM 5.0 and we need solution for here. Do you have any idea?
Currently i am thinking about a new solution based on "standard" functionalities: if a GOA need to be created for mulitple company, it has to be populated in Header distribution (all company will have the same contract header). It item detail all the required information need to be poupulate in SRM (i.e.: item 1 for p.org1/comp.cod1; item 2 for p.org2/comp.cod2).
When this is done, the BADI need to check the informatoin in SRM GOA and create contract according to that -> in this case 1GOA is created, but the 2 items for totally different p.org/comp.code, the BADI needs to create 2 different contract in ECC (i would like to avoid using reference purchasing organization in ECC!
    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Attila

  • SAP EP 6.0 SP12 Integration with SAP SRM 4.0

    Hi Buddys,
When I am trying to create system in SAP EP for the backend SAP SRM Server using SAP Wizard in SAP EP, and testing the connection with test connection option, test is always failing.
In system creation wizard (SAP system for dedicated application server), values for connector, user managemnet have been maintained as mentioned in How to guides for SAP EP and alias for system has been created.
SAP EP has been installed with option to use SAP Backend SRM Server for Users. After SAP EP Installation, all SAP users in back end SAP SRM can be seen in SAP EP.
    Software versions:
    SAP EP :  EP 6.0 SP12
    SAP J2EE Engine : J2EE engine 6.4 SP13
    O/S : Windows 2003 Server
SAP SRM : SRM 4.0 on SAP WAS 6.4
Your help in this regard is much appreciated.
    Regards,
    Prasad

    Hi Venkat,
When you create a system choose "SAP system using dedicated application server".
The minimum parameters for creating the system are
    application host
    Logical System Name -
    Logon method - UIDPW
    SAP System ID
    SAP CLIENT
    SAP System Number
    server port
    System NAme
    System type - SAP_R3
user mapping type - admin, user
Create an alias, specify the userid and password for the system in Personalization and then do the test for the connection.
Even then if it fails you can go to Sys Admin--> Support --> Sap Application --> SAP Transaction
choose the system, specify the tcode, specify the gui type and hit go. If you execute the transaction code then the connection is OK.
    Hope this helps,
    Thanks,

  • Establishing a connection between SAP SRM and MM

    Dear All,
I am working  for a multi-national company  and now we are thinking to implement SAP SRM  but I have some questions about  communication between SAP MM and SRM. Firstly I want  so share with you our as-is status and then my doubts and question that I have.
In our case we have two different locationed organizations which are using different version of SAP system and SAP MM. In this  two sap system mostly codes are  and descriptions are different for  all materials and  now we want  gather all data and we want to have  one global code system and (local code also will remain). I mean we want  to call same materials with one global unique code instead of two different codes. We  are thinking to implement  something like coding center that will take local master data from local organization then will assign global code, update table then  with somehow will update SAP SRM.
    For example:
We have local  master data on R/3 is maintained manually by local user and net item is created locally each country by local user.Coding center will be aware of new creation by mail, automatically. Coding center will update table (adding a new row for each new item) on translator (tool for assigning global code for materials) assign to each new item a global code and category and in this way SRM will be updated automatically based on translator.
I am thinking to develeop a tool (excel, access… etc.) that will take new item creation manually or auto from local organization  then will assign a global code and category then will update SAP SRM automatically
Regarding to  tool I have some questions:
    1)     which are the standard communication channel between R/3 and SRM or How  they can speak with each other ?
    2)     Is there any standart batch file (BI or BAPI)  to be able to perform this.Is it possible to develop tool using excel or access …etc. which will manage coding task.
    3)     When we are trasferring for the first time Master Data from MM to SRM is there any standard transaction?
    4)     how the two MD are aligned (i.e. what if a new item is created or modified on MM)?
    5)     standard program (transaction) for aligning  available ?
    6)     ) how this process can be triggered (scheduled using SAP scheduler, event or user driven)
    7)     Where the translator  (tool) should be (R/3 local, SRM, BW, other) --> Enrichment table
    8)     How we can build the communication transaction?
    Thank you very much
Any comments and answers will appreciated and rewarded
    Regards,

    Hi,
Have you considered using CCM. You generally use an industry standard code (perhaps UNSPSC) in CCM as your vendors would all have different number (similar to your scenario). CCM is a plug-in to SRM, supplied by SAP.
The authoring tool is where you can enrich your catalogue, and have approval dependant on rules that you setup. In your case you would possibly have a catalogue per locationed organisation (or R/3 system). These would then be mapped to a master catalogue, and assigned to users as views. This tool is a BSP on SRM. You could also upload these catalogues from Excel (as a CSV) or through XI as XML. We use the automatic transfer of materials from R3 and then there is a report in SRM to feed that through to the catalogue.
The only thing that needs to be thought through is how you feed the selected catalogue item back to the differing R3 systems, but this shouldn't be a stumbling point.
    Cheers
    Rob

  • N level-Approval for contract workflow (WS14000148) in SRM

    Hi SDN'rs
I want to activate N level-Approval for contract workflow (WS14000148) in SRM
When I am creating the contract in SRM I can see the approvers in the approval preview.
But when I release the contract and look at the approval privew there are no approvers
and the status of the contract is released.
We are on SRM Server 5.5 and SP 07.
    Here what I did
    1. I implemented the BADI 'BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI' using the sample implementation and populated the approvers.
    2. I activated events SAVED,CHANGEVERSIONSAVED for WS14000148 in OOCU transaction.
    3. I see event linkages for WS14000148 for both events SAVED,CHANGEVERSIONSAVED in SWE2 transaction.
    4. I assigned role SAP_EC_BBP_PURCHASER to for subworkflow N step for contract WS14000147.
( User who is creating contract has this role)
    5. Consistency check for WS14000148 is green and WS14000147 is yellow in SWUD
    6. Event simulation for BUS2000113 and events SAVED,CHANGEVERSIONSAVED shows WS14000148 successfully started.
I see dump in ST22 with errors TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED and SYSTEM_NO_SHM_MEMORY with WF-BATCH is this any thing to do with that?
If any one know what are the steps I am missing please let me know.
    Thanks

  • Waring messages for PO Date in the contract creation?

    Hi Friends,
Expecting answers with some functional knowledge,
I am developing one webservice to create value contract from dotnet front end,
So user can enter inputs from that front end and he will get SAP generated value contract id.
Here I did validations for all the fields and giving error messages to restrict user to dont give incorrect values.
    Now coming to my issue..,
While entering the PO Date in the initial screen of contract creation,
    If I enter future date,
The purchase order date lies in the future. Please check
If I enter the past date.,
The purchase order date is in the past. Please check
I will get warning messages like this, so what should i do, I can enter, today's date to avoid these messages,
And I can neglect these two messages to proceed, as they are warings only.
But in my case , Can i process these messages to front end, Is it mandatory.
I want to know the intention of these messages, then i will take good decision on this...,
    Thanks,
    Naveen.I

    Hi..,
       Thanks for your attention..,
After consulting some people on this issue, I got that..,
Mostly PO Date is current date, but in the case of purchage receiving process is late then the date may be in past..,
Similerly, because of some business reason we can create contract before receiving of purchage order, where order should
must get, in this case user can enter future date.
So as if it is not special case user creates contrat with po date as current date, system gives some warning!!
Better to pass this messages to front end if we are using webservices or some thing like other technolgies.
welcome to other comments on this..
    Thanks,
    Naveen.I
