Contract creation with RFQ

Hi,
For consignment process RFQ cannot be created, but contracts can be created for consignment process.
when I am creating contract for item category K (Consignment) and then adopting the details by reference to RFQ, then item category field gets greyed out.
why it is happening like this?
firstly you cannot create RFQ for consignment process then if you want to adopt the details from RFQ to create consignment contract then this field is getting greyed.
then why the option create with reference is given in contract?
thanks

Hi Ragavendra,
Refer to first point :  1)Standard SAP  Doc type "AN"  for RFQ not allows to create Consignment RFQ ,, so you you need to create your doc type and enable " K" consignment item ctg for your doc type..  then you can create Consignemnt RFQ,,
2)w.r.to this rfq u can contract,,
for your second query:
Contract can be created w.r.to RFQ for other item ctg.. like Standard,, service (D)and third party(S)
hope this will answer your queries..
Please reward the justified points ,,if this clarifies you.
bye,,

  • SRM 7.01 Backend Contracts creation with XI/PI ESOA Service

Hello, we are implementing SRM 7.01 PPS with Extended Classic Scenario. We need to create contracts backend contracts ( ECC) from RFX RESPONSE at SRM. As we have ECC 6.0 EHP 5 we have to use Esoa services. The problem is that we have set up PI but no contract is created at ECC ( not even in SRM) when we pressed button "  create contracts" from rfx response even thought the message at SRM is " contracts XXXXXX created" I think we are missing some customizing in ECC.
We have already implemented badi BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
I read note 1268821 who explains that we have to activate business function LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 in ECC but I think this only apply for "CENTRAL CONTRACTS" and we dont want to use central contracts. We just want to creates contracts at ECC from rfx response in SRM. I couldn´t find any documentation about this, just for Central Contracts or backend contracts creation (through idocs) . Any idea?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Best Regards
    Liam

The first interface that try to get out from SRM was " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1", thus based on this interface we made the configuration on PI. So, after pressing button " create contract" on srm if we execute tx SXI_MONITOR in SRM we found the interface " PurchasingContractERPRequest_Out_V1" and in the backend system ( ECC) at tv SXI_MONITOR we found interface PurchasingContractERPRequest_In_V1 for this contract with black and white flag ( processed successfully) but no contract created in ECC not even SRM.
Anyway we have checked that inbound proxy  is executed but we dont see any contract created
Is this the right Interface? We are missing something?
Best regads and thanks again for your help!

  • Sales Order Creation with reference to Contract

    Hi all ,
    Existing Setup in the System:
    1)  I have a contract created with a validity period of 30 days. When i create sales order with reference to contract, then i get a pop-up box, from the box i can select my contract.
    2) I have a Lead time configured as 5 days for the Sales document type , I,e when I create sales order I can see my Requested delivery date is always system date + 5 days.
    3) I have a Pricing date configured as Today’s date. Therefore when I create sales order I can see pricing date becomes the system date.
    Execution of Sales Order:
    4) When I create Sales Order with reference to contract document. Always Requested Delivery date is compared with Contract Validity Dates.
    Example: Contract Validity 01/03/2008   -    31/03/2008
Sales Order: Sales Order Creation date -> 19/03/2008, Pricing Date: 19/03/2008 Requested delivery date 24/03/2008.
    REQUIREMENT IS:
But my requirement is when i create Sales Order it should consider System date or Pricing Date( since pricing date is today date)  for to compare with contract validity dates.
Can it be done with standard config or do we need to some type of custom?  Appreciate your help
    Thanks

    Hi ,
As said when I create Sales Order with reference to contract document. Always Requested Delivery date on Sales Order is checked against Contract Validity Dates.

  • Po Creation With Reference to contract

    Dear Experts
We are creating the purchase order with reference to contract the contract quantity not copied to po. it is asking to enter the qty. but it should copy the contract quantity. the same contract price also not copied to po. it is copying from the info record price.
my scenario is at the time of po creation with reference to contract it should copy the contract qty and price any copy control assignment is there or any other settings required.
    Please help
    Regards
    Anand

    Hi,
If a contract with one of your principal vendors exists for a material, you can create purchase orders referencing this contract. Purchase orders created in this way are called contract release orders.
The price, vendor data,  terms of payment, delivery costs, and any instructions to the vendor are adopted from the contract automatically.
If  you have created the contract & info records is also exists  then system will give priority to contract to determine the conditions.
Please check the source list ,whether contract is maintained over there or not.
    Thanks,
    AMIT

  • Purchase order creation with reference to Contract

    Dear All
Purchase order creation with reference to quantity contract the contract quantity is not copied in to po. any configuration copying rules required. please guide
    Regards
    Anand.

    Hi Buddy
The correct business process is RV Preq created by a user from any department then buyer converts this Preq to a MK contract with some quantity keeping the duration as some months/year. Then as and when material mentioned in the contract is required during the validity period of the contract MRP creates Preq or buyer manually creates NB preqs , same are then converted to PO but these PO are released against MK contract. So qty in PO are different then mentioned in contract because contract is for  a large qty keeping in mind the duration (for example one year).

  • Automatic creation of rfq against pr reference?

    dear mm experts,
i would like to know whether std sap - mm allows automatic creation of rfq against pr reference.
i have a requirement user creates prs for materials, and rfq have to have to generated/created automatically after pr is saved. is this possible with std sap spro settings
    pl help
    thanks in advance
    srihari

If you refer the same document on the following link you see that RFQ is not automatically
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/75/ee1fa755c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm
What does their mean automatically is
using the assign and process you can create RFQ. but not like Auto PO using Me59n
    Creating RFQs
To create RFQs, you must generate a basic list via Requisition ® Follow-on functions ® Assign + process.
From the basic list, you can flag a requisition for RFQ processing. Select a requisition and choose Edit ® Flag for RFQ ® With vendor or Without vendor.
Choose Goto ® Assignment overview to access the assignment overview screen. Position the cursor on the text Flagged for RFQ processing and choose Edit ® Process assignment.
A dialog box for the creation of RFQs appears.
Enter the deadline for submission of quotations and check other relevant data, such as the purchasing organization.
When you press ENTER, you will obtain an overview of the purchase requisitions that have been flagged for RFQ processing.
Select the items that are to be adopted in the RFQ.
Adopt the selected items in the RFQ.
u2013 If you wish to change the selected items before adopting them, choose Edit ® Selections ® Adopt + details. The relevant item detail screens will then appear, allowing you to make the desired changes.
u2013 To adopt the selected items without changes, choose Edit ® Selections ® Adopt.
The item overview for the RFQ to be created is displayed with the adopted items.
If you have flagged the requisition for RFQ processing without a vendor, or if you wish to issue RFQs to another vendor, assign the RFQ to a vendor and save the document.
Repeat this process for each vendor to whom the RFQ is to be issued.
For more information on the creation of RFQs, refer to the section Creating RFQs.

  • Material Variant Matching in Sales Order Creation with ref.to Sales Order

    Hi All,
We are working in Variant configuration. Our product is defined at PQD(Product, Quality & Dimension).
But, Sales Contracts are created at PQ (Product, Quality/Grade ) level only.
We have defined Variant Characteristics GRADE(ALLOY CODE),DIMENSION AND TWO MATERIALS.
    MAT 1 , configurable material.
MAT 2, A Material Variant of MAT 1, Having values of GRADE = A & DIMENSION = 150 in MRP 3 view of the same.
When a Sales Order is created for MAT 1  and its characteristics values are GRADE = A, DIMENSION = 150, Material Variant type matching happens & it replaces the configurable material.
Similarly,Sales  Contract is created for Configurable material MAT 1, with only GRADE = A ( As mentioned above, only quality is known at contract creation level). But, when we are trying to creart a Sales Order with reference to this Contract, we are trying to punch characteristic Value for DIMENSION = 150 also. At this stage, Materuial Variant MAT 2 is shown, but it is not replacing MAT 1.
Is this the standard behaviour or there is some solution/enhancement available.
    regards,
    Stuti

    Dear Vijay,
in incompletion procedure we can arrange to check whether any field is empty, here data comparison is not possible.
As far as I know you can not achieve this through standard config.
To achieve your requirement, you will need to take help of an ABAPer, it can be achieved using Userexit.
    ABAPer can use include MV45AFZZ
    and Userexit ""USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT".
the code written in this userexit will check and compare the quantities before saving the dcument.
Logic if quantity enter is greater than the quantity mentioned in Contract show warning Message.
I hope this solves your Problem.

    Paresh

  • Waring messages for PO Date in the contract creation?

    Hi Friends,
Expecting answers with some functional knowledge,
I am developing one webservice to create value contract from dotnet front end,
So user can enter inputs from that front end and he will get SAP generated value contract id.
Here I did validations for all the fields and giving error messages to restrict user to dont give incorrect values.
    Now coming to my issue..,
While entering the PO Date in the initial screen of contract creation,
    If I enter future date,
The purchase order date lies in the future. Please check
If I enter the past date.,
The purchase order date is in the past. Please check
I will get warning messages like this, so what should i do, I can enter, today's date to avoid these messages,
And I can neglect these two messages to proceed, as they are warings only.
But in my case , Can i process these messages to front end, Is it mandatory.
I want to know the intention of these messages, then i will take good decision on this...,
    Thanks,
    Naveen.I

    Hi..,
       Thanks for your attention..,
After consulting some people on this issue, I got that..,
Mostly PO Date is current date, but in the case of purchage receiving process is late then the date may be in past..,
Similerly, because of some business reason we can create contract before receiving of purchage order, where order should
must get, in this case user can enter future date.
So as if it is not special case user creates contrat with po date as current date, system gives some warning!!
Better to pass this messages to front end if we are using webservices or some thing like other technolgies.
welcome to other comments on this..
    Thanks,
    Naveen.I

  • How to Crete PO reference with RFQ(Quotation)...?

    Hi MM Gurus,
How to create Automatic Purchase Order with RFQ(Quotation) ..
is there any T-Code to create at a time around 50 quotations to 100 quotations.
I dont want create every time through ME21N ( Document over view on )...
    Thanks in Advance,
    Anthyodaya.

If you already have created RFQ, then go for PO creation (ME21N). In PO line item , after scrolling towards right you can see RFQ field. Here you put your RFQ no. & next field is Item where you put RFQ item no. & enter.
It will help you to create PO with reference to RFQ.

  • Event creation with status management

Hello esteemed gurus ... it's your friendly workflow noob again
It seems once people get a sniff that there is a someone who knows a bit about workflow in the company, everyone wants a piece of you!
So... I have been asked to setup a workflow that will trigger when a user changes a user status on an SD contract. I've done some reading and I believe I'm nearly there but need a little help ...
I have setup event creation with transaction BSVZ for object category VBK, specified my status profile, and business object BUS2034 and I'm using the event "CHANGED", within this I have set a status restriction to particular status of my user status profile.
In my workflow definition I have specified the start event "CHANGED" for my business object BUS2034.
The thing is, the workflow starts for every change to the contract, whereas I was expecting it to only start when the particular status I defined in my status management was set in the contract header.
Are there any additional settings I need to make in order to restrict the starting conditions of the this workflow?
    Many thanks once again.
    Neil

    Hi Neil,
There is two options to restrict the workflow.
First one is start condition. You can check the workflow log. If your required field is populated in the Workflow container you can use start condition to restrict the workflow. In the Basic data of workflow template, Start condition is there. You can use the condition editor to set the condition.
If your field is not populated by default, then you can use check function module for this. You need to create one FM, and in transaction swe2, the FM needs to be Configured. The concept is, based on the Sales document number you can get the required field and check the condition inside the FM. If the condition satisfied just leave it. The workflow will be triggered. If the condition is not satisfied raise a Exception. So that the Workflow will not be triggered.
    Thanks,
    Viji.

  • QM _Inspection Lot Creation with Move ment type-542

    Dear All,
The Business Scenario is when ever goods received from  Sub contracting vendor with out any processing by 542 movement type the system should create the Inspection lot automatically.
    How can achive this function?
    Your inputs are valuable.
    Regards,
    Manis

IMG - Quality management - Quality Inspection - Inspection lot creation - Inspection for goods movements..
You have to add new entry for movement type 542..
    complete help is available there..
Also you have to activate the related inspection type in QM view in material master.
You can try this in development server. (I am also not an expert in this area).

  • MWST condition type missing in contract creation,VA41

Hi, got a problem here during contract creation. I can't get the MWST show up in the contract condition tab. Analysis result :
010 Access not made (requirement not fulfilled)
Error Message : Pricing error: Mandatory condition MWST is missing
    Things I have done :
    a) checked pricing procedure V/08
    b) created condition records VK11
    c) checked customer tax classification : Liable for taxes
    d) checked material tax data : Full tax
    e) ???
what else did I miss out?
    Thanks
    Andy

Option 1: If you do not want MWST condition as mandatory, then remove the check from check box in the pricing procedure (T.Code: V/08). MWST is tax condition & Tax condition are normally not mandatory, as it may vary according to Business Requirement.
Option 2: <b>"010 Access not made (requirement not fulfilled)"</b>: Check the access sequence maintained for Condition Type MWST (T.Code": V/06). Next, Check the Access Sequence & the access 010 assigned to it. (T.Code:V/07). Check whether Accesses & fields are assigned correctly.
Option 3: Instead of maintaining condition record for access 010, maintain for different combination & check the result. Even in my case, once the access with reference to tax classification did not give desired result, but was achieved bu maintaining another combination.

  • IDOC transfer during Contract Creation

    Hi All,
I have a requirement with the contract creation in SRM contract management.
Do you Know which IDOCs is/are transmitted to the ERP during a contract creation?
    Thanks in Advance!
    Martin.

    Hi Martin,
To add further to Claudia's note, Message Types "BLAORD" & "COND_A" are set-up in ECC as incoming. There is no Mesage Type set-up for these (as OUTBOUND) on SRM side.
In SRM, Message Type "BLAREL" should be set-up as INBOUND. This carries the release information for the contract from ECC to SRM.
    Cheers,
    Akash

  • Equipment creation with PO mandatory

    Hi everyone.
Thank you to provide any suggestion, I have to customize the equipment creation with field PURCHASING DOC. as mandatory field.
PURCHASING DOC. field is in the OTHER view inside of DETAILS
I have to customize this field as mandatory by SOX requirement.
    Thanks for cooperation.
    Regards.

    Dear,
We can create Contract ( Quantity or Value ) w.r.t. Purchase Requisition and Request For Quotation only.
You can not create contract w.r.t. PO.
But you can create PO w.r.t. Contract.
If at all you want to custmize this standard behaviour , then you have to look for some User Exits.
    Take help of ABAP team..
    Hope this helps.
