Contract determination in e-commerce webshop

Hi all,
We are using sales contracts, and customers can order products in the webshop against the contract. Multiple contracts can exist for one customer. If I create an ISBB order in the webUI, a pop-up is presented with the avialable contracts.
However, in the e-commerce, the customer doesn't get the possiblity to choose, but the system determines the contract. The requirement is that also here, the system presents a list to the customer, so he can choose from which contract it should be ordered.
How can I do this? Is there a customizing setting for this?
We are running CRM 7.0.

If you are asking about such a capability when entering the product in the basket, then there is no such feature provided by SAP.
However, in the catalog, any product with multiple contracts, list the contracts in the catalog search results. You can pick the right conract item and add it to the basket.
So, with some custom coding, it is indeed possible to develop this feature.

Service Contract Determination in Follow-Up Transactions

Hi all
in our setup (CRM 2007) we can successfully create Service Orders where Contract Determination on item level takes place and assigns items to contracts. This also works for Service Confirmations, in case we create them as stand-alone transactions.
If we however create a Service Confirmation as follow-up from a Service Order, in which contract determination took place, the contract information is not contained in the Service Confirmation.
Any ideas how to get the contract information over?

Side note: We did not find a copy routine or copy control settings solving our problem - however we might be wrong...

Hi Christian,
If the service order line items are entittled to service contract , at each item level you will get contract info in contract data tab.
when you transfer these items to confirmation , confirmation item contract data will not have contract information. Only when you enter items in confirmation manually then system will pop up window for selection contract and confirmation items get contract information.

Service order Item category on Contract determination

Hi
We have contract determination on CRM service orders and it is working as expected. Our Service contract makes the Service order free of charge but its still generates the debit memo in ECC system with zero value.
We don't want this to happen so a work around will to have the item categories different when the Service order has a contract. These item categories will not be configured for ECC billing integration in R/3 plug-in hence no debit memo will be generated.
My question to Service gurus is that is there another way of achieving this? if not is there a way to flip the item category after contract determination without putting in any code.

I dont think we can flip item category without coding..!. but certainly possible with coding.

Contract determination in service order for PPR items

Hi Experts,
Contract data is not being determined for some items in service order. All these items are assigned to product list in service contract using product range or PPR.
1) PPR is created with the type "sales contract"
2) In the categories section assigned the relevant category ID's
3) PPR is assigned to the service contract under product list.
4) Service order is maintained for contract determination 'D' - determination both at header and item level
5) When a service order is created I see that expected items are not showing the contract data.
Any suggestions - any specific setting I am missing
I found a SAP note for same problem in previous versions of CRM. (5.0 to 5.1)
but we are on BBPCRM 6.0

                i am trying to create a service ticket from WEB IC by confirming Account and Ibase and then creating service request and able to save without error.
            if i end session and open the service request again in change mode and if delete the ibase, then appeas the message
"You should run a new contract selection for item 0000000010", going through OSS notes, but found nothing.
           Contract Determination is set to 'E' : Assign at Item leve : Assign immediately if unique for transaction type ZXXX.
if i open the service ticket in CRMD_ORDER and go in change mode if i click process action button next to error, this will disappear. but it comes when i assing a ibase to the request, so its working only when i create.
any sort of help will be appreciated.

Contract determination form the service order

Hello everyone,
I am working on CRM 5.0 service order and service contracts.
I created an IBase and I assigned it to the products in the service contract on the item level (in object list) and the same I did on the item level in the service order (in object). But When I enter the product in the service order it gives me an error that a "new contract for the item 10 should be run" with execution choice to run it.
After I ran the contract I found the product price is not picked from the service contract and picked form the pricing of the service order and a message in the tab page contract that no contract has been determined
The IBase created contains only the product ID and quantity field and linked with a business partner sold to party
Is it possible to make the contract determination depends only on the organizational structure and sold to party and remove the Ibase form this determination

I want to know why this problem happen the error message "new contract for the item 10 should be run" shows that there is a contract have been determined but the product price is not picked from the service contract and picked form the pricing of the service order and a message in the tab page contract that no contract has been determined

Contract determination on change of Price List Type on Pricing Tab for item

I need to to re-trigger the Contract determination for a document item when the price list is changed. Currently the only BADI i can see this working with is the pricing Badi. The only issue is that I get a linking error when going from no assignment and then changing it so that the item then has a reference to an item on the contract

I have fulfilled this by doing rev acct determination in vkoa using item category and moving it up the order. Also I used a requirement in v/08 for 100% discount on free material.
This has resolved my issue and i am now closing this thread.

Service Contract Determination for material product

Hello,
I am trying to implement service contract determination for a complaint and I observe that the service contract gets determined at the complaint item level only when I add a service type product at the item level and not when I add a product of material type. Is this a system limitation that a service contract can be determined only for a service product or am I missing some configuration? Has anyone else faced a similiar issue?

the contract get determined even after adding product of type material
1.create a srv contract (sc)
2.add product of type material
3. release the contract and save it (note the no.)
4.create a trnx complaint(crmc) maintain the setting fr contract determinition(F)
5.put the product in trnx and ur contract will get determined
see if it suffice ur requirement

Service contract determination for service request

Hi,
is there a way to influence the contract determination in a service request creation process?
The contract should be found if there is one for sold-to-party OR ship-to-party.

Hi Manfred,
I don't know about "Ship-to arty" use in contract determination. AFAIK Sold2-Party, Sales and Service Organization, status of the Service Contract (released), Start and End date and the object list are responsible for the Contract determination. Hence if I'm not wrong a sold2-party must be provided.
There is the CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACT Badi and what we did in our process is to use the Event framework to ensure a contract redetermination after change of the sold2-party. Take a look at CRM_SEARCH_SERV_CONTRACTS_EC for ideas in that direction.

Problem in service contract determination using spare part items

Hi experts
I created a service contract with spare parts in product list, and discont for those spare parts in price agreement. The spare parts item category group is SRVM.
If I then create a serice order and add the spare part as the item of the transaction, depends on item category I put in for the spare part, contract determination may or may not happen. If I put SRVP ( service product) as item category then the contract determin will happen. But SRVP is not allowed for the spare part product. If I use SRVM as item category, then the contract determination will not happen at all.
The questions are
Can contract determination be triggered by item category SRVM? If yes, what do I have to do to make it happen? If no, what item category can I use for spare parts to trigger the contract determination?

Equipment specific contract determination in notification

Hi Guys,
Superior equipment is assign in contract. Superior equipment's contract auto determine when I am creating service notification for sub equipment. I do not wants auto determination of Superior equipment's contract while creating service notification for sub equipment. Please suggest how I can achieve this.

This is standard behaviour. If your superior Equipment assigned to any service contract, while creating service notification for any of its sub ordinate Equipment, system will determine contract
If you don't want this to happen, you can change the settings of your notification type in OIM9
Uncheck the field AUTO CONTRACT DETERMINATION
Uncheck and try to replicate

E-commerce webshop timeout

Hello,
we are running CRM 5.0 with the e-commerce webshop scenario.
whenever users are working on the e-commerce webshop - after about 20-
30 minutes of idle time - the connection is lost and a new connection
to the e-commerce webshop is required.
i wanted to extend the timeout so i changed the following parameters to
the following values -
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=8023,TIMEOUT=10800,PROCTIMEOUT=10800
icm/keep_alive_timeout = 10800
but the timeout remains the same - 20-30 minutes
which parameters should be changed to extend the session timeout

Try editing web.xml file <session-timeout> tag. The timeout value is set in minutes

First of all, thanks for the response.
The question of copy control according to me does not arise; since the contract is not being determined itself. Once the same is determined; I think only then the question of copying arises.
Also had copy control been an issue; then even on entering the item I think contracts would not have been determined. Even though the determination is set to D (which is header and item reference object) still the contracts are being determined only on entering an item in the service order.

Contract Determination in sales

Hi,
I need to determine Contract in my sales order create manually through BADI CRM_SALES_CONTRACTS.
But i am not able to export my contract id into sales order through CONTRACT_SELECTION_1 method in that BADI.

I have already use and test all values of the "outline agreement message" in customizing of sales order and it works very well when sold-to party in the contract and sold-to party in the sales order are the same customer
As said in SAP help ("When you create a contract, you can specify in addition to the sold-to party, the other partners who are authorized to release against the contract using the partner function AA") I have add partners AA in the contract (VA41) and it works but I need to go on the contract tab during creation of the sales orders ...and it will not be possible with sales order created by IDOC so I look for a way to find "AUTOMATICALLY" the contract even if the sold-to party in the sales order is a AA partner of the contract

Service Contract Determination - Multiple sold-to-parties

Hello Gurus,
Can anyone help me on understanding this:
We know that in standard configuration, the sold-to party in the service contract and in the business transaction must be identical.
But It is possible to change someting so that we can assign a service contract to multiple sold-to-parties?
There must be a workaround to do this. Does anyone tried it?

We're using IC Webclient at our customer Call center. We register all contacts made in Interaction Record document, and all service requests in Service Ticket Document.
What we're trying is to define the same SLA agreement for all sold-to-parties partners. We did all configurations relationated with service profile, response profile, product and service contract.
However, SLA calculation only works if the sold-to-party partner of service ticket is the same that in the service contract. So that's why we put this question here.
We already tried to use CRM_SERVICE_CONTRACT and CRM_SRV_SLA_CALCTIME BAdI's, but no luck: they also seem to depend on this verification.
What we're trying to do is to skip this verification. We need to calculate the SLA for all service ticket, no matter what sold-to-party partner is.
Do you think this is achievable?
