Contract end has some changed !  I was already out of contract..... HELP !!!

I started service in October 2012 with 3 lines, I've since added 2 more, a few weeks ago I called what I thought was my local asking about the new LG headsets, somehow I spoke to an Ella at the Corporate Store she told me I qualified for $10 off per line because of the 18gb plan we have, and asked if I wanted to do that (I'm all for saving money) NOW I NOTICED THE CONTRACT END ON ALL MY LINES ARE IN 2015, and I was very specific about asking if this would affect my upgrade.........We've been out of contract since January 2014 and was holding on to it because the S5 was coming out........so what's the deal with that, Ella was very sweet but I didn't want my contract status tapered with.

    Try restoring the device and setting up as new.
    If it is still shows an iCloud activation lock, then it's on an iCloud account
               The wrong device was removed from an iCloud account.
    Check any other Apple IDs you might have at
                 iCloud.com
    Get signed into them and remove that device.
    I wish this was the first time I seen this.

  • The iPhone I got at the Verizon store today was an older iOS then the newest one that was already out. Is that normal?

    The iPhone I got was on Version 6.1 when 6.1.2 had already come out.  Is that because it was shipped at the time was 6.1 was the latest? I thought that I would receive the phone with the latest iOS.

    I'm having trouble signing into my wifi.  Nothing has changed, but suddenly I can't sign onto anything.  Very frustrating.  I've tried to reset the network settings.  That did not help. 

    Reboot your router - unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. See if that helps.

  • I am running FF 6.8 and when trying to download 6.12 I am told I do not have the systems premission to insatall it. I have been using FF for a few years now with out any problems. What has been changed to lock me out of FF upgrades?

    I have downloaded the upgrade and attempted to move it from the application folder to the dock without any luck and when I ask help to check for updates I am told I do not have permission to install updates. I attempted to update FF a couple of months ago and when I encounter this problem I downloaded Safari and installed it. I have tried a couple times along the way to download the upgrade to FF without any luck.

    • Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
    • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.

    Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
    Prior to trying this I opened my Profile Folder and then opened My Account to see if my bookmarks were there - I did not find my bookmarks.

    Last year A friend purchase a iPhone 4S - 32GB White.
    When she purchase iPhone 4S, didnt realised she need to download Find Phone, has she thought it was already in iPhone 4S, system. I approved lots Apple Store in Malaysia, non could help me and all said the same, if you don't download Find Phone, there's no way you can trace it back. No doubt what they all had said is not wrong....but my heart said, am sure there's always a way to track or trace it back even without the Find Phone Apps. Knowing myself don't have such powerful system to find the phone back. Every Poison there's Anti-Dos for it. I know you have the power and system to track & trace the phone back by Apple.     1st: Why build a system which so smart with all serial no and codes, but the "Find Phone" its not one of the Apps for iPhone?
    2nd: Why must customer need to download "Find Phone" Apps and the rest of the Apple Apps in inside the Phone...? Doesn't make sense....
    3rd: In any movie, you watched they will break the phone or throw it away and so they are not able to trace the person but the phone still can be trace or track...unless the person break the chips or put into Fire to destroy it completely, then YES, i believe it can't be trace or track.
    Please kindly in your power to help or advice or bring this up to Apple Team Mind before all perfection to make iPhone....Metta

    try to boot in safe mode, and check there if you have any alternate account (administrator ect) where you can gain access to your window and then change password of it.

    Since this first message, the "Other" space has increased exponentially.  The first time, after the "restore", it increased to over 9 GB.  Later, I tried a minor restore again, and now it's over 10 GB.  I've seen someone suggest that text messages are to blame.  If my text messages are suddenly taking up 4 GB of space, I think we've got bigger problems.

  • Changing a customer exit variable in Step 2 which was already set in Step 1

    Hello,
    i have the following problem.
    There are 2 BEx customer exit variables A and B.
    Variable A is filled in Step 1 before the user dialog appears.
    Variable B is determined in Step 2 in dependence of variable A.
    Now i want to change variable A in dependence of user entry althoug it was already filled in step 1. Can i somehow force the variable manipulation in step 2 for a single variable wich has already been set in step 1?
    Or is there a way to change all variables at once after they have been set e.g. in step 3?

    Hello Alexander!
    It's true: You cannot change values that were entered in step 1. It's a feature This is supposed to make sure that a value that was entered (or confirmed) by the user can never be changed by any piece of coding - customer or SAP. If that possibility existed, then that would create some real issues for reliability and also support.
    What is your scenario that you are trying to solve? Maybe there's another way to do it?

    There are several possible causes for this behavior.
    1. Two (or more) computers on the local network have the same Bonjour name, such as "X's-MacBook-Pro.local". Resolve the name conflict by renaming one or more of them in the Sharing preference pane.
    2. You have two simultaneous connections to the same local network: probably Ethernet and Wi-Fi. If applicable, disconnect the Ethernet cable or turn off Wi-Fi.
    3. A Mac wakes from sleep due to network traffic. This is a bug in OS X that may only affect some models.
    4. A device that gets its network address from the router wakes from sleep, and the address it was using before has been assigned to another device.
    5. A third-party wireless router has incompatible settings or firmware. In that case, refer to the manufacturer or ISP for support. Restarting the router may help, temporarily.

  • What causes cellular data usage to decrease if last reset has not changed? I reset every pay period cuz I do not have unlimited and was showing 125 mb sent/1.2g received. Now showing 98mb sent/980mb received. Last reset still shows same

        I reset my cellular data usage every month at the beginning of my billing period so that I can keep track of how much data I am using thru out the month. I do not have the unlimited data plan and have gone over a few times. It's usually the last couple days of my billing cycle and I am charged $10 for an extra gig which I barely use 10% of before my usage is restarted for new billing cycle. FYI, they do not carry the remainder of the unused gig that you purchase for $10 which I disagree with. But have accepted. Lol  Moving on.
        I have two questions. One possibly being answered by the other. 1. Is cellular data used when I sync to iTunes on my home computer to load songs onto my iPhone from my iTunes library(songs that already exist)? 2. What causes the cellular data usage readings in iPhone settings/general/usage/cellular usage to decrease if my last reset has not changed? It is close to end of my billing cycle and I have been keeping close eye. Earlier today it read around 180mb sent/1.2gb received. Now it reads 90mb sent/980 mb recieved. My last reset date reads the same as before. I don't know if my sync and music management had anything to do with the decrease but i didn't notice the decrease until after I had connected to iTunes and loaded music. I should also mention that a 700mb app automatically loaded itself to my phone during the sync process. Is cellular data used at all during any kind of sync /iPhone/iTunes management? Is the cellular data usage reading under iPhone settings a reliable source to keep track of monthly data usage? Guess turned out to be more than two questions but all related.     1) No.
    2) It does provide an estimated usage, but it's not accurate. For accurate determination, you should check the remaining/used MBs from the carrier (most of the carriers provide this service for free).
