Contradicting messages in PS7 Install logs

Hi - I'm trying to install PS7 on a sparc (v440) solaris 10 platform with plenty of disk space and fully patched. I'm getting strange contradictory errors.
The file /var/sadm/install/logs/Java_Enterprise_System_Summary_Report_install.<date> shows :

And the file /var/sadm/install/logs/Java_Enterprise_System_install.B<date> shows that EVERY package was successfully installed.
Where can I look to see WHY the install failed?

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart.. Reset.. Restore from Backup.. Restore as New...
Try a Reset of the Phone... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...
Turn the Phone On...

Damaged air install, log attached, I'm flummoxed

i´ve done all the recommended actions to restore an Air app (chimpadeedee from mailchimp) that is not working.
OS: XP with Chrome on latest build so it has flash built in.
the message i get is (translatd from spanish) in air alert box as "air installation file is damaged, get a new one fromthe author of the app"

Thanks for letting us know. It looked like your download was corrupted. If you had been installing from the web, I was going to recommend downloading the .air file (from http://mailchimp.com/chimpadeedee/Chimpadeedee.air) and then double clicking to install.

All i get is an install.log in redhat 9.0 for s1studio 4 ce

i was able install sun one studio 4 ce successfully in mandrake 9.1, but under redhat 9.0, i cannot make any successful installation.
i only reach the point wherein the progress bar should start moving, but what appears is just a blank screen with a busy mouse button. if i abort the installation in the shell, all i get is a file named, install.log

on Digital Unix or AIX.

The dxkerneltuner command is one way to raise the number of user
processes on Digital Unix. Steps follow:
<OL>
<LI>Login as root (or su to root) on Digital Unix and execute the
dxkerneltuner command.
An X-Windows window will pop up with a list of
kernel subsystems (tuning categories).

<LI>Double-click the "proc" subsystem.

A child window will pop up, displaying parameters in that category, along with
their associated values and limits. These should include parameters
named "max-proc-per-user" and "max-threads-per-user", which are by default,
64 and 267 respectively.

These should be replaced by values more
consistent with the Messaging Servers resource requirements. Provided
the default Messaging Server installation is used, more appropriate values
for these parameters would be 640 and 2560 respectively.

<LI>To implement
these new values, replace the value 64 with 640 for max-proc-per-user in the
child window and replace the value 267 with 2560 for max-thread-per-user.
<LI>Click OK on the child window and exit the parent window.
<LI>Reboot Digital Unix to implement the kernel changes.

I have bkp OD, trash server.app / reboot / install server.app again and working fine now.

Send message failure when Messages beta is installed

Did you know that in some cases, iMessage on your phone will have send message failures on both sides of the conversation when Messages beta is installed on your Mac? Messages doesn't even need to be running. As long as you have it installed and your computer is running, you'll get the send message failures. Happens to myself and two friends. Just tested this myself.

Error Message, Won't Install from Disc 1

The MacBook started to act up two days ago and became hot. (It was unusually slow, too) After being shut down and left alone for a while, I tried to turn it on. It would sit at the gray Apple start-up screen then would show this screen (http://flickr.com/photos/cdbear/3134787486/) It kept doing this over and over, saying that is it needed to be restarted.
I went through the manual and followed instructions. I tested the Hardware - no problems came up. I reset the pRAM, but that didn't change anything. I settled with using the Mac OS X Disc 1 to re-install everything and start from scratch. The first time I put it in, I chose to Erase & Install. The computer showed this screen (http://flickr.com/photos/cdbear/3139474679/) for a while but ended up showing an error. It said something about the disc not working.
I've tried to re-install a few times, but still, an error of some sort would show up. The latest was this screen (http://flickr.com/photos/cdbear/3140299690/in/photostream/).
What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
As Kappy stated, the original image is of a kernel panic. Curious, did the machine only kernel panic once on you? Or did it happen multiple times? Are you able to even boot into the OS right now or are you still stuck at the Apple logo and then a kernel panic?
If you try to run the installer again, as soon as you start it can you press and hold (simulatenously) the Command + L buttons to bring up the installer log. Then document what the error message says in the log?

Install.log file

Shockwave stopped. So I decided to uninstall and then
reinstall. In Add and Remove Programs in the Control Panel, when
attempting to uninstall, the message "Could not opem Install.log

I then went to another uninstall program, the same message
appeared, but it unintalled Shockwave Player.

Bladin I would recommend looking at your installation log files. If the installation is failing during the initializing phase then you will want to review the PDApp.log file. During boot with LOTS of disk LUNs I get this message:
message overflow on /dev/log minor #5 -- is syslogd(1M) running?
What is the cause of it?
My system is Solaris 10 with up to date patches as of Jan 10/06.

As supporting info that may be helpful, I have a V880 running Solaris 9 (not 10) that is seeing the same issue. This would appear to be a problem that is not limited to just Solaris 10.

My box essentially crashed over the weekend. Not really crashed but I was getting so many of these:

that the box was essentially dead. 10-20 minutes between command outputs.

When I try to open an image by double clicking on it in Bridge, I get a message telling me to log in to Creative Cloud. I am running CS6, and the default should be to open files in Photoshop 6 or in Adobe Raw (if it's a Raw file). I don't want to log in

However, this does not work for older psd files which for some reason cannot be opened in RAW. How do I return to the process of simply allowing RAW files to open automatically in Adobe RAW, and simply right clicking on the image in Bridge to bring up the option of opening it in Photoshop?

Display error message in batch job log

Hello
I have a batch job running and I have an error coming during some validation logic.
The problem is I need to continue the batch job when this error message comes and it should not cancel the batch job as it is doing currently but display that error message in batch job log, there are more similar error messages coming in job log and job gets finished, but when my error message comes job gets cancelled.
I cannot give it as info message as it will give wrong idea about message type.
Is there any FM by which we can add message in job log?

If you see in screenshot 3rd message is given by me as information and you can see error messages also 6th and 7th and job continued till it is finished
