Contribute 6.5 on Maverick Bug? (can't update news page)

Adobe - is there a bug with Contribute 6.5 on Apple Maverick ?
I use 6.5 to update my web page news page - but since the Maverick update I can no longer 'post a draft page'.
Contribute 6.5 opens and its downloads a darft of the news page in Contribute 6.5 here on my laptop - I make alterations updates and then submit the new content but this is as far as it goes (contribute says its saved the draft but its like the page is a ghost and the original news page remains as it is untouched).
I did contact Adobe before Christmas re this subject - but there has been no follow up.
Any ideas?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Our product team knows about the Mavericks incompatibility issue with Contribute and they are working on it as soon as we will have any updates regarding the patch you will be updated about it.

Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until the problem is resolved.

Associate your Apple ID with your user account. Then sign in to the App Store with the same ID.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select

from the contextual menu.* A folder may open with a file named "adoption.plist" selected. If it does, move the file to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Log out, log back in, and test.

I can't update my Pages program it says it is installed and nothing happens?

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Reasons why a phone cannot update:
1. It is a country variant - country variants often get the updates later, or have updates skipped altogether. A Turkish country variant product code for example, skipped v40 and updated from v31 straight to v50.
2. It is network branded - phones acquired from network providers or these providers' stores SIM free are branded, and will not get updates until the networks approve and modify the updates to their liking.
3. Special editions - These special editions are chartered editions and may never get updates unless taken to a Nokia Care center.

1. I cannot find any way to activate a spellcheck for a selection in a document.
2. I want to elemenate a red line under a word it doesn't like the spelling of.

Running Mavericks but can't update iMovie 9.0x-9.09

I went from 10.6.8 -> Mavericks and was running iMovie 9.04- I think the imovie 9.09 update was for Lion so it was never offered as an update.
The less said about the new version of iMovie the better, but it won't let me run on two screens... big fail.
I am using 9.04, and it finds the 9.09 update, but directs to the app store, but the App store doesn't offer it as an update. I manually downloaded the update but it won't run as it tells me I have a newer version, sigh...
I can't find anything obvious in the receipts folder to try and rmove to trick it.
Any ideas how I can successfully update imovie 9.04-9.09 please?

I just ran into the same problem. I've tried to like the new iMovie, but keep going back to 9.04 -- and would like to update to 9.09 (as all the prompts from Apple keep suggesting), but have run into exactly the same issue. Anyone out there with a resolution?

So I bought a study guide and I can access all the pages but the problem is that I can't scroll, when i scroll down or up I can see the page number moving but on the screen the same page remains, the only way I change the display page is if I switch between fullscreen and not fullscreen. Can anyone help me please?

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).
One of them is that page scrolling sometimes does not work for people.
Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Can't rename new page

I have a problem with Muse CC and 2014. When I'm trying to rename new page from Untitled to something else, Muse tells me that an error has occurred: menuItemBox U4650 has no associated page! I tried to make a new site in Muse CC and 2014, the same bug.

Could you please send us your .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread? We'll repair and return it. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.
FWIW, the bug that caused this error within your file has been fixed for the release of Muse.

Can't open NEW Pages 5, Keynote 6 or Numbers 3 documents

Some time after updating to the newest version of Pages, Numbers and Keynote my Mac stopped being able to open new, blank documents or templates in these apps. The apps all just hang. I have to force quit them. Existing documents open. I just can't start new documents. I threw all 3 apps in the trash and emptied, then re-installed from the App Store; same thing. I re-installed iWork '09 and everything works as expected. I then updated the iWork '09 apps from the App Store to the current versions. Back to the problem. On a separate but possibly related topic, Preview will not open any files. It hangs similarly and must be force quit. Fixed disk permissions in Disk Utility. No change. What could possibly be preventing the apps from opening new documents?

No replies. Am I the only one with this problem? Tried again. Started a new document in Keynote on my Mac with just 5 slides, saved it to iCloud Drive. The document opens fine on my iPhone and iPad but when I try to open it on the Mac, I get the message that it cannot be opened. Indeed, I cannot open any of my Keynote documents that are stored in iCloud Drive. I am using the latest Keynote and Yosemite on my Retina MBP.

I have had no problems with my Pages 4.3 which i installed a year ago, until the last month or 2. I have the app on my ipad but when i send pages docs from my ipad to my computer my computer tells me that i have an older version of pages and it wont open it, somethimes i can open but only view. I have Lion but cant pgrade my computer any further than that now since its an older machine now. So how can i work this on both? and why can i down load an application las year for it to be soo out of date that it doesnt function properly now?? realy fed up with appl about this, its causing me massive probems with my course work. I'm obviously now going to buy a whole new mac book to use pages. Any add ons or patches available for this combatibiluty issue? or anyone else have this problem?

IT could be that your iPad had upgraded to newer Pages or it can be that iCloud has. Send you documents through other channels like Dropbox or Mail

How I can create a new page layout template for EP 7.0

I have already provided the par-file for new page layout but I do not know like I should integrate in the enterprise portal 7.0.

when you already provided the par file then
go to content admin->portla content
go to your folder in pcd content and right click and navigate to new-> layout. There you can find your deployed new page layout par file.
Create a page layout based on the par file and in the properties make it as template.
Later when you try to create a page then you will get the new layout as one of the option.

Odd error message - Can't save new Pages docs

I use Pages a lot and know it pretty well. But today I got an odd error message I have never seen. It is stopping me from using Pages.
Today, when I attempted to create a new Pages document and save it to a folder in my Documents folder (or to my Desktop), I get an instant error message saying, "The file ‘FileName.pages' doesn’t exist." (see below). In effect, Pages will not allow me to save a new file. I can open older Pages files, edit them and save them. I just cannot create a new file and save it. I have restarted Pages and my computer multiple times with no effect on this message.
Anyone dealt with this before?

There you are, Pages 5 can be relied on to not be relied on.
Not much comfort for your previous file though.
