Contribute CS4 error "No Document Types.  The application will exit now."

Contribute was working fine, until my husband updated my iMac to Mountain Lion.  Now I can't even get the product to launch. I uninstalled Contribute CS4 and re-installed it with no change in the issue.  HELP!
Linda

Mountain LION is not a supported platform for Adobe Contribute CS4. The supported versions are Latest Adobe Contribute 6.5 and Adobe Contribute CS5.X.

Thank you for your help! - I did try looking for all available specs about Keynote on the Apple iTunes website, and found nothing that could help me. HELP!

    1
    Close all iWork applications
    2
Uninstall Keynote; this must be done with an application remover tool to delete the installation properly. Appcleaner is known to work correctly for this purpose, it is free and can be downloaded from here: Appcleaner Download
    3
    empty the trash
    4
shutdown the Mac and restart. After the start up chime, hold down the shift key until the apple logo appears
let the Mac complete the start up procedure completely, it will take longer than usual as the hard drive is being repaired
    5
Reinstall Keynote by logging into the Mac App Store using download / install

  • Windows App Certification Kit 3.4 error occurred while generating the report (the application will exit)

    Hi all,
I've encounter a pretty big issue while trying to check if everything with my windows phone 8.1 app is all right. After creating package (*.appx) I launched Windows App Certification Kit 3.4 to run it against all the test. Each time I try I get an error saying
"an error occurred while generating the report. the application will exit" and Certification tool just crushes
I looked online for some solutions but couldn't find any. Somebody knows what is going on and how to fix it ?
Can't insert images into post because of not verified account so imgur:

Try sending it to store anyway… I have the similar issue, the kit hangs when saving result and never complete it.

If you want to test your app, you can also send to beta store and you can get response from the testers.

    I have an Audigy 2 ZS , My system XP-Home SP2 Athlon 64
From time to time i tried to install the newest drivers from the download area without success ( bluescreens and such other issues ).
The drivers direct from the CD are working.
Now i was able to install the SBAX_WEBUP_LB_2_08_0004.exe driver ( but there where blue screens to)
Now, there is sound, but the whole creativve software is not working.
For instance it is not possible to access the speaker settings .
    Error Message " "
    Error Code 6003
    What shall i do ?

Upon further inspection, I only get the error message when I try to open any app in the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS sub folder. In other words: START/All Programs/Creative/Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS. Anything I try opening in there gives me the error. Everything in the Creative Media Toolbox, and Sound Blaster X-Fi sub folders work fine. As long as I never need anything in the SB Audigy 2 ZS folder, I'm A-OK.

Sound is fine but I get error message every time I try to start any of the creative applications that come in mediasource like the graphic eq, speaker settings, surround mixer, EAX and THX consoles; the error: The Audio Device supported by this application is not detected. The application will exit.
I have read the forum notes on this error message and seems other have had this same issue, but I don't see any solutions...if anyone knows anything about solving this little mystery, please reply - need to get into that console to fully utilize this sound card.

AFTER AUTOUPDATE this problem began. I removed the audigy package and reinstalled everything from the factory CD and still get this message. This happens every time I update the audigy drivers and thx. I am tired of doing recoveries to get audigy to work. Too bad I keep forgetting that the updates cause this problem. Audigy Platinum 2 works fine wothout the update. I will never update again!
How can I resolve this problem short of a full recovery?

Your best bet is probably to start over by cleaning off the old software with the Adobe Cleaner tool:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Then reinstall from your original media, or download it here:

  • Application Error, Unable to launch the application Blackboard Collaborate

I recently updated to Java 7 so I could use this service. I called up Blackboard support when it would not load and they told me to clear Cache, try downloading new deployment file, disable Windows firewall and nothing worked. Hi, I've missed three weeks of classes because of the same error listed above.  Everything was fine and Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate worked almost effortlessly for 5 or 6 weeks.  Suddenly I tried to log in for a live lecture and this error occurred.  Other students were having trouble and still are.  Tech support at the school couldn't fix it, so they referred me to Blackboard Collaborate tech support (level 2).  They haven't been able to fix it either.  They recommended the same steps listed at the top of this email.  I executed all of them but still receive the same error.  Additionally, at one point, I was unable to install Java.  Funny things seem to happen when I get on the line with tech support to solve this problem, although funny things don't happen during the other work I do on this computer.  Technical language, I know.  :-)
In an effort to pass the class, I am doing research on own to try to fix this and get into the lectures.
I am getting the same error listed above but am not a developer and don't understand how to get to JNLP to enter the fix listed above (if someone has a hint, I'd love to try that fix).
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Here are steps taken so far:
    1. Clear Java Installed Apps and Applets (Control Panel - Java 32-bit - SEttings - Delete files - Installed apps and applets - ok - ok - ok)
    2.  Delete all files in Downloads folder (from all browsers)
    3.  Allow Java in Windows firewall (Start screen - hold down Windows key and W - Search for "firewall" - Navigate to Java program name - click all boxes and save)
    4.  Ran CCleaner to remove all temporary internet files, cookies, etc. that could be interfering
    5.  When nothing else worked, uninstalled and reinstalled Java twice (on the second time, it took over a dozen tries to reinstall Java - suddenly it just worked) and both times I deleted the Sun folder (C:/Users/Me/appdata/LocalLow/Sun) at the direction of tech support
    6.  Removed old registry entries both times using CCleaner
    7.  Rebooted (something done all along the way to see if it helped)
    8.  Tried to access live classes and recordings from multiple lectures through Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate and received the same error (details included below)
    9.  Tried to access Blackboard Collaborate Elluminate with Windows firewall on, then Windows firewall off, then ZoneAlarm Extreme firewall on, then ZoneAlarm Extreme firewall off (and entire associated software package); when on, ZoneAlarm gives "super" trusted status to all parts of Java listed and gives green checkmarks for all parts of Java listed and all levels of security
    10.  End results so far:  receiving same error - nothing works

  • Error occurred while installing the application: Invalid device specified

Error occurred while installing the application: Invalid <device> specified i am getting this error on windows. How to solve that.

    Hi there.
I know this is an old post, but I fell here having this same problem for some weeks now, and i just figured my issue. Hope it help others:
My iPhone is connecting automatically with my itunes on computer. Not really sure what type of connection or wireless sync, but the fact is that it IS connecting.
For some weird reason it gets Flash Builder crazy and it cannot find the right device anymore. Even when I get my iPhone connected by cable, it says that it found the device, but doesn`t publish to it. The Flash Builder says that it was published, but nothing gets installed, and the debugger cannot connect.
MY SOLUTION (for now): Turn off the phone wi-fi, so it gets out of my home network. works like a charm and I finally can test on my device again.
    Really hope this helps.

  • Error occurred while packaging the application: Android-x86

    Hello,
I tried to export an existing Android-ARM to Android-x86:
This application uses to 2 ANE for In-App purchases. One for iOS and another one for Android. I repackaged the Android ANE file to be compatible with Android-x86 and I also add the new Flash Builder "-arch" with value "x86" and place it before "-storetype".

An error has occurred in Adobe Photoshop.
    The application will be closed
    This message appears when:
    1  -  open photoshop
    2  -  open image A
3  -  open image B, select and copy
    4  -  open image A and paste image B
5  -  try to move the pasted image ; Photoshop now hangs, then quits and all work is lost
    Help! What can I do?

First, to get the most out of your help request, you should list the Photoshop version, OS version, whether it's 32 or 64 bit, and whether all updates have been applied.
    I  tried with photoshop 4, 7 and CS4    -    OS XP SP3 student edition  -  no updates.
Assuming you're running Photoshop CS4 or CS5, does the problem occur with OpenGL features disabled (Edit - Preferences - Performance)?
Enabled and disabled - no difference
What memory allocation have you specified (same prefs page)?
    Not specified allocation

  • SAP supplied document types and applications

    HI gents,
As SAP is installed, there is quite a few document types and applications  "installed" by default.
Can i delete them, or are they used by/expected by other parts of the system?
    Any comments appreciated.
    Espen

    Hi guys,.
Thanks for your feedback. I'm fully aware of the techical side of this, and i know i can delete and change. Even though four types, D01, EBR, Q01 and Q02 are marked read only.
I was more looking for the reason they are there, as in why did SAP include them and is there any documentation behind it.

  • Fatal Error has occured and the application is being terminated

It seems that Captivate is eating my projects.  I've started my second project (after completing my first without any errors) and I'm constintly getting corrupted files.  It set me back at least a few hours worth of work.  So I started creating backup files every 10mins, regardless of how much work i've done.  Everything was going fine, until I took an hour break and went to resume my work.
When I try to open my file I get the following pop up message when trying to open my file: "Adobe Captivate - A fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective project folder as .cpbackup files.  Please restart Adobe Captivate."
I can click on the program workspace and not click ok on the error message to keep the file open.  I see my slides and objects, but all the text is missing.
I'm using Captivate 5.5 and windows 7 64.  Within Captivate, I'm using standard objects with importing MP3 audio files and some Photoshop images.  I have a total of 4 slides with 1 being 3.5mins long and the rest are less than 1min.
When I first started having this problem, I thought maybe the variable files were corrupte so I deleted the Users/name/appdata/local/adobe/Captivate5.5 directory to see if that was the issue.  That was before this last stint of errors.
I tried opening a backup that was like 10 saves ago, but it displays the same message.
I'm not sure what to do next.

Failed to back up the data. A fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated.
This question is Not Answered.(Mark as assumed answered)

I have a deliverable by this weekend if some can help to resolve this issue will be appreciated.
Note: when first time it crashed, I re-created the course again from scratch and its crashed again. I have multiple attempt to finish this course but no luck.
Please help me out to deliver my work.
