Contribute trial install problem

I am trying to install a trial version of Contribute CS5 and everytime it is 99% installed I get this message:
Please close all of the following applications to continue:
Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe).
Even when IE is closed the message will still appear. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please check your task manager under the process tab. There may still be instances of Internet Explorer running.

PSE8 Trial - Install problem with Vista

Hi,
When I try to install the trial version on my Vista laptop it gets to approx 95% of finishing then starts to roll back. Then I get the message "Installation was interrupted before completion. Your system has not been modifed" Thats it, no clues as to what needs modifing. Any ideas ? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Is your problem resolved? if not, try deleting the cache.db and then installing again and see if that fixes this issue?
cache.db can be located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\
NOTE: This action may require you to enter the serial number for any other Adobe product already installed/activated on your machine and if you are running some Adobe product then this action may or may not wipe out the remaining trial period.

Full ABAP Edition-Trial instalation problems

Hi,
I tried to install the Fulle ABAP edition Tiral but I had some problems I can't solve on my own.
The first steps was alright and real installation began until Step 4.
At this point there was 24 actiosn to cmplete. The 16th first was alright but during the 17th ( Import ABAP) the system freeze. I try to stop install, reboot my computer and try again, it didn't freeze but the 18 jobs in ABAP import failed.
I tried to uninstall all I began to install and try to restart from the begining but the unistall process failed.
Each time I try to restart a new install or to continue the existing one, a message is displayed saying that I can try again, stop, or reset the data for the current task in order to restart the task without crash... but how to do so?
please help cause I don't understand at all... unable to install , unable to reinstall unable to uninstall.

Do U rally think that formating Hard Disk is the only way to continu install? Cause doing so will take a long time and I will have a lot of thing to install so, I would like to found a way to continue install from this point not to restart all and format my harddisk.

Adobe CS5 Trial Install Problem

I have tried to install the Adobe Photoshop CS5 trial, but it always comes up with this error, and says Photoshop failed to install, even after reaching 100%.
Here are my specs:

It's not possible, so forget about it. As for the rest - reinstall Service Pack 3 and possibly other components like the MSInstaller runtime, .NET runtimes or even MS visual Studio 2010 Express. You have something with your DLLs being wrong and hence the installer is messing up operating system detection. Additioanlly, apply any AMD-specific patches and update all your drivers, this is also critical.

Free Trial install problems

I can't install the free trial because when I open the download it ask me the password but it doesn't recognize it.

Without system info and otehr details nobody can even guess. If it asks for your local computer's admin password, then this is nothing we can help you with, anyway. That'Äs stuff you have to know...

Trial Install Problem

I have downloaded and extracted the 3 Grid Control modules for Enterprise onto Windows 7, AMD Athlon II X2 processor P320, 4 GB DDR3, 320 GB HDD. I have also downloaded the Data Miner single module but have not extracted.
After running setup.exe in the module 1 folder, I get the following message immediately:
Checking swap space: 0 MB available, 150 MB required. Failed <<<<
I had got further along in the installation before (150 MB available) but I came to a page that requested folder names which I did not know. I installed Oracle Weblogic thinking that may have been the problem and immediately afterwards, I received the 0 MB message shown above when I tried to run setup on module 1 of Enterprise Grid Control.
Any help would be appreciated.

Trial install problems

I downloaded the trial version of 10 in order to load the version I purchased for my laptop to my home PC. Install assistant shows the program has downloaded but it isn't moving on to the install.

Have you tried invoking the installer manually?

PSE 6 Trial Install Problem

I've downloaded the PSE 6 trial and gone through the setup program on my new iMac running OSX 10.5.6. At the end of the setup it has loaded everything except PSE 6. I've re-installed several times to no avail (the same message everytime.) I'm going to try and link to some screen shots. The first one is the message that the Setup program gives me and the second is of my applications folder with everything installed except PSE 6.

Its the trial version, so I'm not sure what to do or if my trial 30 day trial has already begun.

There was a version of PSE 2 on the old computer which was moved in the migrate along with a version of PS CS2. I deleted both and ran the uninstaller for CS2. It is possible this was migrated from several computers because this client loves his toys and buys a new mac the moment a new one comes out....life is rough for some
I cannot find a file called cleanscript.
Since Pseudo works, it is clearly a simple system preference situation which Apple's Disk Utility is not picking up, probably because there is no associated installer package in the receipts folder for Apple to follow....many iterations. It is taking 2 hours to run the disk utility as root!!!
I will do the order of install you suggest after the disk utility finishes.

CS6 InDesgin free trial install problem

I can't get the ID window to show so I can open the program for my free trial that I downloaded? I know it is all there but I do not have a icon to click on that reads ID. I downloaded it to my desktop and it only shows a disk that brings me to two folders and they lead nowhere either? Please help????

Please update the application manager, restart your machine and launch the application again.

Contribute CS4 Install error - ccmenu.xml

Hi,
Trying to get Contribute CS4 installed for a user here at Notre Dame. It keeps telling us that:
"Contribute encountered problems while constructing the menus from the current ccmenus.xml file.
Please delete the current ccmenus.xml file and rename menus.bak to ccmenus.xml."
We do this, and that same error comes up every time. We uninstall and reinstall and that error comes up every time.
Anyone seen this?
The machine is a new iMac running Mac OS X 10.6.2. It does not have any CS3 products installed just CS4.

Seems like an issue with media files, some of the content might be missing. Try to download CS4 from the below website but make sure to follow the "Very Important Instructions", mentioned on that website, carefully before downloading it.

INstall Problems Turbo2 and 48x12x48 CDRW?

Purchased Cendyne ( edit: same as Aopen) 48X12X48 11/29/02 (from reading hear some got Lite-On model? - my PN# begins 91.3... and serial# ends ...EB1). Package included NERO V5. (underneath 90.3AD28.001) no key# on disk envelope.
Installed as Secondary Master in Win98SE (Only other drive is Primary Master HDD).
Device Manager shows: CD ROM/detail shows 48X12X50(50 vs 48?)
Driver: MS default CDROM 1999
1st post screen:Secondary Master 48X12X50 CDRW 1.01 20020904 1.01
2nd post screen: CD-RW ATA 33
1st problem: Can't boot into windows without Scan Disk cause screen says one of my drives may be causing errors on HDD. By pass scan to boot.
When I insert the above NERO disk it makes an awful sound when attempting to read. Tried to install nero, and it said files were configured and now reboot, and wouldn't - as above. Nero not installed.
Ran ASPI checker, and tho message seemed a bit grayed-out, said was ok.
Drive seems loud when reading other system disk (compared to my prior Digital 40X CDROM).
Tray operates ok, and played music disk just fine.
So to sum up, I'm very concerned with improper boot, loud, vibrating noise when nero disk is in, and general loudness of read cycle.
Also, am wondering if overclocking 1600+ could contribute to such problems? Thanks for any help!
P.S. All temps and voltage OK.

Was too lazy to take my own suggestion, and now downclocked to default (set to 1.55v again, much cooler). Didn't change 40 pin cable, and all seems fine.
No problem booting, Nero set up right away.
Friend of mine burns a ton, and discovered overclocking a culprit.
Question. Am I right that these drives are limited to ATA33 like my old CDROM drive, not needing 80 pin cable?
Also, any thoughts about louder read? More common to CDRW?
P.S. This new, retail drive was only $9.95 US after rebate ) .

Install problem Error with Z drive

Our IT guys configure our machines with a Z drive as a network share. Any ideas how to resolve the conflict with PE9 install.

I did not pick the Z drive for install. I always pick the C drive if given the option. But PE9 just went to work on its own and told me it could not install to the Z drive... there is a known issue posted here along these lines, however, so I think Adobe is on to it... of course i had to install as a trial version on a second machine to test the disk burning...then I have to solve the install problem, so I can install the license on the machine with the install problem.... all a big catch 22. Question: I have purchased a Adobe Captivate 4 license and I have downloaded the setup file from adobe site and installed in a x86 windows XP machine which is joined in a windows 2003 server ADS.At first I installed as trial version once installed I provided the key after all a windows will come up with asking the license agreement I click accept but Nothing will happen nothing will run in the system, also I cant uninstall when clicking uninstall nothing is happen .I have tried installing by creating a folder under the program files as adobe2 then I can start the program but after a while or afte many time but this doesn't help .I have the same problem in other machines too. can any one help me?r a day it will again as the license agreement windows and I selected accept then the same problem I have tried reinstalling

Install problem - SAP Crystal Dashboard Design, departmental edition

I download a departmental edition trial version and I tried install it.
When finish a message said the installing was fine but then apears another message "Missing installdir reg key for installinverse, required for uninstall.
Key: SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Installer\aurora
Value: Path"
Then another message saying a Runtime Error.
I have a windows 7 ultimate 64 based with a 2010 SP1 Office 32 edition.
