LOOP AT SUM_TAB.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING SUM_TAB TO TOT_TAB.
COLLECT TOT_TAB.CLEAR TOT_TAB.
ENDLOOP.
Now ur Final Internal Table will contain the Values as u asked.

    I need some help about getting the final sum of the sql query after doing a control break in a dynamic report, ( the control break make me the sum of each report but didn't leave me the sum of all the query)

  • Control Break problem (using format option in the report)

    I am trying to create control break on one of my reports. I am grouping query by 3 columns and I am trying to create control break but one of the column is not available for the control break (is not listed there).
    Any Idea why this my happen?

  • Control Breaks in Interactive Report Throw off HTML Header Style

    I created an APEX 4.0.0.11.23 page with an interactive report. Several columns are character strings with embedded spaces. At first, when the columns displayed they were wrapped around to as many lines as there were spaces. so I formatted it with this HTML header style:
    $('td[headers="ADDRESS"]').attr("style","white-space:nowrap");
    This corrected the problem but then the user requested two breaks on Column_A and Column_B. This threw the formatting off so I corrected it with this HTML header style:
    $('td[headers="ADDRESS BREAK_COLUMN_A_COLUMN_B_2"]').attr("style","white-space:nowrap");
    Now the lines wrap for some but not for all rows and there does not seem to be any pattern. So for instance the address for one particular row will look display in the desired format as:
    530 EAST 144TH STREET
    And another almost identical row will display as:
    525 EAST 143RD
    STREET
    I thought there may be binary data in the column so I embedded the following code in the main SELECT query that drives the page”
    Regexp_Replace(ADDRESS, '[^[:print:]]')
    This did not help. How do I implement HTML header styles for interactive reports with multiple control breaks so that the address is formatted properly for every line? Is there a related report or page attribute that needs to be set?
    BTW, the way I discovered the HTML header style for interactive reports with multiple control breaks by following this link which was provided in a related thread:

  • Need a multi-level control break report displaying a cross-tab for each ...

    I need a multi-level control break report that displays a cross-tab report for each
    detail and subtotal. The individual cross-tabs are no problem. There are two issues:
    1) How to get many cross-tabs (thousands) to appear in one report.
    2) How to provide cross-tabs in-line on the multi-level subtotal lines.
    Here is a concrete example.
    Suppose the data base contains this table:
    road (
    id_number number, -- this is an artificial PK
    city varchar2,
    county varchar2,
    state varchar2,
    length number,
    owner varchar2, -- roads may be owned by cities, counties, states, and others
    surface_type varchar2 -- the surface type may be gravel, asphalt, concrete, and others
    The table is populated with several million records that include every
    length of road in a US city.
    It is OK to suppose that all the attributes in all the records are not null.
    Without the PK, there would be millions of duplicates,
    which should all contribute to the summed lengths.
    The report I need is like a control break report with a detail line for each
    city together with subtotals for each county and state and
    a grand total for the US at the end.
    However, each detail and total line needs to be a cross-tab report
    summing the length over the city, county, state or US
    (whichever is called for at that location)
    for each combination of owner and surface_type.
    so the report would have the following structure:
    a city cross-tab for the first city in county 1/state 1
    a city cross tab for the last city in county 1/state 1
    a cross-tab for count 1
    a city cross tab for the first city in county 2/state 1
    a city cross tab for the last city in county 2/state 1
    a cross tab for state 1
    a cross-tab for the US
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
    This problem comes up because my client's legacy system,
    which is being replaced,
    already has such a report (in COBOL).

    According to your description, you have a matrix contains total for each group on each level. Now your requirement is, when you click on any number (data field or total), it will go to the detail report which returns all the detail information of the people
    within the group scope. For example, if you click on the total of Active users in United States, it will return the detail information of Active users in New York and Texas. Right?
    In this scenario, we should set the parameter (@Country, @State, @City) allow multiple values in both main and detail report. And in Default Value (@Country, @State, @City), query out all distinct values. In the textbox which contains
    those total values, when set use these parameters to run the report, we only need to pass the parameters of parent groups. For example, if we click on the total of Active users in New York, we only need to pass Country, State, Status to detail report, and
    in the detail report, the City parameter will use all distinct values (Default Values) because we don't pass the City parameter. We have tested this case with sample data in our local environment. Here are steps and screenshots for your reference:
    1. Create parameter Country, State, City and Status in both main report and detail report. Set both Available Value and Default Value get values from query (Create a dataset for each parameter, use "select distinct [column] from [table]" as query). Set allow
    multiple values for parameter Country, State and City in both reports.
    2. In corresponding textbox, pass appropriate parameters in go to report Action.
    4. Filter data in detail report (in where clause or using filters).
    5. Save and preview. It looks like below:

                     I have a requirement where i have to move the values to variable when control break (AT END OF) process. So i want to move the values according to the end of Vendor so for that  i want to know is there any sy-index available which reflects changes when Control break (AT end of) process.
    LIKE Sy-subrc = 0 when select statement fetches record or sy-tabix is like counter for loop.

    There is no system Fields for it.
    But your requirement can be done with 'AT NEW' and 'AT END' statement.
    Refer this sample example,
    loop at otab.
        at new module.
          move otab-module to otab2-module.
        ENDAT.
          at END OF effort.
          sum.               "Do your calculations here
          move otab-count to otab2-count.
          append otab2.
        endat.
      endloop.

    Hi, i've had a couple of doubts for a long while which I hope someone can clarify today:
    1) I know how to use the AT statements, however, i'm not sure I get correctly what this part of help regarding this commands means:
    <i>"The control level structure with internal tables is static. It corresponds exactly to the sequence of columns in the internal table (from left to right). In this context, the criteria according to which you sort the internal table are unimportant."</i>
    I've always sorted the internal table before the control break and it works that way. For example:
    SORT ITAB BY EBELN EBELP.
    LOOP AT ITAB.
      AT NEW EBELN.
    *   Code for the order header
      ENDAT.
    ENDLOOP.
    If I <b>don't</b> sort the internal table, it doesn't work! (i get dupplicated processing). In the example, if i have more than one register with the same EBELN and they're not consecutive, the header gets processed twice. I really don't get that part of the help text.
    2) I know this: <i>"At the start of a new control level (i.e. immediately after AT), the following occurs in the output area of the current LOOP statement:
    All character type fields (on the right) are filled with "*" after the current control level key.
    All other fields (on the right) are set to their initial values after the current control level key."</i>
    My doubt is: WHY is that this way? Because sometimes (most times) I need those fields INSIDE the statement! So when that happened i've solved it in one of three ways:
    LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA_ITAB.
      WA_ITAB_AUX = WA_ITAB.
      AT NEW FIELD.
        WA_ITAB = WA_ITAB_AUX.
    *   ...Rest of the code for the first register
      ENDAT.
    ENDLOOP.

    1)
    See if u sort the table on a field on which u r using AT ENDAT .. then all the records which are having the same value for that field will form a group or those reocrds will be at one place.. so when u sort the table for all the records  AT ENDAT  will get executed onli once..
    If u dont sort this table on this field then all these records will be at different places and in between there may be records with different value for this field.. so this AT ENDAT will get executed for each record !!
    2)
    No u cannot use the Right hand fields of the field in the table .. Because these AT events work as Group based operations... So till that field on which AT ENDAT is working it breaks that record into two groups.. One is the left hand fields including that field.. and right hand fields as another group.. and makes the right hand group as stars ****.  Thats y u can observe that even any one field in the left hand group changes the AT ENDAT will get executed  !!!!

    First of all to know clearly about AT END.
    Let's say In IT_DATA fields are F1 F2 F3 /B28/S_D1DVOX5 F5.
    then AT END of /B28/S_D1DVOX5 means for each new value of this field at the end it will trigger.
    Please ensure thet IT_DATA is sorted by this field and then used Control break.

    This i have to design for the smartform.
    1 header data then its item data.
    like is Script i can call the WIndow elements using control break events in the driver prog but how to get this kind of output in Smartforms.???????

    In the same page i want like this
    I have purchase docu data in only 1 internal table.
    So, for every new VBELN, under this i want its corresponding item details.
    I have created the command node for the main window with 2 rows, in the 1st row i am giving VBELN and in the 2nd row i am giving in item details like item no, matnr etc etc and in the condition its askng Field name and Comparison Value.
    How shold i give condition.??????

  • Interactive report with control break displays no data, until control break is unchecked

    Hello,
    I have an interactive report that is base upon a collection. When one first access the page the report shows no data(no errors are given) and the control break box is red. Once the control break box is unchecked, all the data is shown. Furthermore, navigating to another page causes the same issue.
    Any idea into how I can solve this issue will be appreciated.

    The aggregates are applied to each control break group, or, if you don't have any, then they're applied to the full report. So, in your case the "count" (= count of non-null values for a column, same as in SQL) should mean there is 1 non-null value in each group.

  • "Source not found" Error creating URL Data control with query parameters

    Hi,
    I have a restful service for which i want to create a URL data control. I am able to create the URL data control successfully when i am not passing any parameters in the Source field. But if i am specifying the parameters in the source field like this Department=##ParamName##, something weird is happening. After giving the param string in the Source field, it asks for default param value to test the url. It tests the url successfully. After that i select XML as the data format in which i am mentioning the xsd like this . "file:///C:/..../something.xsd" . And this is when i am getting the error. "Invalid Connection. The source is not found". I am giving exactly same path for xsd which i gave while creating URL data control without query parameters. Infact i was able to create the URL data control with query parameters successfully till afternoon. after that it started giving me this error all of a sudden. Infact as soon as i was able to create a URL data contol with query parameter successfully, i took a backup of the application before moving further. But even that backup is not working now.
    As far as i understand, i dont think there will be any change in xsd if query params are passed to a web service. Please correct me if i am wrong.
    Just dont know what could be the issue. Please help

    xsd is used for the URL service to know what the returned data structure is so it can create the ADF DC metadata

  • Control break behavior

    Hi,
    Can anyone tell if there's a way to override the default behavior of Control Break?
    In my report (a schedule), I have a column that holds the values for days (monday, tuesday, etc.).
    I want to control break on that column but keep the resulting grups ordered in a natural order (monday first, tuesday second and so on).
    I can write the sql that generates my report that way by using decode, but once I Control Break apex is applying a new order by clause on my report, destroying my order.
    Any ideas on how to tell apex how to order for control break using decode, or how to disable ordering entirely when I use Control Break on a specific column?

If you expect a detailed answer then it's appropriate for you to take on a significant part of the effort by getting as far as possible with an example of the problem on apex.oracle.com before asking for assistance with specific issues, which we can then see at first hand.
    When asking a question about "reports" it's firstly essential to differentiate between standard and interactive reports. Which is it?
    I suggest you take advantage of the opportunities provided by apex.oracle.com and reproduce the problem there...
