Control Centre and DAS

Hello,
I have my SAP installed and running fine. In Control Centre I try to add "New System" and try to "Discover". Its failing saying "CCA1003I No DB2 system was found on the network."
I thought this is because DAS is not Present. I try to create it using
C:\Users\db2sep> db2admin create
SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred.
Can you please help here... I want to add the System using Discover, otherwise we face a lot of errors if we do it manualy.

to ensure their is no DAS already, try running command
db2admin start
what is the result?
The SQL error does not give us much information, are there any errors logged in the db2diag from the time of this command?
If not, try tracing as follows:
1. db2diag -A
2. db2trc on -f trace.dmp
3. db2admin create <<< this command will fail with SQL1042C I presume
4. db2trc off
5. db2trc flw trace.dmp trace.flw
6. db2trc fmt trace.dmp trace.fmt
Please update us with the trace.flw , trace.fmt , db2diag.log and command line
output.

Apple told us that in the new iOS 7, menus such as the control centre and notification will be translucent, and allows users to see to some extent content concealed behind the menus.
I've update my iPad 3 to iOS 7.0.3. The menus (Notification centre, Control centre etc...) are not translucent, at all.
Control centre is completely greyed out, and I can't see anything behind the menu when called up.
Notification centre is similarly completely blacked out, though to a small extent I can see some content behind notification centre.
I've seen in video reviews of iOS 7 that notification centre and control centre are both close to being clear, and take up the colour of content behind them.
My iPad 3 does not display such aesthetics.
I know that some of you will say that I should turn off 'increase contrast', but that's not the case, since I've already turned it off.
The issue was already present when I update from iOS 6 to iOS 7.0.2, and the problem was carried over to iOS 7.0.3, in which I thought the issue would be rectified.
Is anyone else finding this issue present on their devices?
Has anyone found a fix yet?

Sadly, the iPad 3rd Generation does not recieve the blur/translucency effects which you are mentioning in iOS 7. (The reasoning for this situation is most likely listed below.)
1.) The difference in processing power between the iPad 3rd generation & iPad 4th generation, (The 4th Generation recieves these visual capabillities while the iPad 3rd Generation isn't capable of producing the effects).
2.) Marketing issues in which Apple prefers consumers to purchase a newer model instead of something older.
Turning on the 'Increase Contrast' option is Settings will on make the Notification Center & Control Center completely opaque. This setting is used to make text legibillity higher.

Since my last software update the auto rotation on both my ipad air and my iphone 5c won't work. I have tried everything, including; checking the auto-lock - it isn't on lock. I've checked the settings in the Control Centre and they're as they should be.

Since my last update the auto rotation on both my ipad & my iphone has stopped working. I've done all the usual stuff to correct it but no joy. I've reset, rebooted, turned off then back on, checked all settings including those for the side switch and everything is as it should be except the rotation still doesn't work. There are no open apps, movies or videos that could be locking the screen so I am now totally stumped.
Any suggestions please?

The fact that gs.apple.com was in your host file to begin with is an indicator that your computer was used to jailbreak or hack an iOS device at some point in the past. You can not get help here for a hacked or jailbroken device. If your phone was hacked or jailbroken, Apple won't touch it.
RecBoot and Tinyumbrella are hacking tools.
Google "iPhone DFU mode".
Try restoring in DFU mode. If that doesn't fix it, make an appointment at the genius bar and see what Apple has to say about it.

1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.

I am having problem with my notifications bar and control centre bar. It doesn't work with sliding my fingers on the screen and when I restart the phone it works properly but again after few days the problem persist? My phone is an iphone6 8.1.3

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:

Airdrop is only for iPhone 5 and higher and ipad 4 and up...

Couldnt slide down/up for notification centre and control centre.

too much choices of access in Assistive touch. Choice of notification/control centre is pointless, since ios7 we can slide it down/up.
why Apple dont have any twitter account for people to share. Seems like theres no PIC to incharge about customers problem.

I have figured out the solution to all of our problems!!! We can keep the zoom function ON!!!! Yay!
Step one. Turn back on the beloved zoom function.
step two. Tap screen with 3 fingers.
step three. Select window zoom. (If already selected move on to step Quatro)
step qautro. Select Resize lens.
and for the moment you've all be waiting for... Drum roll..
the grand finale step. IS...
shrink the window to the smallest size.
AFter you have done these 5 steps, you can thoroughly enjoy having all three functions at once. If you switch back to Full Screen Zoom (if that be your preference) the notification and control centers will remain functional! Bon apetit!
i have been successful enlarging the window while keeping the centers functioning by making sure the window is in the shape of a square.

Try:

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Notifications and Control Centre both stop working at certain times. However they work on the lock screen. Only got my ipad air 2 a couple of days ago. Any help please?

I have an otterbox and with ios7 I'm not able to access the control centre because of it. Is this something Apple can fix in another update?? I'd love to be able to use it

I'm wondering how I could contact apple to tell them, if I hasn't already been addressed!

Apple does not control the design of third party cases.
Control center and the notification center both operate via vertical swipes up or down from outside the screen area. If you've chosen to use a case which prevents you from using such gestures, that is your choice. Apple are not going to fundamentally change the design of the operating system, just so you can use a particular third party case.
