Control key at startup so computer acts like hard drive

It's control something so when a computer starts up it acts like a hard drive when connected to another computer so it's easy to transfer stuff. Control what? I thought it was T, but that's not right. Thank you.

Just the "t" key, no other key. That'll put you in Firewire Target Disk Mode...
