Control on quantity and price between version 2 and version 0

Hi,
My client works on scenario where the cost planning (boq upload) is done in version 2 and operative is version 0, now the requirement is that, when they want to create a reservation the system should trigger error if change in quantity and price
for eg: 'X' material quantity is 10 nos. in version 2 (plan) and in the operative version 0 if the reservation is put for 11 nos then the system should trigger an error.
Also, if "X" item price is 10 rupees each and at the time of reservation after 1 year if it 20 rupees each then the system should prompt an error for change in price (NOT AVAC for budget exceed)
Kindly suggest if this can be done.

Hi,
AVAC will check the budget, they want a control on change in price.
Development has to be done from two different version please clarify how this can be done.
Boq can be uploaded in the operative project but they can even add a extra quantity or raise a new PR...kindly correct

I have a 2009 MBP that originally came with a SATA drive. Recently, I swapped drives; now, it has 512GB SSD. In other words, you can easily increase the speed of a standard MBP. There is going to be an increase in general processing with the Retina MBPs, but the significance depends on the application. For example, booting Photoshop used to take just over 30 seconds with a SATA drive; with an SSD, it's just under 10 seconds. But controlling for the SATA vs SSD, the differences are smaller and incremental.
Ok you speak about a diff with the retina in term of better graphics when zooming but will this advantage be relevant also on my external giant monitors ?
I can't answer that, so I'll leave that to someone with more expertise in this area.

It's clearly not impossible, just different than you expect. Create your playlist as you want it to appear in the Current tab (meaning don't dump every single song from your library in there, just the ones you want) and then save the playlist.

Google calendar times show plus 1 hour later on ipad and iphone between april and october

Suddenly my entire screen now has little dots on it that flash back and forth between pink and blue. What's up?

I was online (on Facebook) when suddenly my coputer screen developed these little dots--uniform across it not just in a browser window--and they started flashing back and forth between blue and pink. The computer froze up and I had to reboot. It hasn't gone away and it's terribly annoying. What should I try to do?

It may be a problem with your video electronics - possibly heat related. Shutdown the PB & leave it overnight. Then startup & see if the dots appear.

Difference in Quantity and amount between PO and invoice

Dear Experts,
In my implementation, the customer puts water in the finished material BOM and wants to issue it to the production. So we made a fake PO with the required quantity and received its quantity in the inventory. The problem faces us when the monthly water invoice comes from the water company and we want to invoice in "MIRO" with reference to the purchase order. Always the quantity and amount in the incoming invoice are different from the ones in the purchase order. Please, Advise.

I think that you procure water which is used your BOM. You get invoices periodically but there is inconsistency between PO and Invoice quantity and amount.
You can benefit from M8 system messages , i created a document M8 messages for incoming invoices with tolerances that might be helpful.
If it is used in BOM, i do not think so relation pipeline material process...

MIC is a predecessor product for PC 3.0. With the aquisition of Virsa there was a new product introduced with the name "Process Control".
2. Can MIC be upgraded to PC3.0?
+There is a migration path for MIC 1.0 and MIC 2.0 to PC 3.0.
3. If yes, how the data is migrated from MIC to PC3.0?
You can find documentation for this in the service marketplace. There is a migration guide for MIC to PC 3.0. In The BPX there are also guides produced by the GRC RIG team.

MIC was mainly build to support SOX compliance. PC 3.0 not only supports SOX compliance but theoretically as many compliance initiatives as you want. Both share a central organizational structure, a central contol catalogue, issue and remediation workflows for evaluations.

Running HSRP between N5k 's and vPC between N2k and server

Dear All,
I have the following existing setup, i would like to run HSRP between N5k1 and N5k2. Also would lilke to run vPC between N2k1,N2k2 to the server farm which are dual homed. Please find the diagram attached.

Hi,
If you don't have many vlans, there is no need to load balance. Make one of the 5ks the primary for HSRP and the other one stand-by.
here is good link on how to configure it. Make sure to run HSRP version 2. This way you can mach the HSRP group IDs with your vlan IDs. Also give a higher priority to the active 5k and enable preemption.

Install from scratch 3 times Mavericks but cannot used my restore it will just start for ever. After first install and restore mail and link between folder and files didn't work anymore. Now cant see my disk in finder. Help?

First install through regular update : never finishing the start after automatic restart
First install from scratch: erase through disk utility, install OS X Mavericks (using Recover mode), restart ok - Used Migration Assistant to restore applications and data only - Mail crashed each 5 inutes and asked constantly for password of my 2 accounts, links between folders and files not OK and attaching a doc was complicated. I downloaded the update same problems

Still struggling to understand why copying the entire root dir to a disk image and then restoring from that image did not, as expected, yield an identical system, and why I even had to reinstall after doing this.
Because there is a lot more going on under the hood than merely copying files.
The only way to do what you want is to use cloning software like Carbon Copy Cloner.
My advice is to rescue your personal files to a regular non-TimeMachine external drive, Zero erase the ENTIRE drive and install OS X fresh and update, then your programs from original sources and files from backup.
Then, make a bootable clone and you can copy that as many times as you want and each one is bootable.

Communicate large number of parameters and variables between Verstand and Labview Model

We have a dyno setup with a PXI-E chassis running Veristand 2014 and Inertia 2014. In order to enhance capabilities and timing of Veristand, I would like to use Labview models to perform tasks not possible by Veristand and Inertia. An example of this is to determine the maximum of a large number of thermocouples. Veristand has a compare funtion, but it compares only two values at a time. This makes for some lengthy and inflexible programming. Labview, on the other hand, has a function which aloows one to get the maximum of elements in an array in a single step. To use Labview I need to "send" the 50 or so thermocouples to the Labview model. In addition to the variables which need to be communicated between Veristand and Labview, I also need to present Labview with the threshold and confguration parameters. From the forums and user manuaIs understand that one has to use the connector pane in Labview and mapping in Veristand System Explorer to expose the inports and outports. The problem is that the Labview connector pane is limited to 27 I/O. How do I overcome that limitation?
BTW. I am fairly new to Labview and Versitand.

Thank you for the help. I created a simple test model and now understand how I can use clusters for a large number of variables. Regarding the mapping process: Can one map a folder of user channels to a cluster (one-step mapping)? Alternatively, I understand one can import a mapping (text) file in System Explorer. Is this import partial or does it replace all the mapping? The reason I am asking is that, if it is partial, then I can have separate mapping files for different configurations and my final mapping can be a combination of imported mapping files.

Thank you for the hint on using a Custom Device. I understand that the Custom Device will be much more powerful and can be more generic. The problem at this stage is that my limitations in programming in Labview is far gretater than Labview models' limitations in Veristand. I'll definitely consider the Custom Device route once I am more provicient with LabView. Hopefully I'll be able to re-use some of the VI's I created for the LabView models.

Drag and Drop between JTree and Labels in 2 different panes

Hi,
I am using JDK 1.4.1 and am trying to implement Drag n Drop between a JTree and JLabels with ImageIcons, both on different panes.
I got the DnD working fine on the tree. but i cant get to drag and drop the label from the other pane, on the Jtree as a node. I am getting confused with the DataFlavors, and also wonder if there is something else that i have to do for DnD between 2 panes. Can someone give me any leads on this, please? The Panes I am talking about are splitpanes.

hey thanks Dennis!! I was hoping you would respond to my question, as I have seen a lot of your replies. yes, the example you gave would be helpful. but i am trying to implement this in 1.4.1, with the new drag and drop in swing. and i am getting confused wiht theh data flavors etc.
my problem at hand is :
I have a tree on the left pane. i can drag and drop the nodes on the tree itself. (i already did that...no problem). I have Jlabels with imageicons (actually wrapper classes with labels and imageicons) on the right pane. i have to be able to drag these labels to the tree such that they form a node.
I have one class the NodeSelection class which extends TransferHandler and implements Transferable. i was able to do DnD for the tree using this. I customized the importData method in this.I thought that i can just use the same class to create the transferhandler and transferable, and just use a different implementation for the importData method if the data being dragged is from the label.
well, my thoughts and ideas were ok...but i can implement it...so they must be wrong ;-)
Can u please suggest another way to do this. I have a deadline to meet and am stuck here :-( any suggestions or tips or hints would be very helpful and appreciated!!

Hi. I'm using Visual Studio 2013, and the Windows Phone App template. I'm using the Microsoft.Devices / CaptureVideo API to capture video. I now want to set the resolution to capture the video in a specific(available) resolution. How do I do that?

HP PhotoSmart 6525 Switching Back-and-Forth between Wireless and USB

Hi,
I setup my HP PhotoSmart 6525 using the "Wireless with a router" setup instructions (i.e. not Wireless Direct). I am able to print from my laptop through the wireless network. I would also like to be able to print from my laptop using the USB connection at times when my laptop is physically sitting next to the printer. At times when it is not, I want to continue to be able to print wirelessly.
Is it possible to setup the print drivers on the laptop so that I can easily switch back-and-forth between USB printing and wireless network printing? I suspect that it may not be possible because the user guide has a section describing how to "Change from a USB connection to a wireless network" that has you click on a menu item called "Convert a USB connected printer to wireless". There are no instructions for how to convert back to USB. Moreover, the use of the word "convert" does not make it sound like you can maintain both print methods simultaneously on a single computer.
Does anyone know whether it can be done, and if so how?

I see you have the HP Photosmart 6525 installed for Wireless printing capacity and would also like to add a USB driver so that it is available for use when near the printer. Please follow the steps below to add a copy of the printer for USB printing. The below steps are for Windows 7 and below based computers. If you have Windows 8, then the steps will be slightly different so let me know. Please let me know if you have a Mac, because I can provide those steps at that time.
Press the Start menu of the computer
Select All Programs
Open the HP Folder
Open the folder for the HP Photosmart 6520 series
Select "Printer Setup and Software"
Select the option to Add a new printer
Select the USB option
Plug the USB cable in when the software requests it and proceed through the install process
This will leave the Wireless driver support in place and add a second printer under the Devices and Printers window for USB printing. The USB printer may contain Copy 1 in the name as a differentiation, however the other one should also state Network in the printer name to indicate it is the wireless option.
