? control volume on the HTC Rhyme blue tooth mode?

How does one control the volume when the HTC Rhyme is in the charging dock station (blue tooth mode? I just purchased an HTC Rhyme and unfortunately at night need to receive calls while the Rhyme is in it's docking station the ring is obnoxiously loud. I have tried volume control on the phone. There is not a control on the docking station. I even tried turning the blue tooth off but it automatically is turned on when you place the phone in the docking station. Any words of advice out there???

I'm sure there should be a option menu that determains if bluetooth gets activated or not, I would check the options under the settings menu for connecting devices..
As for the volume check and see if the option in Settings / Audio does not have the option checkedto "Use the call volume for notification", so the volume can be seperate from others and see if that helps..

I need help/suggestions with the HTC Rhyme

I have the HTC Rhyme and I am so unhappy with it. I hate knowing I have to wait until 2014 until I can upgrade. I am wondering if anyone else has the issues I have with mine. 1.) Drops calls alot even when I have all bars. 2.) It is very slow if I try to pull something up online. 3.) My phone numbers seem to disappear at nothing. 3.) My phone cuts off randomly without my knowing it. 4.) My charge never lasts long at all. In fact I had straight talk before and that phone stayed charged forever and it was a smart phone as well. 5.) My apps disappear as well. 6.) When I am talking to family and friends they are always asking me to repeat myself or I cant hear them. 7.) Trying to send a picture is like pulling teeth about near impossible for me to do. 8.) Text messages gets to where they are going sometimes and sometimes not. 9.) And try to find a decent case for this phone is not easy. In fact I've not found one yet that I like thats not plastic or silicone.
Is anyone else having these problems.?? I believe my phone is a lemon if I'm the only one having these problems. I am not a person to complain about things but even my family and friends say I have a piece of crap for a phone. What do I do?? Just got the phone in May.

I totally agree with Ginny. I have had my phone for about a month. It won't hold a charge. Someone suggested turning it off overnight to see if it will take a full charge. After I did, it wouln't come on. Still didn't get a full charge. When I place it in the docking station, it gets so hot I can't hold it to my ear. It is dropping calls even when I have the full bars. At times, my phone shows that I am still connected on the call, but the other person can't hear me and hang up. This is crap. I can't go until 2014 to get a decent phone. I want a different phone. I had a little crappy Samsung Galaxy with TMOBILE and it stayed charged, never over heated, seldom dropped calls and I gave it up for THIS? Surely you people must have some kind of replacement plan with this phone given all the people that are having the same issues that apparently are not getting fixed. When I switched from TMOBILE, the guy that helped me with my new phone and plan swore by this phone. I had done my homework and had seen all the negative responses to the phone, so when I asked him about it during his sales pitch, he assured me everything had been updated and it wasn't happening any longer. Given that he was a Verizon representative, I believed him.

I can not transfer the files using blue tooth?

I can not transfer the video,pictures using the blue tooth. Though mobile display says I pad paired,
But I pad is not connected to the mobile, even both places pass key is entered ok.

Transferring of files via Bluetooth on iOS is not supported. Bluetooth on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch is for the use of external keyboards, speakers earphones and accessories like those.

I've had my phone for a little less than a month, and it just stopped working. Never dropped, never wet, fully charged, but NOTHING!!! ANY assistance would be appreciated.

Apple does not hear you here. You will want to go to Apple.com/feedback to get your voice heard.
If the iPhone 4 is under warranty they would replace it for free, so I am assuming it is not under warranty. An out of warranty repair would cost you $149, so if you are quoted another price it could mean that the device beyond replacing.
You should call back in to Apple to explore other replacement options

IPhone 3Gs no longer connects to my Blue Tooth hands free cars

Within the last week, there appears to be a software update to my iPhone 3Gs. Since that time, my phone can no longer be paired with the hands free blue tooth options in both of my vehicles. The first vehicle is a 2010 Lincoln MKX with Sync and my other vehicle is a 2010 Volvo C30. Have other people experienced this? I have updated the connection between the phone and both vehicles. If I cannot get this fixed it looks like my iPhone is useless as a phone with blue tooth.

Problem solved!! I finally managed to pair the SE HCB-100 car kit speakerphone with the 3GS. I surfed the SE web site and it mentioned resetting the speakerphone. Tried it on 'one color ID' but it didn't work so I did it on all 'color IDs' and left it on reset mode when it 'accidentally' was picked up by my 3GS while searching!!! Found 'headset' and then recognised it as HCB-100. One happy guy for the holidays!!!

Not able to control volume up/down while using Digital AV Adapter.

I am using iPhone 5, iPad 4 and digital av adapter. Video mirroring works fine but can't control volume while the devices are plugged with the digital av adapter. The volume button just disappear when it is plugged.
I use 24 inch monitor with speaker and non-apple HDMI cable.
Wondering anyone has any idea.

When an apple device is connected to a HDMI display e.g. a TV, it is possible indeed usual for the sound output to be also automatically sent over the HDMI connection to the TV speakers. This works fine.
However, in this configuration the on-screen volume control on the apple device is disabled and the device has no way itself to control the volume level. The volume level can be controlled on the TV. As this stands, this could be considered normal correct behavior.

Can't pair macbook air with muse mini blue tooth speaker?

I am trying to pair up my new Muse Mini blue tooth speaker and my MacBook Air computer wont even recognize it. I am able to pair it to my iphone5 and it works wonderful. I would appreciate any assistance solving this. Thanks Jim

Hi any one looking at this problem. I kept reading posts and found one that said to make sure if I had paired the muse mini to another device I should turn the other device blue tooth off. I did and bingo it paired to the Mac Air. Thanks all.

Dead Air Phone Calls with Blue Tooth and Speaker function?

My experience with Note 4 speaker function and blue tooth headsets is they malfunction as often as they work properly during phone calls. When the speaker or blue tooth is activated during a call there is dead air between myself and the other party. I am on my fourth Note 4 in a month due to this problem, that is I bought a new phone and Verizon has sent me three replacements in an effort to fix the issue. Each phone has malfunctioned in exactly the same way. Verizon and Samsung are unable to discuss this with me other than to go through all the diagnostic steps every time I call to ask for help. I am at the point of either living with the problem or changing phones altogether.
Something I find amazing is when I talk to Verizon or Samsung they say this is not a reported issue. Maybe I am the only person who had this experience. Maybe I got the only four Note 4's (in a row) that malfunction like this. Maybe.
This leaves holding the phone to my ear, which is rather old school and does not work with my state's driving laws. Any fixes or reality checks are welcome.

I'm saddened to hear that you've had such an experience with your Galaxy Note 4's. It sounds like Verizon has done everything possible to assist with your Samsung devices. Have you noticed any patterns to when the malfunctions occur?

Hands free blue tooth not connecting and sound quality poor

I recently upgraded from a iphone 3g to the iphone 4. The 4 does not automatically connect to the hands free blue tooth in my Hyundai. I have to turn the phone off and then back on for the hands free in the car to connect to phone. On my 3g I turned on the car and it automatically went to the hands free speakers. Also people tell me they are having trouble hearing me, saying I sound very far away. I never had these problems on the 3g.
Does anyone have any suggestions? This is frustrating because I am constantly in and out of my car and getting many calls from clients and staff while on the road.

I installed IOS4.1 and the bluetooth handsfree connects about 20% of the time without having to power off the phone and turning it back on. I deleted the phone on the handsfree and re-pared the phone.
Something is still not right with the iphone4 and bluetooth connection.

You can receive and send media files in the Windows Phone 7.8 update.
If you see the article about Windows Phone 7.8 update for recent Lumia in Nokia Conversations, you probably did not see the comments. At the bottom part of the comments, one of the Nokia Conversation's author stated that you can send and receive the files through Bluetooth.

I have a Motorolla Razr and i already know how to shorten songs on my i tunes...but when i go to blue tooth the song it still has the full version blue toothed to my phone...how can i get it to blue tooth just the shortened section so i can still have plenty of free space on my phone?

Remove paired blue tooth from Centro

I have been trying out blue tooth earpieces, found one I like (the blue ant Z9i). How do I delete the remaining paired blue tooth's listed under "all known devices"? Also, any feedback on the multipoint function of the Z9i would be appreciated.

HTC Rhyme text & call reminder

Forgive me as the HTC Rhyme is my first smartphone. I'm used to my old school phones, where when I had a text or call that I missed, the phone would continue to "alert" me via chime or whatever every 15 minutes or whatever I designated. I'm now constantly not realizing that I've missed a call or text as my Rhyme doesn't make noise to alert me after the fact. Anyone know if this is something i can set up?

I know! I am having the same issue.......I am used to hearing my old phone "notifying" me when I get a text, I'm still working with this. This too is my first smartphone. It is my second full day with the phone, I have re-set the notification tone to see if that will help.
