Controller is not working custom Region

Hi ,
I am working on customization of OA pages ,IMCAccountOverviewEditPG, on Oracle customer online.The requirement is to add a new advance table region on at the bottom of this page. The application is on 11.5.10 2CU .
So here is test that i tried
CUSTOM REGION:
1) I have created a indepedent test region EQXAccountContactRN of type MessageCOmponenetLayout. Under that i have created Mesage layout. Under this region i have created a message text input and a submit button.
I have attached a controller EQXAccountContactRNCO with EQXAccountContactRN which is just Helloworld program.
Using XML import i have imported this test region. Import works fine.
/oracle/apps/imc/customer/account/createupdate/webui/
I have also copied the controller in the EQXAccountContactRNCO.class in the above server webui folder
ATTACHING THE CUSTOM REGION USING PERSONALIZATION:
2) Using personalization on IMCAccountOverviewEditPG page, i have created an item of "Flexible Layout" type.
2)I have added "Flexible content" region unde the Flexible Layout using personalization which extend EQXAccountContactRN created in step one.
3) I have bounced the apache and looked into the IMCAccountOverviewEditPG page, I can see my Custom SO FAR SO GOOD.
4) But The controlller EQXAccountContactRNCO ,associated with the EQXAccountContactRN custom page is not working. I have put a test code both in the processRequest() and PrcessFormRequest both are not working.
A) Can you please tell me why the custom controller is not working ?
B) Also the flexible content region do not shows the custom controller , all it show is following controller.
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAFlexibleLayoutCO 115.12
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAFlexibleContentCO 115.12

Also if some one knows a better appoach to modify a exisitng page, please comment here.

  • PS4 controller mic not working

    Hi
    I've had my PS4 since day 1 release and same controller until just few days ago when i noticed rubber was coming off bad from the thumbsticks and the audio jack the sound wasn't working as normal, it was coming out the headset very low and at like a different pitch or tinny/distorted (if that makes sense) and people could no longer hear me and they said there was an echo or something. So I bought a new controller (black) and I can hear sound (gameplay and people talking in game chat and party chat) but it doesn't pick up my voice no one can hear me, went back to the shop and had the remote replaced and the same thing with the new replacement (black), funny thing is though, my sisters remote from her white PS4 works with my console and the headset mic works perfectly, sound comes in and it recognises my voice and people can hear me, I can press L2 on the main and use my voice to start the game or whatever. I tried deleting and repairing the controllers, i tried pressing the reset button on the back of controllers, checked that its pushed in all the way, half way, tried turning it, nothing worked.I contacted sony support and they can't help me cos its third party devices being used with the controller.
    What i usually used was beats solo 2 headset or iphone earphones.
    Am I getting faulty controllers?
    BEFORE saying my mic is the problem, why is my headset working on my sisters white controller but not working on the 2 new black controllers? Thanks.

    I think we need to start a list of complete let down threads. I thought this was some type of support group.

  • Sat. A300 - USB ICH8 Family USB Universal Host Controller is not working

    Device: Intel(R) ICH8 Family USB Universal Host Controller - 2830 till 2836 and 283A
    Driverversion is: 8.0.0.1008
    Driverdate: 15.09.2006
    is not working!
    Can anybody help me? Where do I find the actual driver?
    Thanks in advance.
    Chris

    The Intel Chipset driver handles USB drivers. You can download it from the Toshiba Support/Drivers Website.
    But if you installed a strange USB Device recently (perhaps a USB keyboard/mouse/HDD), its driver may be conflicting. So you would need to remove that driver from Control Panel -> Program Features first, then reinstall the Intel Chipset Driver.

  • Xbox 360 Wired Controller is not working with Windows 7.

    Not to long ago I was playing Halo 2 PC using my wired Xbox 360 Controller. All of a sudden my computer (which uses Windows 7) decides not to recognize it. Every time I plug in the controller in now it comes up as "Unknown Device". I have not changed anything,
    I mean anything. Yes I have tried all methods of fixing the problem but they do not work.  If someone knows a sure fine way to get the controller working again it would be much appreciated.

    I 'm using a wired Gamestop Xbox 360 controller and I got mine to work using these steps. Good luck.
    If you already have the software installed, go to programs and features and uninstall Microsoft XBOX 360 Accessories 1.2.
    1) Download the drivers from
    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=gaming
    2) Choose Gaming >
    Xbox 360 Controller for Windows > Windows 7 64 bit > English.Don’t run the drivers.
    Save them to a folder. (Or Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows depending on your controller)
    3) Right click the
    Xbox360_64Eng file in the folder you downloaded to and click "create shortcut"
    4) Right click the shortcut you created.
    Select properties.
    5) On the compatibility tab in properties, click "Run this program in compatibility mode"
    ChooseWindows Server 2008 Service Pack 1 as the compatibility mode. Apply setting and click ok.
    6) Right Click on the shortcut and select "Run as administrator"
    7) With your controller plugged in go to
    Device Manager.  You should see Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class. It located under Mice and other pointing if you do, you have arrived. If you don't, try this.
    Continue only if you don’t see Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class in Device Manager
    8) Right click the unknown device that shows a problem.
    9) Update Driver Software > Browse My computer for Driver Software > Let Me Pick from a List of Drivers
    10) Choose Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class > XBOX 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
    Ignore the warning.
    Should work now.

  • [SOLVED] Xbox 360 Off-brand controller does not work

    I'm having a problem getting X11 to recognize my Madcatz Xbox 360 controller under the Xpad driver.  It works under Ubuntu as a (get this) "pointer device" and perfectly under Windows 7, but nothing more.  I tried modifying entries in /etc/hal/fdi/policy as per instructions on the Linux Mint forums to no avail.
    Below are some things I tried and some data.
    /etc/hal/fdi/policy/MadCatzGamePad:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <deviceinfo version="0.2">
    <device>
    <match key="info.product" contains="Mad Catz Wired Xbox 360 Controller">
    <merge key="input.x11_driver" type="string"></merge>
    </match>
    </device>
    </deviceinfo>
    lshal | grep -i xbox:
    info.product = 'Mad Catz Wired Xbox 360 Controller' (string)
    input.product = 'Mad Catz Wired Xbox 360 Controller' (string)
    usb.interface.description = 'Xbox Security Method 3, Version 1.00, ? 2005 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.' (string)
    I hope somebody can use this information to help me out!  I love the Xbox 360 controller and it's certainly better than the logitech.  Buying a new controller is NOT an option!
    Edit:  It actually works now, it just was blinking before I played a game.  Yay!

    It won't recongize it because the devices (Xbox and headunit) are trying to access the flash drive, something that requires disk mode.

  • Ethernet Controller is not working on Satellite L645D-S4030

    Basically i got my windows 7 reinstalled on to my laptop because of viruses......Now I have a issue with the Ethernet controller not working, I checked my device manager and there's some kind of yellow dash across the icon......Anyone know what the problem is and how i can fix this problem ????
    BTW i have a SATELLITE L645D-S4030

    Hi buddy,
    Hmm Usually if you reinstall Windows from Toshiba recovery disk all drivers will be installed too because the disk contains an image of factory settings.
    Or have you used another disk?
    Yellow exclamation mark could mean there is a driver issue so it would be recommendable reinstalling the LAN driver. Follow the link posted Timox. After installing the driver restart your computer and check device manager again. Normally the yellow exclamation mark should be vanished.

    Device status: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
    Pls help, thanks.

    Hey there wche5,
    I found some information over on this thread may be beneficial to your situation. This controller enables USB over wireless as part of the Intel (WiDi) Wireless Display function. To obtain a fix you will need to go to the Intel Site, and run the Intel Driver Update Utility. This should identify any Intel drivers you have that are out of date, including the WiDi driver.
    Other threads on the forums point directly to this driver by Intel that typically resolves the problem, found on this thread at the end.
     I hope this able to assist you in getting a solution to your issue, Thank You wche5!

  • CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller installation not working

    I have been working with Silicon Labs and Davis Instruments to try to get this driver installed on my iMac without any success. The driver was working on 10.4.11, but after I upgraded to 10.6.2 it is no longer recognized and does not show up in /dev, i.e. no cu.CP2102... or tty.CP2102... . I went to the Silicon Labs web site and downloaded the VCP driver kit that is used to talk to the Davis device (https://www.silabs.com/Support%20Documents/Software/MacOSX_VCPDriver.zip), performed the installation, and restarted.
    I looked at System Preferences, then at Network Preferences. The <CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller> shows up as a grayed out Modem with Inactive Status. Clicking on the Advanced button, it shows the CP2102 as an Apple Modem. Under the WINS tab, it lists the CP2102's NetBIOS Name as IMAC-C7DFF1 and indicates that name is currently being used (possibly by another USB to UART adaptor I use to talk to an old Garmin, i.e. usbserial-FTCUSRHZ, and showing the same NetBIOS Name). Not sure if this is the reason that the CP2102 is not being seen.
    I searched Console, Kernel, Install, and System logs for CP2102, among other things. I did not see any problems in those logs over the installation timeframe. I did notice that the CP2102 gets turned off after 10 seconds of no activity several times in the past in Kernel log, but not as a result of this set of installs. I scanned the various logs over the half hour of the install process, but did not see anything else of interest.
    I opened System Profile and clicked on the USB selection. I expanded each of the USB entries and found the one that shows the CP2102. It shows
    CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller:
    Product ID: 0xea61
    Vendor ID: 0x10c4 (Silicon Laboratories, Inc.)
    Version: 1.00
    Serial Number: 1205096541
    Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
    Manufacturer: Silicon Labs
    Location ID: 0xfd110000
    Current Available (mA): 500
    Current Required (mA): 100
    So, the CP2102 is being recognized, but the driver (cu. and tty.) cannot be found (or possibly is not installed).
    I tied more things:
    1. Performed a Mac reset of SMC and PRAM, with no joy.
    2. Reinstalled Snow Leopard. Reinstalled the Si Labs driver package, and restarted. The CP2102 driver still does not show in the /dev directory (either as cu.CP2102... or tty.CP2102...).
    3. I looked in /System/Library/Extensions and found the SI Labs kernel extension SiLabsUSBDriver.kext. I decided I should perform an operation I read about, i.e. touch /System/Library/Extensions, and reboot. Still no joy.
    4. The System Profile still shows the same CP2102 entry.
    Silicon Labs indicated that some how, based on System Profile information, the Product ID was changed from 0xEA60 to 0xEA61, thus pointing to the USBXpress driver and not the VCP driver. Silicon Labs only has Windows PC tools to fix the Product ID problem, so they cannot help.
    Finally, I did some additional investigation to try to obtain more information. I moved my USB items around and looked in /dev. Here is what I observed (last boot of my Mac was 12:31 PM on 12/22 and the moving things around occurred at about 10:00 AM on 12/27):
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 3 Dec 22 12:31 cu.Bluetooth-Modem
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 1 Dec 22 12:31 cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 17 Dec 27 10:00 cu.usbserial-FTCUSRHZ
    crw-rw-rw- 1 tty 15, 1 Dec 27 10:04 ptmx
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 9, 0 Dec 27 10:04 random
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 2 Dec 22 12:31 tty.Bluetooth-Modem
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 0 Dec 22 12:31 tty.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync
    crw-rw-rw- 1 wheel 18, 16 Dec 27 10:00 tty.usbserial-FTCUSRHZ
    crw--w---- 1 tty 16, 0 Dec 27 10:04 ttys000
    There are a couple of devices that I cannot identify: ptmx, random, and ttys000. ttys000 is certainly out of place and I am wondering if it is the CP 2102 device. Its permissions certainly seem strange too (i.e. crw--w----) as well as its owner and group (tty and 16). In addition, the ptmx owner and group seem strange (tty and 15) as well. Just about everything else is owned by wheel or operator.
    Looking at /etc/group, there is no group = 15 and the group name for 16 is "group." Looking at /etc/passwd, the owner tty (whose owner number is 4) really points to _uucp (Unix to Unix copy protocol). All of this information seems a little strange.
    I would certainly like to get this driver installed properly, so I can talk to Davis device. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have been told by Davis that the Product ID (PID) for the Mac is 0xEA60 and the PID for Windows is 0xEA61. To solve the problem on the Mac only, you apparently have to get a PC and connect to the Vantage Pro console with the PC. Then you have to perform the following steps to reprogram the PID using the PC using Windows:
    1. Install the USBXpress driver on the PC running Windows.
    2. Then run AN144SW "CP210xSetIDs.exe" with "CP210xManufacturing.dll" and change the PID from 0xEA61 to 0xEA60.
    3. Install the VCP driver on the Mac
    4. Now, the CP210x device is ready to be used on your Mac with the VCP driver.
    USBXpress: http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBXpress.aspx
    AN144SW: AN144SW
    http://www.silabs.com/Support Documents/Software/an144sw.zip
    The VCP driver is available for Mac OSX here:
    http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx
    If you run Parallels or VMware or another virtual system to run WeatherLink on Windows, in addition to running WeatherLink on the Mac, you need to perform the following additional step after Step 1 above (note that you do not need a PC, just use the Windows on the virtual machine for Steps 1-4 above and Step 1a below):
    1a. Install the VCP driver on the virtual machine for Windows.
    The VCP driver is available for Windows here:
    http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx
    Now, the CP2102 will re-enumerate on Windows under the virtual machine. You will see that Windows is now recognizing it as a Virtual COM port device instead of a USBXpress device. In addition, you should see the CP2102 (with PID = 0xEA60) on your Mac.
    Hope this information helps and solves the problem for all of us.

  • Extended Controller is not working for SalaryCorrectPG.xml page

    Dear All,
    I have a problem with customisation in Oracle's seeded page in HRMS Module.
    The page navigation is as follows:
    Login--->Home Page---->Access Payroll Manager Responsibility------>people--->Enter & Maintain--->search for an employee------>click on Assignment button---->Click on Salary button--->Salary details page will open----->Click on correct button of the salary page.
    Now I have extended the SalaryCorrectVO in the salary correct page under a custom directory (but structure is same as the seeded one)
    and Created one attribute in the SalaryCorrectVO which is showing multiplied value of FTE Salary and FTEFactor in the page.
    Now my concern is in the page there are three fileds(Amount Change, Change %,FTE Salary) which are editable. PPR event is fired when any value
    changes in these 3 fields. Now my extended attribute (xxSalaryCorrectVO) is depending on the 3rd field's value i.e FTE Salary. So after page load when these 3 field's
    value changes the FTESalary field's value is also changing but my extended attribute's value is not changing (XxfteSalary) .
    So I need to update the controller of that page under where the PPR event is catched. So to update PPR event part I have extended the controller
    SalaryCorrectCO class and write the follwoing code in the extended controller and put the controller in the custom directory.But whenever i put the
    extended controller in the path the Salary Correct page is throwing 'null pointer exception' when the page loads itself. Please help...........

  • Controller="false" not working in ie8

    I'm putting some quicktime movies on my website and I don't really want the player bar at the bottom showing. Using the code that is generated with the xport for web, 3 entries such as: controller="false"
    works in Safari, but not in ie8. Haven't tried FF yet. Is there any other way to hide this thing? Here is the entire code:
    <script type="text/javascript"><!--
    QTWritePosterXHTML('Click to Play', 'videos-poster.jpg',
    'videos.mov',
    '640', '360', '',
    'controller', 'false',
    'autoplay', 'true',
    'bgcolor', 'black',
    'scale', 'aspect');
    //-->
    </script>
    <noscript>
    <object width="640" height="360" classid="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" codebase="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
    <param name="src" value="videos-poster.jpg" />
    <param name="href" value="videos.mov" />
    <param name="target" value="myself" />
    <param name="controller" value="false" />
    <param name="autoplay" value="false" />
    <param name="scale" value="aspect" />
    <embed width="640" height="360" type="video/quicktime" pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"
    src="videos-poster.jpg"
    href="videos.mov"
    target="myself"
    controller="false"
    autoplay="false"
    scale="aspect">
    </embed>
    </object>
    </noscript>

    Open the html file created by the export using any Web browser.
    Make sure you're using both of the text boxes. Your code above only shows the lower part of the code.
    In the "head" tag you must add the links to the external javascript files:
    Use this code in the <head> of your web page:
    <script src="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/ac_quicktime.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/scripts/qtp_library.js" language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="http://www.apple.com/library/quicktime/stylesheets/qtp_library.css" rel="StyleSheet" type="text/css" />
    In a browser that uses javascript (most modern browsers) the lower portion of the page code isn't used (object and embed tag code and the noscript) and the upper portion must be included in the head tag of your html file.

  • Replaced controller is not working for customised IC_BASE's "Root.htm" view

    Hi All,
    We created ZIC_BASE application and included "Root" view from standard IC_BASE .further this setup is maintained in the runtime profile for replaced controller part.
    while triggering thro debugger,  flow is going to  IC_BASE's  Root.view  instead of ZIC_BASE's Root .
    why customised ZIC_BASE  view is not triggered even if we made  set up in icweb runtime profile.
    ( CRM_IC view like "bupasearch" ,we are able replace and working fine but IC_BASE views are not able replace while running IC WEB profile.)

  • Tree expand / contract not working when region copied...

    Hi
    I have a tree view region which I want to appear on each relevant page. Simple, thinks I, I'll copy the region from page to page... but when I do this then the expand / contract buttons don't work. If I create a new tree region then paste in the code from the tree region I want to copy all works well...
    Using Apex version 4.0.0.00.46.
    Anybody else seen this?
    Steve

    >
    The existing page zero appears at the top of other pages, containing specific data. This Tree element only appears on the config pages and is on the left hand side of the page.
    >
    You've just caused me to make a discovery that I hadn't noticed in nearly 6 years of APEX use: Page Zero is assigned a page template! I've no idea why this is: I don't think it should; this template will have absolutely no effect on how the application is actually rendered so I therefore think we should ignore it and maybe it will go away...
    Has the presence of a page template on Page Zero influenced your thinking on its use?
    Understand that regions on Page Zero will not be rendered according to the Page Zero template, but according to the page template for the page they are included on. The region Display Points remain constant: if you assign the Tree element to region position 2 on Page Zero, and it's included on pages 6, 7 and 8, then it will appear in region position 2 on pages 6, 7 and 8. However, using page templates and CSS, region position 2 can be in completely different places on the screen on pages 6, 7 and 8 (and even be in different positions on the screen and on a printout from the same page...).
    The other main thing about Page Zero is that the rendering of regions can be controlled conditionally, often using the Current page in Expression 1 condition, where a list of page numbers specifies which pages a region should be included on. So to make your Tree region only appear on Config pages 6, 7 and 8, set its Display Position to Region Position 2, and give it a Current page in Expression 1 condition with Expression 1 set to <tt>6,7,8</tt>. If the "existing page zero" elements appear on every page except 6, 7 and 8 then use the opposite Current Page not in Expression 1 condition...
    Only very simple apps would tend to include all Page Zero regions on other pages in their entirety: most of the time there will be mix'n'match using conditional rendering.
    >
    Which raises yet another question (getting my 2 cents worth here!) - can we conditionally change the position of a region? eg if on app pages 1 thru 5 then page zero is at top. if on pages 6 thru 8 then appears on left side?
    >
    Hope I've managed to explain why that's not how it works?
    (And reflecting on the mysterious presence of a template on Page Zero, I can only think that it has something to do with the Display Point preview pop-up, even though it's entirely useless as a safe guide to where the region will ultimately appear...)

  • Quicktime Movie Controller Will Not Work in Web Browser

    Regardless if it's Safari or Firefox, I cannot click any of the buttons on the movie controller when viewing my movies in a web browser. They work as intended in iWeb, however.

    Well I figured it out. Apparently if the video is too low on the page it will not play. I had to change the Y value, moving it up, and it would magically play. Weird...

  • Toshiba Media Controller is not working on Satellite P850-12Z and Win7

    Hi
    I have a problem with the program Media Controller, not get it to work at all, I have a Sony Bravia with wifi, try to share music and video and always says "remote media library did not allow the connection".
    How I can fix it, also say that when you try to play a file in the context menu "Play on" attempts to connect to the server but never connects.

    +To stream your media, you need the following hardware and software:+
    A wired or wireless private network.
    Your PC needs to be connected via a broadband router.
    Your devices must be on the same subnet as your computer.
    The network location must be set to Home network.
    Either another computer on your network or a device known as a Digital Media Renderer (DMR) must be present. DMR are hardware devices connected to your wired or wireless network that you can control using your computer.
    +To open Media Controller to allow enabling / disabling (not recommended):+
    1. Click the Start menu.
    2. Enter "Controller" into the search field.
    3. Click "Media Controller" in the search results.
    4. TOSHIBA Media Controller will open allowing you to setup sharing options.
    5. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up file sharing.
    6. For more information about setting up devices on your network, refer to the online help for Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System:
