Controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

Hi thereI have recently had a problem with my Dualshock 4 controller connecting to my PS4. I took ps4 to my dads while i was staying there and everything was fine. Since i returned home i set up ps4 as normal but my controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting itself. It is not a charge issue as it has been charging for 2 hours now. I am just sitting on the home screen now and controller is plugged in by usb cable and just keeps connecting and reconnecting but remains on charge when it disconnects. Any help would be much appreciated

  • Keeps disconnect and reconnect

I have a retina Macbook Pro 13"(latest), iPad(3rd genernation), iPhone 5 and iPod shuffle(latest) and I am sure all their systems as well as iTunes on my Macbook Pro are latest version. The thing is that whenever I connect my iPad and iPod shuffle and try to sync using iTunes it just keeps disconnect and reconnect. At frist I thought there might be some problem with my USB port, so I tried both of my USB ports and it keeps behave like that. And the wired thing is, it did not happend to my iPhone 5 so far. So it is most likely that there are problems with the iTunes.
So I just want to ask is there anyone encounter the same problem and if you know how to fix this problem plsssssss tell me. Thx.

I think these problems were hopefully solved by recent update of Itunes.

  • Wireless keyboard keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

My Wireless Keyboard keeps disconnecting and reconnecting and typing by it self!! any ideas?

    Hi,
Yes believe it or not my problem was caused by the keyboard being too close to the iMac display, the bluetooth was infering with the other radio signals coming from the antenna, it needs to be at least 1ft away from the display (30cm) to prevent this (this won't help those of you with small computer tables/desks)
    Hope this works for you....

  • Internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

    Hello
I have Verizon fios, and my internet keeps disconnecting and reconnecting immediately, over a 10 minute period, many times a day.
I am not wireless. Im directly connected to my router.  It seems to happen at the same time each day, lately its been getting worse, it will happen about 3-4 times a day .  It will start disconnecting, then reconnect, every minute or so, for about 10 minutes.
Ive contacted verizon over the phone, they kept saying to check my router and wire (which I did, and everything seems to fine), after a while on the phone with them, they just hung up on me.  I checked my router, wire, computer, and everything is fine there.
Can anyone help me? This is beginning to be a major issue.
    Please help
    A.W.

I was having this exact symptom for weeks and it was driving me crazy! However, I did find the problem and a solution and maybe it will benefit others as well.
Problem: I had added another device that had a static IP that conflicted with my router's IP.
Solution: In my case, I changed the other devices static IP, but you could also set the other device to use DHCP (best) or change the Verizon device IP.
This can occur for a variety of reasons, but the most common is when you add another router (like a wireless router). Another common cause is that another device on your LAN is running a DHCP server, and since the Verizon router is expecting to be the sole DHCP server they can server the same IP #s out. I've had many cases where a Windows machine just magically started serving DHPC requests, and all versions of Windows I've tested for some reason have the DHCP server running by default!
    Hope this helps!

  • TS3367 FaceTime keeps disconnecting and reconnecting while in use. I have 3mbps connection speed

Try restarting your phone and computer. Make sure itunes is up to date. Try different USB port.

  • Why does wifi on my iPod touch keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

I'm near a good router with three bars of wifi, yet it keeps disconnecting then reconnecting. This may be an iOS 5.1 issue.

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
    - You could also have an interference problem from another device like micrwave or other device.

  • WAG54G2 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

The problem started a few days ago.
    Information:
    Country: Egypt
    ISP: TE Data
    OS: Win 8
    Router: Linksys WAG54G2
Connection: Ethernet cable and wireless for laptop.
    Speed: 2mb
Steps i have tried so far:
Contacted my ISP, all good on their end.
Had a telephone guy come over to plug the router straight to the main line.
Unplugged the router cable and reconnected it again 30 sec later.
I have searched the internet for the answer but to no avail.
    Thanks

If you are experiencing frequent disconnection from the wireless network, you may check the following factors which can greatly affect your wireless signals:
    • 2.4 GHz interference
Your ADSL gateway may be operating on the same frequency as your cordless telephone system or other nearby equipment.  Try to change your ADSL gateway’s channel to 1 or 11 and restart the wireless computers.
NOTE:  The default gateway channel is 6.
    • Physical obstructions
Your ADSL gateway or wireless computers may be losing connectivity because of physical obstacles, including thick walls and floors.  You can physically move the equipment to different locations to find a better link.
    • Surroundings
Keep the ADSL gateway away from large metal objects, bodies of water (fish tanks, bathrooms), and any electrical equipment including television sets, microwave ovens, radios, etc.

  • Connection keep disconnecting and reconnecting itself

Few days ago I installed arch on this laptop (HP Pavilion 15-b129el Sleekbook), I started installing and configuring stuff on it today and I encountered a couple of problems with the connection and xorg (which I won't discuss in this thread).
To make it short, launching wifi-menu will show correctly all the available networks, it won't, however, actually connect.
I tried netctl which successfully connected and gave me a chance to download and install programs, sadly the connection doesn't last long but it seem to reconnect by itself.
For instance, I was updating with pacman -Syu now and as it was downloading the package linux3.10.6-2-X86_64 it kept disconnecting to reconnect after a bit and restart downloading the package from where it stopped.
I decided to test if my laptop had hardware problem and booted into my xubuntu partition, I launched a ping command and it seem to be stable, sometimes it takes a bit longer than it should to receive new signal but it don't seem to lose connection at all.
    Suggestions?

Update: Today wifi-menu managed to connect with a similar behaviour of netctl, connection works fine for a while, then doesn't work, then work again, tested with the ping command, I'd say a bit over a hundred pings works fine, then it stop for a while saying network unreachable, then working fine again.
Changed title to fit better the situation.

  • MacBook keeps disconnecting and reconnecting wirelessly

I need some help, and I cannot seem to figure this out. In my office I have a 20" IMAC running Leopard with a Netgear router attached. When I try and connect wirelessly through my MacBook the connection keeps dropping and restarting and reassigns a new IP address everytime. This is quite annoying as it happens about every 15 seconds. Any suggestions on how to fix this or work around this.
    Thanks for any help.

It does seem to be a cable issue although the iPhone got no problems.. Mysterious.
    Thank you

  • Iphone keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

    Greetings,
I spent nearly 3 hours this afternoon figuring out why my iphone crapped out after upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2. I actually had a problem upgrading after the first update to the iphone firmware as well (on the first update way back in july/august, miraculously it just started working after about 2 hours of messing with it). I would get strange error codes such as the ones in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275 such as error codes 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 13, 19, -18, -48, -50, 1002, 1011, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1608, 1609, 1611, 1612, 2003, 2004, -9808
    Problem:
I would try and run the 2.2 update but it never successfully finished because my iphone would reconnect and then disconnect shortly thereafter. It would stay connected from anywhere between 10 seconds and 5 minutes. Naturally, 5 minutes was just enough time to give me hope, only to have my iphone bricked and forced me to do a restore.
Problem was, I could not do a restore because since the phone was disconnecting every so often, nothing would work.
I uninstalled and reinstalled my USB drivers according to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 but with no dice. It did not work.
I also uninstalled iTunes and all associated applications according to this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
My system is a P4 2.4 GHz with Windows XP SP2 and 2GB RAM. Motherboard is an Asus P4PE.
    Solution:
What finally fixed my issue was disabling the USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller in the device manager. To do this:
    # On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
    # In Control Panel, open Administrative Tools. Note: If you don't see Administrative Tools, look at the left column in Control Panel for a link that says, "Switch to Classic View," and click it.
    # Double click the Computer Management shortcut.
    # In the left column, click on Device Manager.
    # In the right column, click the plus icon next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand this selection.
    # Right click on "USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller" and choose Disable.
Unplug iphone from system. Reboot your system.
Now launch iTunes, wait a minute or so, and plug in your iphone.
    Voila!
No more reconnecting and disconnecting. I was able to restore and copy my data from my last backup. Unfortunately I did lose several pictures I had taken on my camera as I did not manually back those up like I usually do. Since I had so many problems updating my iphone you would think I would have remembered to back up all my photos BEFORE I did the update...
Anyway, I hope this helps someone out there that may have a similar setup to mine.
BTW, the actual chipset USB drivers I have are Intel 82801DB/DBM USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller - 24CD on my P4PE motherboard.

Hi! Wow am I glad I found your post. I had the issue with the iPhone disconnecting/reconnecting. It is infuriating. I couldn't figure out what to do, but when I disabled the same USB 2.0-enhanced host controller that you disabled, my syncs seem to work fine.
The problem is that this also disables USB 2.0. I don't really want to do that. Can anyone comment on why this works and if there is alternative? Are there alternative drivers for USB 2.0 that might work?
    Thanks!

  • Network Adapter keeps disconnecting, and reconnecting.

I am using an Intel NIC and the e1000g driver. Using DHCP it keeps saying e1000g0 connected, gives the IP address, and then says it has been disconnected. I have also tried this on a Realtek NIC using the RTE driver. Also in VMWare workstation, I get the same error. What am I doing wrong?

Hi....I called Apple Tech again because my apple care ran out and I have to pay $49. for tech support, but which is good for 30 days for the same problem you called about.
I have NEVER had problems with it disconnecting before with my wireless network with my express as a remote base station off of my airport extreme....even if my computer went to sleep after inactivity.
What the tech guy told me today is that my computer does not support WPA personal security nor does the Express so we reset everything and it worked...and then bingo, it disconnected again and then reconnected.
I am wondering if there is someone in my apartment building with a 2.4 wireless phone or something which is causing me to disconnect as this can happen.
But, the weird thing is that this only started happening after I had it fixed at the the apple store which set me back $156.00.
I am pretty good at setting up my network....I also wonder if my Time Warner cable modem is causing it. I am going to call them to replace it and see if there are any changes.
It's just the thing that this only started happening after it was repaired at the apple store.
That makes me wonder what could have happened? The computer doesn't "die", it just knocks me off the network.
When you are setting up your network with Express and the Round older Airport Extreme, just make sure if you are using an older computer like my Powerbook G4, you only use WEP security encryption is what the Apple Tech Guy told me.
But then, when I have called three times to try to get this fixed, every tech person tells me something different to do.
    Anyone have any other ideas?
I have set my computer to not go to sleep to try your idea.
Thanks...but does anyone else have any clued to what can be happening?

  • BT HomeHub 2 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting ...

So I've had the router for a few years now and never really had many problems with it. But recently it has been occasionally disconnecting from the internet for about a minute or so then reconnecting, the broadband light goes a flickering orange then back to solid blue after about a minute. I've never had this problem before and it has only started happening since a few days ago.
Could anyone help me find a solution to this problem?

  • Wireless Connection Keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

I recently got a new router to replace my old one (which had the same issue) and it frequently disconnects randomly for a couple seconds then reconnects again. This seems to only happen to anyone using wireless connections and not when its connected with an Ethernet cable. I've even changed the router channel and the problem still persists and its not near anything the could disrupt the signal so I don't understand.

With the same issue on 2 routers, it's probably not a defective router.  But it could be the settings.  As Matt suggested check your security settings and the wireless mode.  If all of your devices are "n" use performance mode.  Otherwise use compatibility mode.
Inssider (available for free at the following link) will show you other devices and enable you to pick the best channel.
    http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider/
Is the problem is on multiple devices or just one?  If it's only one the issue could be the wireless card.
Since it is a wireless problem think about distance and obstruction.  They will reduce signal strength and could cause intermittent problems.  Try testing close to the router and see if the same problem occurs.  Router positioning can improve signal quality.  Don't overlook little things.  Example: many users stand the router up.  I found that I get better reception with it laying on it's side.  And one of my laptops has a significant change in performance by rotating it 90degrees.  The kind of problem you are having may need some trial and error research to solve.
