Controlling my control keys

Awhile ago (using flex3.5 resp CS4 and player 9) I did a prototype for a drawing app that made use of shift, ctrl and alt keys (for an idea how to use so many keys, look at, say, illustrator)
When I try the same thing today, alt-drag no longer reaches the application but rather drags the flash player window around
A related issue:I would like to provide an internal copy/paste feature, but listening on the keyboard for ctrl-c or ctrl-v just returns garbage (a -1 turned into a uint as keycode)
Is there any way to get more control over modifier keys?

Never heard about launch manager on Toshiba notebook but of course the FN buttons are controlled by an special software.
I dont know what system you use and what notebook do you have but for example:
Using Win 7 system, the value added package and in some access the Flash Card support utility controls the FN buttons.

Possible to control a function key

Hi everybody!
I have a question for you.
Is it possible to control a function key (F1 ,F2,...F12) in flex ???
With a click on a "button" I want to execute the F11 key.
(same like pressing F11 on the keyboard)

I'm not trying to manipulate them in real time.
Maybe I titled the thread inaccurately. I should have said, “Possible to control a Wah effect on a software guitar”.
Let me clarify All software. I wrote the software guitar notes by hand, and I'm trying to use the “Foot Control” feature available from the dropdown menu in the editor pane (⌘E).

Macbook Game control puts default keys to "A"! help?

I recently installed an emulator and tomb raider on a friends macbook pro "13 late 2011. But since the other day the controls on my games seem to be thinking the "A" button is being pressed on the keyboard i dont understand why, but i cannot change this at all as it diverts back to A each time i try!! Please Help anyone!!!

Keyboard Problems, Control-Option-Command Keys Don't work

Hello and thanks.
Have a iMac 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Due with 2GB of RAM running 10.5.8 and suddenly the control-option-command keys are not working on my keyboard.
Working fine and then suddenly no keys on my last row worked, including space bar. Scoured message boards and tried all fixes. Substituted keyboard with wireless (known working) and usb (known working) with limited results.
Initially the last row of original keyboard didn't function at all and command keys seemed locked so couldn't type. Only did modifier key functions (open, close, find, et.c)
The two different keyboards, wireless and USB, typed but the control, option and command keys don't work. Space bar works and the command key no longer locked.
Things I have tried:
1. Checked Universal Access settings so no sticky keys, etc.
2. Check Speech settings, all correct.
3. Replaced user, universal access prefs from point of which keyboard worked, no change.
4. Cannot zap PRAM due to no working option or command keys.
5. Reset SMU. Caused fans to go high speed. Unplugged computer from wall. Waited 10 seconds, replugged, fan now normal.
6. Repaired permissions.
7. Tried to repair disk but operation failed in middle of scan. Won't mount from any bootable CD.
Currently the wireless keyboard works fine except I have no control-option-command key usage. Keyboard types fine and all other keys work fine.
Suggestions? I'm very frustrated.

How can I disable Control+PageUp/Control+PageDown Tab switch?

How can I disable Control+PageUp/Control+PageDown Tab switch? I have found various addons to provide additional key combinations for this action, but no option to disable that (these key combinations are mapped on my X server to serve as Home/Pos1 and End, and I would like to have that functionality within firefox as well).

Hi Guigs2, I already tried that (and a whole bunch of other key costumization/mapping plugins), and it does not help. It helps to add other shotcuts for the tab switching, but does not give an option to eliminate the existing key combination. Thank you anyways.

Alsa: I want "Volume Control" to control PCM instead of Master

As in the subject, I would like the volume control to modify the PCM volume instead of Master.
My multimedia keys work the same, so at the moment I have to manually change PCM from the audio preferences.

Well, I suppose I was kind of tight on information...
For volume control I mean either the volume control applet, either the multimedia keys.
Now, both of them control the Master Channel of the mixer, while the only one that changes something in the volume is the PCM channel.
I looked in amixer, and I see my configuration.
In AlsaMixer I can happily control the volume (still from PCM).
What I would like to know is where my keyboard is configured to change the "Master" channel in the alsamixer, so that I can change it to the PCM (or at least have the Volume Control Applet to do that.
It might be worth to note that I am using a dell d630 on a dock, and the sound card should be the digital one in the dock rather than the one in the laptop.
Usually in ubuntu I had to mess with the sound manager to obtain a volume control on the keys.

DELIVERY How to use copying control to control print process?

I recieved a request as this when material no. is 111, then do not auto print the delivery note out.
Delivery note output type is ZXXX.
So is there any idea to use copying control to control this ?

No need of copy controls for this. Delivery note is printed from delivery. So why do you need copy controls?
When defining O/p determination procedure for your O/p ZXXX, in the requirement routine, check the values of LIPS-MATNR. If LIPS-MATNR = 111, donot print the delivery note for that item (LIPS-POSNR). I guess you will need to define a new Z routine for this. Dont change the standard routine.

What is controlling component, controlling area and component code and how are they related? I will appreciate explanations with real life examples.

Company code has legal entity:generally organization is company code.

EDK Web Controls - Unique Control IDs

After following the EDK Web Controls Developer Guide and making all the control IDs unique by appending the PortletID, the LinkButton controls in the portlet lose their OnClick Event Handlers.
The portlet works perfectly when not modifying the ControlIDs.
If I comment out all the portal specific code, modify the ControlIDs, and run in a standard web page, I also lose the Event Handlers.Any suggestions....

The FTP control connection is protected using TLS/SSL (Transport Layer Security/Secure Sockets Layer). File transfer is unencrypted.
FTPS (FTP Using SSL/TLS) for Control and Data Connection
All communication with the FTP server is encrypted and uses TLS/SSL.

Software for Power Switch Control and One Key Recovery for Windows 8?

Hi. I have recently upgraded to windows 8 with a clean install. I was wondering if there is software to get the power switch control software back so I can set it to auto, turbo or cool because without it I think using the switch is useless. I also would like to know if there is a way to get one key recovery back.

I can't use the One Key Recovery of my Y2P anymore, as I decreased the size of the C partition in favour of increasing D:\Data
OKR won't even start anymore...
Any chance to get OKR working again if I make these partitions the same sizes?
