Sadly Snow Leopard was the last OS X to have Front Row and it is no longer offered in Lion or Mountain.

First, I want to clear up some vocabulary issues. After Effects is not intended for editing video. Editing involves cutting shots together to tell a story. Premiere Pro edits video. While you technically can cut video together in AE, Premiere is much, much better for that.
After Effects is used for creating shots - visual effects, compositing, motion graphics, animation, color correction, color grading, etc.
What exact version number of AE (down to the decimal points) are you using? Plus the questions Todd asked, plus the info in the link he gave.
Also, if you're new to AE, you should really start here. This resource will give you a foundation in how to actually use After Effects that will probably clear up your current problem and prevent much more frustration in the future.

Second, which exact set of installer discs? They have to be black colored retail discs, not grey ones which came with a specific model Mac and will only boot that model.
What are the exact specifications of the computer? Does it have sufficient RAM? You're asking a lot for a G3 to run Tiger.

ML 10.8.2 parental controls "Allow Always" doesn't work

I have set up parental control for two kids' accounts with limited application
When my kids try to start an App, even though the App is in the allowed list, there is still a pop-up to ask for administrator's permissions. The sad thing is that if I select "Always Allow", it doesn't work. The app doesn't get started. If the app is on the dock, it will bounce once. However, "Allow Once" works, but I can't just stay home all the time to authorise this. That's why I need parental control!
Anyway, I have noticed that:
Even though my parental settings for both kids are exactly the same. One kid can access Safari with no problems while the other kid always gets the prompt.
The prompt is coming up very slowly lately. It seems taking 20 seconds after the App is selected.
I find hundreds of lines similar to the following messages in the console log:

So I solved this on my own. Based on other similar posts, I tried the messages certificate removal (didn't work), the messages pinfo file removal (didn't work), and finally the Mountain Lion recovery install (WORKED!).
This is getting to be like Windows. If it doesn't work, reboot or re-instal...

ICloud Control panel absolutely doesn't work

So I downloaded iCloud Control Panel on my PC with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and it doesn't work. It doesn't recognize that I have Microsoft Outlook, even though it's Outlook 2007, It doesn't merge the bookmarks and I can't activate Photo stream because this option on iCloud Control Panel is all grayed out. So what can be blocking iCloud Control Panel? I don't use any antivirus software, so that's not a problem. I also tried to use the iCloud control panel in my sisters notebook and it works perfectly.

Hi,
since today in amarok (2.4.1) the volume control doesn't work anymore. I can change the level on the switch on the top right but it doesn't change the actual volume.
The volume control in my KDE tray works as usual.

Function v('ITEM') just reads item values from APEX environment.
If you want to update item values from PL/SQL you should use apex_util.set_session_state API
Syntax: apex_util.set_session_state(item,value)
So you should write: apex_util.set_session_state('P34_LEVEL_'||i , i );

I am trying to ge my KeyListener working.
My code is as follows:

Add your keyListener to the JFrame and it will probably work, the JFrame has the focus when you use your JPanel.

On the control panel for ios7 when I press play or pause or skip, it doesn't work, why?

So I have no apps open other than music and when I want to pause song or skip it the buttons don't work on the control or lock screen, I restored it and it worked for a bit but then after a bit it happened again, it only works when I'm on the music itself

6303i Classic modem doesn't work - why?

In the 6303i user manual: "You can use your device as a modem by connecting it to a compatible PC. For details, see the Nokia Ovi Suite documentation"
Based on this I just bought a 6303i and wasted a morning trying to get the modem to work. I can connect to it using Hyperterminal, interrogate it, find out what network it's connected to (AT+COPS), what the call quality is (AT+CSQ), but as soon as I type ATD [phone no] it returns ERROR.
Why does AT+CSQ, +COPS etc work but ATD doesn't?

nowadays, nokia phones which comes with computer compatibles(connectivity) and gprs enable, also can be used as a modem.
I hope you are not typing your phone no. in atd command. it should be somewhat like *99#(contact your sp).
to use your phone as a modem, no need to go such detail(but if for some reason you need).

Copy "New Photos" doesn't work in import dialog

Hello,
I am a new lightroom user on Lightroom 4.2. When I import pictures from my SD Card I usually leave copies on the card for a while so I have them as backup, and to also be able to see recent pics on my camera. However each time I go to import pictures from that card within LR, it defaults to selecting all pics on my SD card even though I have the "New Photos" filter selected at the top of the import box.   It always puts all my photos in the "New Photos" section, so I have to deselect all the photos that I have already imported into my catalogue so I don't get duplicates. How do I get LR to only import pics that haven't been imported bfore?
I am aware of the "Don't Import Suspected Duplicates" option, but that is not the samea as what I am looking for.   It only deselects photos that still exist in my catalogue.   Any photos that I have deleted from my catalogue remain selected in the import box as it doesn't see any duplicates.
Any suggestions to what I'm missing to have LR only select photos that haven't been previously imported from that card?

Thanks Jim & Frans, let me clarify what I am currently experiencing with these 2 functions:
The "new photos" check box does not impact the number of photos selected for import, regardless if they are still in my catalogue or not. So, even though my card has a mixture of pictures that have been previously imported and not imported, LR selects all the photos on the card for importing.   Checking or unchecking the "new photos" box, does not change the number of pictures selected for import.   I was hoping that selecting the "new photos" box would deselect any photots that have been previoulsy imported, but that is not the case, there is no change in the number of photos selected.
The "Don't Import Suspected Duplicates" works as I expect it would. When I check this box LR deselects any photos that still exist in my library. While this works as expected, it doesn't serve what I would I am trying to acheive. It is not very often that I would want to re-import photos that I have deleted from my library.   I likely deleted them because I don't want them anymore.
To summarize, here is what I would "expect" to happen, just not sure if it is "supposed" to happen:
Checking "New Photos" should deselect any pictures that have been previously imported to LR, regardless if they are still in the library.
Checking "Don't Import Duplicates" should deselct any pictures that still exist in the library.
If that's not the case, then perhaps someone could explain the purpse of the "new photos" check box.

my IR remote control worked fine initally. Then I didn't use it for a while and when I did again, it didn't work anymore. I changed the battery, but no success. It just doesn't link anymore.
