Conver Normal accounts to being Business Accounts ...

I have been trying to set up Skype Business Manager for our staff in work.
However one of the IT staff, has decided to create accounts for around 20 of the staff, themselves and link them to their "company email address" these are set up as "normal skype users and not via Skype Business manager.
Now in Skype Business Manager, I have noticed you can create Business Accounts and I have done this for the majority of the workforce apart from these 20 accounts, which the IT has set up as "normal users". We have tried to import them in to be managed as a Business Account and this is ok. But ideally I want to be able to create "Business Accounts for the staff". Using the current accounts that have already been set up.
I was going to delete these 20 accounts, and set them up again as Skype Business Accounts, but found that you cant delete your account after setting it up for these "normal users".
therefore the format of the accounts I was using for the company was as follows "FirstletteroffirstnameSurname.CompanyName" is not consisnt as these 20 accounts have been set up as "normal users" and not business.
Any advise on how I can resolve this or is there a way to convert these acccounts which we have created as "normal" to being full BUSINESS accounts would be much appreciated.

The feature for adding existing skype users to the Skype manager Panel used to work, but for some reason Skype stopped it. Maybe money laundering regulations - who knows?

You would have to sign out of the store with that AppleID and sign in with the alternate AppleID.
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> tap the Apple ID showing, logout, then login.
Beware thought that you can only change a device's AppleID association once every 90 days.

Business Account shipping addresses for international partners

I have a business paypal account, and I upgraded it from my personal account so that I could use it for my business now. I'm a general partner and the company's US agent. However, my other partner lives in Turkey and so he obviously has an address in Turkey. I added him to the new business account, now Our business account, but I can't seem to add his address since it's outside of the U.S. It's telling me that if I've moved to a different country, to make a new paypal account. We've had this same problem with eBay. Sometimes things will need to use our US address and sometimes things will need to use our Turkey address. Keeping separate accounts isn't really possible since our business finances are with our business and shared by both of us. I want that things shipped to Turkey would have his name or our business name, and things shipped to the US would have my name or our business name. And whether his purchases or my purchases, our business account would be used. Right now the business account is in my name and since I have a US address, I'm unable to add his address or have anything shipped to there. He has his own personal PayPal, but it's nearly useless for our business because Turkey only allows funds to go into Turkey through PayPal - not out. So, he can only use his PayPal to send money or purchase from people who are also in Turkey. What can we do? Thanks in advance for any help on this

IPhone and business accounts with AT&T

AT&T is telling me that I can not activate iPhones under my business plan with them. Has anyone else had issues with this? They told me this was part of the contract with Apple - has anyone heard anything about this?

For discussion purposes I will venture a few guesses:
a) ATT has been trying to get rid of the business discounts for quite some time, what better way to get business accounts switched over to personal accounts than something enticing like the iPhone (once you switch over, your business discounts are gone forever)
b) The iPhone has very few business features a road warrior would want
c) From the outset, the Business sector has compained that there might be too many security flaws in the iPhone - long before the iPhone came out
d) There are no business applications on the phone
e) ATT makes more money from personal accounts than from business accounts - no discounts, no need to keep a corporate entity happy
f) Many corporate networks forbid iTunes on their computer systems, and iTunes is required to activate and sync the iPhone, for updates, and everything else.
Those are just a few quick things I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of some others, I'll come back and edit and add them.

Business Account Overages

Our company transferred everyone's Verizon account into one Business account. Our owner has Sprint and when we did this transaction we told our Verizon rep that we needed to add our owners Sprint number to our Friends and Family list. Reviewing our bill we went over around 250 minutes and saw that his number was not added to the Friends and Family list. We would like to dispute those overages since the rep was asked to add that number on asap (as we knew the owner would be calling). Were will I get "better service" or someone who can handle a business account? At my local store or from a national rep? Thoughts?

If you or the Account Owner are enrolled in My Business Account via My Verizon, you will be able to verify, manage, and edit the Friends & Family numbers. This way, if you were charged for a number that is on your Friends & Family list, you will be able to dispute the overage charges, as well as fix the possible issue as to why the numbers are not reflecting as they should.

I have a normal apple account can i enter my vat reg number at the check out or do i need a business account?

like do i have to make a business account to get a invoice for my tax return thing or do i just add it during the check out in a my normal account

I'm not sure if it will work with a normal account, but it looks like you can just enter it when you have a business account.

You might want to try calling that number to see what your options are with a normal account.

I am using apple mail on my Mac and have two different accounts set up, one personal and one business. when i send mail a copy of the message is being saved into my business account swell.

Both accounts are Imap but the business one is Gmail and the persoanl one is 1and1. when i compose new mail in my personal account I make sure it says its going from my 1and1 account but for some reason the message appears in both sent boxes.
I need to fix this as I dont want other people using the business account seeing my personal sent emails!
This has only just started in last couple of days when I did something on accounts but cant think what that would have been.

I need to talk to someone about changing all of my accounts. A iCloud account was opened not by me and I lost 17 years of contacts. I have slowly gotten them back. My files from my Mac Book were taken and are gone. It has cost me about 60,000 dollars in business since November which has effected my staff as well. Many personal ireplacable memories of my childrens Photos were taken, Business, designs and accounting and personalFiles you name it gone or corrupted. I plug in my usb connector from my HP 8100 Printer with Blue tooth capabilities and it pops up and an external E drive for downloading just like an external drive. My printer acepts every imaginable portable disk on the market . Many of my usb drives are gone or have been corrupted. I have this darn air drop that goes on all the time. My computers I turn off and then they are on when I get up. I can go on and on. I live in the bay area and I am asking for help in trying to stop all of this. I will call Apple next but I wanted to put it out on this forum with the hopes of some response or input. I have all of my new and very minimal recovered information now on a web-based server which I know is safe the pass words and set up were done very discreetly (one can only hope). I apologize in advance for laying this out there like this. I am just so frustrated and because of the POSSIBLE implications makes it even harder In which I truly want to be proven wrong. I have never written or thought that I would be doing this as it is. If anything I hope some good comes out of this for someone. Bluetooth is a powerful tool this much I know now. I have the problem that I set up my account which was supposed to be my business account (which you normally set up with Skype Manager™) as a personal account...is there any way/chance that I can change that?

Business account, changing main person on the account question

We currently have a business account through Verizon Wireless that has unlimited everything. The ownership of the business has changed and we need to get the account billing and everything changed into the new owner. We will be removing the main account owner from before from the account. Will this mean that we can no longer have the unlimited package we previously had?

Business customers have Verizon account executives which when called on their phone will just change the person in charge of the account to the person the company designates.
This does not result in any changes other than the responsible contact at the company.
Your company normally has a wireless contract which does not change with replacing contact or responsible billing people.

Adding an individual business account

OK, I've read a lot. It's best to have a separate business account (which is what I already thought). There is an "individual" business account and a "regular" one -- I'm an individual (not a registered business with the state, at least yet). I can have both a personal and a business account (including an :individual" one?). But what is not clear is how to add that business account. I've seen how to convert my account to selling, but that's not exactly what I want. I see a place on the login page to create a new account. But will it be clear how to link the new business account I create to my personal one and not make it look like somebody else is trying to open an account in my name? Will using the same bank account do that? Can I even do that? Will using the same physical address do that? (It shouldn't -- if my adult daughter who lives with me wants her own account, she should be able to get one.) The same email address (which I don't want to do)? It floors me that there is no "walk me through it" capability before you actually apply so you can get all the answers in advance. I see so many messages here from folks that didn't make it to the end and get a validated business account that there must be a lot of pitfalls I would like to avoid. But without knowing what they are and being prepared with all the answers in advance, how do I do that? Can I just start an application and not push the final button and all will be forgotten if I need to start over? I have a domain, I have a separate email account. I don't have, but could get if needed, a separate (business) bank account. I want to start on eBay and work my way to a web store when I retire from my full-time job soon. I just need a way to take funds and a roadmap on how to get there. I'm finding no useful roadmap, I think perhaps in part because of the recent elimination of the "Premier" account, which is what I thought I needed. Any trailblazing advise is welcome.

You are allowed two paypal accounts, x1 personal and x1 business. Why would you need to link them if they are 2 separate accounts?? As they are separate you would need another email address / bank account / card on each one. When you open the business account you just enter the info as an individual and ignore any company info.

Cannot open Firefox 3.6.8 since installing toolbar from Inbox Dollars. Have 2 user accounts on my MacBook and it is fine on my business account, but will not open on my personal account, which is where I installed the toolbar.

AppleCare tried to help, but since Safari is working fine on both accounts, they said the problem was with Firefox on the personal account and they could not help me any further than what they already tried I do not want to lost it on my business account as well.

Try using Firefox's Safe Mode to disable the add-on.

How do I specify the gmail outgoing server if I have multiple gmail accounts in my mail? I have 2 business accounts and when I send mail from one account, it is sent from the other account and the sending email is not from the correct account.

I love my apple email and do not want to use google mail on safari. However, I have 2 gmail accounts set up on apple mail, but when I send mail from one of my gmail accounts (I choose the specific gmail account in the drop down window), it actually goes out as if it is from the other gmail account. I can't have that happen because one is my job, the other is a personal business account and unfortunately, the mail from both gmail accounts want to send through the personal business account. How do I make it send from a specific gmail account? I even tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again hoping I set it up wrong in the first place, but to no avail, it is still doing the same thing except this time I set the job account up first and then the personal business account and now everything goes from the job account! The only good thing is that the incoming messages work properly and they go into the correct inbox. Somebody please fix my outbox!

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Go to System Preferences and click Sign Out, select Delete at all the prompts, then sign back in with the changed ID? (Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)
